Registration Paused
Due to the extremely high number of registrations that have occurred recently we have paused our registration feature while out team works to make changes in our internal systems to cope with the increased level of traffic our site is experiencing.

We apologise for any inconvenence and will resume registrations as soon as we can.

Thanks for your patience at this time.

Be patient and keep checking, I think its in their own interest to boost their servers as fast as possible

Support answers once a week or two. If they don't change it quickly, they'll lose users.
Not mentioning they DOT has been pumped recently and now listing a new coin costs over 25BTC.

They just said:  "Due to being unable to provide any kind of realistic or accurate ETA on both the DOGE/LTC markets being resumed, we have decided it best to close these base markets at this time. Please close any open orders, and we apologize for the inconvenience."

thank you  Cheesy, I'll wait until tomorrow, another question, three days ago send a ticket to support with my IDs for validation number 2 but until today they do not respond, what time should I wait
Well, if you'll read a few last pages of this thread, you'll see that the exchange is not coping well with the increased number of registered users. Might take up to a couple of weeks. When you open a ticket they do warn you: "Expect a delay in us replying to your ticket, at the moment the wait time is around 12 days."

Hello, by mistake I gave you to block my account from my email, now it does not let me access, what should I do?, I already send a ticket but they do not answer me  Huh
Had the same thing once. A ticket won't help you, I think when you lock your account this way the support won't unlock it by your request (kind of a safety measure). It will unlock automatically in 24 hours (at least mine did).

Letter From The Founders

My name is Rob Dawson, or probably better known as "Hex", and I am one of the two Co-Founders of Cryptopia. Adam ("sa_ddam213") and I started Cryptopia as a hobby, largely due to our own negative experiences with other exchanges and a desire to build the website that we ourselves wanted to use. 6 months into development we founded and incorporated Cryptopia as a company, and after 12 months of development the site went live into production for the first time in December 2014. For the first 2 years the company consisted soley of Adam and myself, working our regular full times jobs and dedicating our spare time and income to Cryptopia, and while we were proud of our growth and what we were achieving it was not even a drop compared to what we've experienced in the last 6 months, let lone the last week. Roughly this time last year Adam and I being well into having quit our jobs to work on Cryptopia full time and running low on savings and resources had a very real conversation about whether or not we should shut Cryptopia down, we had a modest 30,000 users, with an average of 2,000 concurrent user sessions at any given time, and averaged about 300 BTC in trade volume a day; we were proud of what we had achieved, but at the time it simply wasn't sustainable with our dwindling resources.

Obviously we didn't shut down Cryptopia in January 2017, thanks to an investment we were able to keep pushing through. By the 1st of December we hit 500,000 users. On the 31st of December we hit 1,000,000 users. By the 3rd of January we hit 1,100,000 users. By the 4th of January even with registrations disabled for 3 hours, we hit 1,200,000 users. With registrations paused again we're now sitting at 1,400,000 users. We've gone from just 2 people to over 50 people including contractors and consultants and we're looking to at the very least double that as soon as we can, but that also brings with it its own set of hurdles. I mention all of this only to give context as I would like to acknowledge the complaints and concerns about our level of service. We are aware that our level of service has been suffering, but that is not due to any complacency on our part, rest assured that we are hiring people, and developing the processes to manage those people to grow with the demand we're facing and scale as best as we can. Please bear with us, as we know how frustrating it can be for users involved in issues impacting their ability to transact freely, but we're in an unprecedented time with adoption and interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain surging and Cryptopia is dedicated to being a quality service provider in this evolving landscape.

Thank you for supporting Cryptopia and being a part of our community.

LTC and DOGE basemarkets have been temporarily paused in an attempt to ease system congestion while we work through migration and server/network scaling issues.

I tried to withdraw some ETH 5 hours ago and the status is still Processing. I know the gas price needed for fast transactions has increased again in the past few days but this is not the problem. The problem is that Cryptopia doesn't want to trigger my withdrawal. And withdrawal fee is enough to cover whatever gas price, even 60 gwei so I don't understand what is taking them so long.
I've been using Cryptopia for trading DeepOnion coins but I will switch to KuCoin now.

You are lucky.

I made that eth withdrawal some days ago. I didn't receive the tx they gave to me is empty and they didn't still returned to my ticket.

I am currently unable to login onto the site. I've tried multiple browsers, but on all of them i'm getting the same error.

-- ERROR:"SSL_ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED_ALERT" --

Anyone else encountering this? I haven't been on the site for a long time, i presume they changed from HTTPS provider, do i need to delete /reinstall my browser (Or is there something you could resolve )?
( Can't really find anything about this issue on google. Only if it doesn't work in general/all sites., which isn't the case)

It works fine on mobile, since i have never logged on there before, but it is still pretty annoying. This is the only site i'm encountering this error with aswell.

Try clearing your browsers cache and eventual try to remove all cookies referring to cryptopia.
No problem to reach the site here.

Considering all the crap that's been happening with cryptopia lately, I'd expect one to pay for the privilege of getting rid of an account there. Cheesy

The people who executed deposits and got confirmation on the site: http://chain.nem.ninja/#/blocks/0

However, are having difficulty receiving their XEM (NEM) coin deposits (NEM) in  accounts Cryptopia.

Report to https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/ for the police.

Contact the New Zealand Police http://www.police.govt.nz/advice/email-and-internet-safety/electronic-crime

Read their news post about growth etc: https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/news

People will get their funds, just have a bit of patience. Reporting to the police will get you nowhere, Cryptopia are a properly registered company in NZ and already work with the NZ regulators and Police cyber crime division.  They're solid.

Good to know Cryptopia is on top of it with regulators. Solid company!
