Almost 3 months have passed and still no lawsuit against those scammers "officially" running from New Zealand? I am disappointed.

you should hope no lawsuit will be filed until you can put hands on your funds, or you will not see them again.
Probably they are keeping withdrawals closed as a ransom against lawsuits.

From this posting linked above: https://cointhoughts.co/exchange-dividend-token-hit-all-time-low-one-week-before-alleged-3-5-million-hack/

Quote
Trading volume on the exchange's CEFS markets, Cryptopia's tokenized shareholder asset, inexplicably increased significantly in the days leading up to the theft, yet there had been no meaningful announcement, news, or rumor related to Cryptopia or its operations. The trading action was led by steady sell pressure and pushed the market price of CEFS to a record low of 0.0503 BTC and a USD all-time low of $178.62. The token is down over 50% since Dec 24, 2018, just three weeks ago.

Quote
Such unprecedented sell-off of CEFS just before the theft of several million dollars in tokens is not a coincidence, I assure you; it indicates the crime was an inside job involving at least one major shareholder. Obviously the thief was blind with greed, aiming to dump the shares before nabbing $13 million, leaving behind loads of evidence likely to lead investigators right to him.

Quote
The latest news from Cryptopia confirms they, too, see strong evidence of an insider operation – law enforcement and government agencies were quietly notified and promptly stormed the company's offices and declared the facility locked-down while staff were interviewed. Management clearly believed the thief was still there, and I'll wager they have a good idea who was involved based on the sloppy, amateur execution and the blatant trading activity taking place beforehand.

Interesting speculation, but what if they were ALL in on the inside job and this is just a pretense? What if they are covering for long-ago stolen or lost or misused funds? Because if the funds were missing not now but sometime ago, you can't post a TX, right?

They claim so far BTC, ETH and LTC are stolen. We may know the TX for ETH from elementus, there was some indication about LTC, but it was all moved, not 43% and we know nothing about BTC moving.

"when all wallets got checked"

LOL!

ETA ... May 2099.

This is the FOREVER excuse.

I think they are working hard behind. But they are taking much time as expected. We need someone from Newzeland to contact them else this will be turned into a scam.

It’s not in Cryptopia interests too continue too delay the enevatable which in enabling withdrawals the longer it takes the less likely people will have confidence in Cryptopia as an exchange

When is Cryptopia's  Annual General Meeting (AGM)?

Will the shareholders be rewarded with dividends for the successful 2018 and previous years?

 https://www.investopedia.com/terms/a/agm.asp

"In most jurisdictions, the following items, by law, must be discussed at an AGM:

...

-Ratification of director's actions: The shareholders approve and ratify (or not) the decisions made by the board of directors over the previous year. This often includes the payment of a dividend.

...

Someone steals your stuff. Your stolen stuff is locked in a container somewhere down the street, in plain sight. You don't tell anybody your stuff is there, although your neighbours and the city locals are very amenable and willing to keep watch for free. The thief starts moving your stuff but only the neighbours seem to take notice. A coleague of yours who was robbed in the same way asked everybody for help and told everybody where the stolen stuff is.

Now who acts like that in reality? Who keeps the txs a secret when the community can do so much and only the cooperation of the community is your hope of retriving stolen stuff, when it surfaces on exchanges?

Doesn't this seemingly illogical manner of acting make everybody wonder if you are in on the job?

I'm talking to you, Hex. I mean Ben.

I don't understand why the hacker did not already switch to a privacy coin.
