Cryptsy has stolen $400 from me!!
I've been away from the account less than 6 months I believe since 25/02/2015,

yet they say I've been away 6 months and have locked my account.

Then they ask me security questions that I never even set....
I've had my Cryptsy account two years its disgusting to treat a customer like this.

This all went down last night, so its not been 24h yet otherwise Id already be making multiple threads.
but if my issue isn't resolved, I will be reporting this to UK trading standards, and taking legal action if necessary.  


 

My issue with Cryptsy got resolved in a fairly prompt manner,
and my account didn't have $400 is was $600 so nice bonus Tongue

I can still recommend Cryptsy as a legit trustworthy site,
even if it doesn't have ORB/Fiat like other exchanges yet.

They seem like scummy scammers, at best taking interest-free loans on my coins, at worst outright stealing them.

24 hours is our average turn around on tickets...

I had problems with them too, they didnt answered  or responded in my emails that i sent to them.

You need to generate a ticket on the site. Emails dont always get converted to a ticket. Its a problem we are working on

i can understand the frustration.   my account with 10,000 ltc has been locked for almost 2 weeks now.

cryptsy should put a note in their ticket emails stating there is a special section you have to visit to resolve tickets.  i think this would remedy a little confusion people have.

Are you talking about this thread? Or responding to tickets?

Cryptsy has come a long way, and I never have issues with it anymore.

Sorry for the extra delay. I had it set to manual approval. All restrictions have now been lifted and withdrawals processed

Your withdrawal was held due to a few reasons.

New ip address when previously only 1 had been used. New withdrawal address for a large amount. We requested you answer your security questions to verify ownership of the account so we could process the withdrawal. When a response hadnt been given for 4 days we locked the account assuming it wasnt the owner requesting it. If you respond to your ticket with the answer for the security questions your account will be unlocked.

If you dont remember the answers we can find some other way. But you have not responded to either ticket since we asked for the verification of the security questions


i did respond to the security questions both times i filed a support ticket. thats what is so frustrating. its like i'm intentionally being ignored. after i answer the security questions they locked my account due to "no response".  just release my withdrawal or email me @ [email protected]  or call my cell @ 971-258-6970.  i need my coins before the price drops more!

like i said - i can make another deposit from the originating wallet to prove that its me that is withdrawing back to that same address.

Both of the ticket you provided me have no response from you after we asked for the answers to your security questions. You can verify this by logging into freshdesk and viewing the ticket.

Email is not an acceptable form of proof of ownership of the account.

 That phone number was only added to the account ofter you iniated the withdrawal. You should be responding in the ticket to get this resolved. Not the forums. You have to realize how this looks to a business trying to protect their customers funds.

Looking at it now I do see the coins were deposited the same day the withdrawal was initiated. If the withdrawal is going back to the originating address i will approve it. Please respond to the ticket and we can get this resolved
