I was hoping that Afghanistan will be having an easy victory, but the rain interruption disrupted everything. And now AFG will have to chase down a bigger total in 41 overs. And Afghanistan is not really known for winning close matches and performing under pressure. After two matches with consecutive zero points, I may end up with another one today.

I bet on SL but looks like they won't even manage 230-240 runs as the weather is bad, they have 2 wickets left and match is already delayed. Malinga is no good batsman so Afghanistan may manage to just win this but still I hope SL manage to win as the conditions are not so favorable for chasing.

Well we are seeing totally a different Sri Lanka. I do not think they are going to lose this match. Afghanistan are struggling too much. They are so nervous that the bowlers are bowling extra balls, fielders are fielding sloppy, the body language are not looking good at all.
May be Sri Lanka will have a trashing win.

hmm, Afghanistan is struggling with its bowlers and fielding. But they have taken 8 wickets in 182/8 (33.0). So the score is suitable for Afghanistan. And I think the rest of the wickets will be gone soon. But unfortunately, the game stopped by rain. Now we need to see when will start the game again.

I think very few people expected this result that inform England will lose against Pakistan. If you look at our pool pick then you will see all of us were wrong LOL. Another unpredictable performance from Pakistan and this time it's in their favor. Very few people (Non of us in the pool though) I think predicted that Pakistan will win, I doubt even if the Pakistan team mate were predicting to win this match LOL

I am expecting Afghanistan to comfortably win against Sri Lanka after watching them play against Aus recently. If Sri Lanka wins, all the losing teams would basically be back in the competition currently. Inputs?

for my next pick is just based on the latest match for every country because i don't know anything about cricket and from this event i will try to research more so i can pick the winner of the match

and he had picked Bangladesh as well. My motivation was to pick Bangladesh-Other than Mostafiz and Masrafee, all the batsman have close to average batting. Miraz, Saifuddin, Mosaddek, we can expect run from all of them. In fact, our batting line up is a good one with a long. I mean at 8th position, if you can expect to get 20 runs, that's not bad, right?
I hope they will prove it in the upcoming matches.
So, after seeing the toss result I may change my decision.

No change in leaderboard since no one picked Pakistan. Vishnu is leading with the yellow cap. Pakistan have had done prettty well with batting in previous match as well against England although they had lost. Whatever, this is a good start for them as well.

Good supports by Root and Butler where both have reached 100 more runs. But Just now Butler gone and the score is now 291/6 in 45 overs. So pakistan is now upper position in winning chance I think. What do you think? Can england chase?
I believe these both are traditional batsmen and they alone played their innings like 50 overs and other players were trying to hit like 20/20 matches. I believe England team needs to work out well in coming days.
I am not sure how they gonna handle the other team because not even able to handle the Pak team.
Lets see who is the next defeater of England team.

Game lost. But still kuddos to Root and Butler who kept the match going till the 44th over but the score was too much to chase down. It's worthy to note that none of the batsmen of Pakistan could manage to get 100 runs but still the top 5 did get runs and did not put much pressure on the remaining bowlers to get enough runs unlike the England team where 2 batsmen managed 200+ runs.

Looks like my luck has run out. Got 0 points from yesterday's game and for today also I will get the same number of points. Never expected Pakistan to perform so well after the thrashing they received during the warm-up matches. Just hoping that Round 2 will be better for me... there are a few tough picks, but I guess I can manage.
Pakistan is just unpredictable and before the start of the match i thought it is an easy win for England seeing the performance of Pakistan against West Indies but they played like a different team altogether, as long as Root and Butler is in the crease you cannot count out England as they have players who can bat till the ninth wicket. So I couldn't bet for the first round as I did not understand how to play but now I chose my teams for the next round. Hopefully my predictions come true. Looks like this time everyone chose England to be the winner and that too it being Easy and Comfortable
