Need some spare btc for a new PC

As i know bitcoin debit card are normal card that can be used anywhere to pay the bills, soo its possible to use bitcoin on the daily needs and basic things, would be nice to go gas station and pay with bitcoin debit card. But we can use bitcoins for almost anything online, there are already a lot places accepting bitcoin as payment

But what is actually so nice about that?

Does it rub your ego somehow that you are able to pay with bitcoins even though no one knows (apart from you and your card provider, of course) that you are actually paying with bitcoins ? I guess the same felt people with first cell phones and first payment cards as such but apart from that, I don't think it is a good idea to waste your bitcoins which you could use to multiply your capital (even if via simple Bitcoin appreciation over time). I guess you should use bitcoins to make even more bitcoins and spend cash instead on casual things (such as gas)

That may be true but in some situations bitcoin can help out through the daily small trades, like grocery, gas,etc.. in my case as an unemployed (atm) student, I'm using bitcoin I earn from signature campaign to buy groceries daily, pay monthly internet bill and phone bill, and believe me it helps a lot.

So id that boosts hes ego, the let him do it. Cheesy I'd love to eat at a restaurant and pay with bitcoins, just to fell that... feel of paying something with bitcoin in person rather then online transactions or trading bitcoin for fiat. Smiley

I don't use my bitcoins daily in real world as I think saving them at a moment is the right decision but I keep on trying to multiply them by spending them on trading and gambling sites as it helps me in growing my coins and apart from that I don't think its worth to spend them on useless things.

Most of the people are doing the same by spending them on trading and gambling sites to multiply their bitcoins in quick time, some of them succeed and majority of them fails in it so its better to collect them and save for the future.

Seriously? Can you tell me which are those places that are accepting bitcoins as a mode of payment? As I don't see many online sites who have an option to make payment with bitcoins but if you can show me the name of sites then it would be really helpful.

Its difficult in our country if you would have to spend a whole day say just with btc since their are not many establishment accepting btc due to its volatility of price and unclear government policy. So people refrain from accepting it as a mode of payment. Also not many online sites do accept it as of now.

I agree that its not easy to use bitcoin on daily basis especially at offline places where none of the people are aware about bitcoins so the only option left for us is to convert it to fiat currency and then spend but I am sure that things will change in future when more places will start accepting bitcoins as a mode of payment.

In their current form, BTC are slow to verify transactions and sometimes even when moving them around. They - owners and miners- need to decide on a viable path to make them more user friendly if they want them to go mainstream. If more use is to made using them some form of Directory needs to be established to see who 'accepts' them in the various countries?
Leaving them as a slow trading, safe instrument for investment and speculation will see volatility continue- been better lately though.
Decision time re forking status and block expansions need to be sorted now. Whichever, I believe they are and will be a good investment going forward.
Other Altcoins are showing real promise in the transaction and currency conversion markets and there are a few in the wings that are going to shake up the retail markets at SME level initially, with 'desirable' benefits for all participants ,,free!
There is no doubt that we live in interesting times and opportunities are many- always be wary and check them before rushing in spurred by hype!
Enjoy!
Not that they do not work well, bitcoin is the most powerful technology at the moment, which is hundreds of times faster than other supercomputers. However, bitcoin is becoming increasingly popular, with thousands of transactions occurring every day, and of course bitcoin prices are rising, people are reluctant to pay a high fee for transactions, They have reduced it to a minimum, which makes transactions slow, and when there are so many things, it gets clogged. It's a certain thing.

Hi friends,

As far as I know, bitcoin payments take a little time to approve. Will these approval times make it difficult to use bitcoin in our daily lives?
For example, I would get a coffee from Starbucks. Do I have to wait for approval to pay for what I have done for hours?
Bitcoin can definitely be used in daily life. You can even use a Bitcoin debit card if you really want.

The time to acknowledge transactions is something that we all know, so there is always a way to overcome such things, when we use bitcoin for everyday life, for sure. There will be a device capable of processing the deals immediately, I suppose the bitcoin payment cards are a good idea. If the bitcoin is really used in the life of your country, processing time is not a concern

Bitcoin payment cards are a crutch

Personally, I have nothing against them, though I don't use them myself and some folks may oppose them as sort of Bitcoin centralization. They are a crutch because Bitcoin payments can and should be made instant on their own without involving centralized entities like web wallets or whoever chooses to issue these cards. Other than that, spending bitcoins where you could easily spend "bad" money (i.e. fiat) is a big no-no for me. It's like paying with gold coin for buying just a box of matches

But bitcoin is a virtual money that is why centralized entities like web wallets is needed. So, if we could use it like the way how fiat works, then what is the difference between the two? The value? Yeah I guess, bitcoin would be still superior against fiat, but the anonymity of it will vanish if we could use it like fiat, don't you think.

That is why we do need this web wallets in order to maintain the advantages that bitcoin have, because it was made to be that for lifetime, and changing it would might result something bad.

Starbucks accepts bitcoins more then a year or two ( I wasn`t lazy here is the article https://news.bitcoin.com/starbucks-customers-can-now-choose-between-bitcoin-apple-pay/ from October 10, 2015 ) I also remember watching video on youtube where a guy is buying coffee in starbucks with bitcoins and in that moment offer was 25 % discount if you pay with bitcoins ( again I wasnt lazy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p5gIjwN6GN4 from Aug 25, 2015 ).
Bitcoin is used for daily needs, but not all of us live in nice countries. But that will come one day in every city on the world, bitcoin is spreading.

It doesn't mean that if you use bitcoin just like fiats and use it in daily basis it will not vanish its anonymity because your personal informations are still safe because in creating transaction with bitcoin, it doesn't require your name or any other personal information that might put you in risk. So if you want to use bitcoin as a fiat on a daily basis then it is still okay because you are still safe Grin.

My daily use of bitcoin is on trading usually, trades with altcoin buy and sell it. And currently I used bitcoin as mode of payment, sending payment to others which is fast transactions. Buying some stuff online I usually do with my bitcoin. These things really help me also which is hassle free.

But we should also admit that there are very few places at a moment where we can spend our bitcoins and the usage of bitcoin at physical places is almost zero and if you have to spend it at offline places then you have to convert it to fiat first to buy anything.

For now, I am slowly saving my bitcoin because I heard a lot of good news about it and I guess it will help me to gain from my investment.
As I heard in the news about japan's big adoption, it will certainly make an impact in the market and that is very huge.

Well, we are still going to look that, Japan's bitcoin adoption can't assure us that it will going to make an impact in the market, because there are still so many problem that bitcoin is experiencing right now, especially this hard fork and the other people which always saying that bitcoin's price would be going to a really low one because of this.

But this big whales are just spreading their own story about the bitcoin, because if the people will do panic selling, then they are the one who is going to be benefited about this when the bitcoin's price PUMP up again.
It's the biggest news I read, Japan will bring a good adoption with bitcoin that is why the price is increasing.
That is a great news that is why buying now and sell in a short period of time will guarantee profit since the price will surely increase more.

I don"t thing using bitcoin for our daily use is easy. Because it is not legal in many countries. We can not buy things from small shops with bitcoin. In present situation if we want to use bitcoin we have to change it to dollar or any other currency.
Yes for now we can't usr bitcoin in our daily life but till now i haven't heard any country banning the coin. Even though china is exception but if you notice japan has adopted it so we will soon see more countries adopting it if not maybe impose a tax but not a ban
if they can't stop the trend for sure they will do some action like imposing taxes instead of banning the system, japan is a well known established country if they already have integrated their system more well established country will follow especially those who's dealing with them.
