I also think if Dash manage at some point to really get massive mainstream adoption in Venezuela going (adoption in the form of a massive increase in transactions), that mainstream adoption could easily spread out to other Latin America countries who are experiencing the same market conditions as Venezuela.

This just shows some banks (mostly European banks) got the message at last : Adapt and stay alive or dont adapt and get left behind !

Its good to see banks are starting to feel the competition with cryptocurruncies (as well as feeling the increasing demand of a 24 hour business world, which simply demands faster payment deliveries) and are putting fundamental changes through.
This should also help with the Crypto-Fiat Gateways, making cash-outs from Crypto to Fiat and buy-ins from Fiat to Crypto a breeze. All in all this is just one of many signals that countries are moving towards cashless society's.

I remember buying Dash at the height of its very first bull market, and then witnessing and especially feeling the bearmarket and price decline that followed.
It just shows that after each pump will most likely follow a dump (also named "correction") and after each dump will most likely follow a pump (also named a "correction"),
as cryptocurrencies tend to move through a longterm cyclus of each.
