i just looked at the project and i dont think that this is scam
With monero and dash both enjoying a large price tag it is clear that deep onion will also go up. It might eventually be at a similar price as those 2 as they are also anonymous coins
Yeah, Dont worry about Deep onion, the coin has gone from 0 value to a peak of $3.60 in the space of 5 weeks of Airdrops.
There are still 35 left to go and as more members join these forums, more find out about this little gem.
That increases the amount of people who want them, as we cant sell more than 10% of the airdrop, the supply that can go outside those who have the sig is, 10% of the airdrop each week, minus those who have weak hands and sell all there Onion, never to get another Airdrop.
Look at Dash and Monero, both those coins are the same as Onion, a safety coin, and there prices have spiked tremendously in the last day.
Look back at this post in next year and have a little laugh to yourself now that your coins are $10+

I think I might have come across a bit stong on the gloom and doom. These coins are not going to send me out of house and home. I just look at it like reading a lot about basketball, and then jumping in to play, then on the first day you play you shoot the ball and instead of going in the hoop it hits your mother in the head and she goes into a coma and slowly passes away. It isn't a perfect analogy, but Simon Birch was not a perfect movie either.
I feel like a dummy right now, and I want to know if I am right too do so. I am new to trading on the market place, and got taken in by the hype for deeponion I saw on these boards. Obviously I did not have an old enough account to participate in the airdrops so I went ahead and purchased some onion. I went in 1 grand, and then the price plummeted. I am sitting with 400 deeponion coins, and terrified they may never rally again. What is the insight of the community on the probability this coin will ever hit 3 dollars again, or am I a dummy who learned a sobering lesson?

You're fine. I think $10 is very possible, there is a lot of interest around this project and the community is growing day by day.
Start staking those coins and join the community forum for more giveaways.
I like DeepOnion. The only coin I can see right now where many people are able to get in on it for the price of Sig. Camping. Has god dev team it looks like.

The best you have to do if you don't need this money (you shouldn't if you have read the 1st crypto rule "never invest what you can't afford to lose") is HODL.

Why not try to identity a non-hyped new coin different to all the other shitcoins where you can get hundreds for pennys on the dollar? I missed the boat, but coins such as IOTA are fundamentally different from all the other ICOs in that it offered an entirely new tech, something innovative, and if you got in early.. well, you'd be rich now already. I won't bother with IOTA personally since I missed that boat, but check out its original thread. The key is to find similar ICOs like that one. Truly innovative and interesting stuff.
I'm trying to find similar patterns in other ICOs.. small guys with brilliant and passionate ideas who might not have much of an idea about crypto, but that have accumulated vast life experience both personally and in business that take a punt here. Obviously they don't advertisie it properly (thus making the coins cheap). That's the sort of coin that will do the x10,000 or whatever and recoup your losses in onions and other poor investent decisions. But you gotta be careful because you'll get burnt 99% of the time it seems (I'm new to this too). But that 1% legit, unhyped, unheard of coin that you can get in very, very early.. that is different from all the others, offers something original.. well.. you never know.
