There is always a exploit in new technology/algorithmen. Especially if you just clone the source code without understanding it.

Well whatever the case may be, he declares in PM that it is a coin killer and about 18 minutes later declares publicly that it is mostly no big deal.

Even if the exploit were to be used, it's almost like a zero day where it would be one use and quickly discovered and permanently fixed.
