This article contains many false statements.
1. This coin was not like Whitecoin or Asiacoin.
- Asiacoin had a hidden premine, Shibe did not.
- Whitecoin POS code was missing entirely, whereas Shibe did have POS working for many people
2. Shibecoin is not a ripoff of DogeCoin. It is not even a clone since DogeCoin is POW whereas Shibe is POS. Ok it's based on the same Meme
3. I cannot confirm what the premine was but I think it is only 1.5 million. Dev may have bought/mined more himself but then they are his coins
4. Although there were/are legitimate issues with the POS code, this coin has been under constant attack both in the POW phase and POS.
5. Dev is still active in IRC. He is on there all the time
I look forward to a revival of this coin, and am prepared to wait it out. Let's hope dev team and other shibecoin peeps do the same and then we cannot lose.
