1. Is the coin burning reflected in total coins number shown by Coinmarketcap.com?

im 99.9% sure that the burnt coins will still show in the total as shown on coinmarketcap

Any burnt coins will still appear in the total coins as they are still part of the network. No one will have access to them so they just sit there and do nothing except look odd on the block explorer.

Thats sounds completely logical, but if that is the case, how the coin count could be 99,388 DCR (as shown on Coinmarketcap) then? The number of coins sold was 100,000 DCR, so the number of coins currently cannot be less, unless the burned coins are subtracted. I supposed maybe the Coinmarketcap is informed about the burn address (as this is a common practice now to have such addresses), and maybe they show the total number of coins with that wallet subtracted..?

yeah your right , while on here,http://104.207.130.85:3001/, its 100767 !  it would almost be correct subtracting the burnt coins. Strange!!

I guess it could be possible for coin market cap to ignore specific address parameters. Have no idea myself, just thinking out loud.

Please note that amount of DCR burned per day is NOT a constant value. It all depends on pool luck and revenue generated from mining services. We may experience low revenue, on one day, and a peak on another day.

Does one have to ask the same question three times to get an answer? Angry Or maybe even three times is not enough? I am not lazy, can keep asking it every day, if you like so.. I have even removed the rest of the questions, to make reading and understanding even easier Roll Eyes

Which explorer is used by Coinmarketcap? Does any of the explorers work? Seems not. Would be nice to fix them, otherwise this becomes not transparent at all.

Seriously, Dev, you don't seem to care at all about community questions, or you have something to hide? Hope not. I hope you are just busy, but it would be nice to spend those 5 minutes to read and answer.

has yobit updated there wallet yet(just wondering pretty sure yobit did though) , I think some of the people with larger amounts of coins haven't switched over to the new wallet yet...

YoBit has updated their wallet.
ya kinda figured yobit would have updated it already... wasn't sure though, do you know if  babur and masterchangz updated their wallets?

my stakes are considerably smaller too now. Block explorer just not caught up or on wrong chain still? im on block 3922 now

3922 here too.
my stakes are also alot smaller ever since the hardfork at 3000, but the explorer still shows larger stakes being made?
im assuming it is just the explorer that's messed up but im not sure...

Coinmarketcap shows the available supply as "99,373 DCR". Yesterday it was a bit less. Sometimes I see this number decreases, sometimes it increases. But it always stayed in the range of 99,000-100,000 DCR.

So my questions are:
1. Is the coin burning reflected in this number shown by Coinmarketcap.com?

2a. If it is not reflected, then how that number could decrease? I definitely saw it decreased sometimes. On regular coins it can only increase.
2b. If it is reflected, then why the number does not decrease all the time? PoS is supposed to be slow, so it cannot outweigh burning...

Dev, please shed some light on this, and this is confusing.
Pos was producing a little bit more coins before block 3000, and therefore it might be actually right.

We have passed the block 3000, so the PoS rate should be low. But still today I see http://coinmarketcap.com showing 99,388 DCR: more than few days ago... So the number of coins increases instead of decreasing???!!

Gladimor, I still wait for you explanation to my post above. Is the PoS rate wrong again, or the number shown by cmarketcap is wrong?

I am not FUD-ing, just want to understand, as this is bothering me a bit.

If you are just a couple of blocks behind another wallet it's alright, problems start to appear when the block difference becomes hundreds.
