alas the UK Fraud Squad said there was not enough evidence now.

Nothing will happen if no one files a complaint. That means hiring a lawyer etc...

But at least, he must be somehow on watch...

Where did Action Fraud announce this? Did they respond to an individual who posted a fraud report? I'm still waiting to hear from them.

What else can be done, if Action Fraud claim they don't have enough evidence?

Rogue PR dude strikes again:

https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/being-hated-jawad-yaqub

vs.

http://www.esquire.com/news-politics/news/a1532/esq0404-apr-america/

I predict that DeOS' new PR dude is also about to be canned. Yaqub, your welcome for thanking us in bringing this to light. We's doin' our bestest in makin' sure that da venerable DeOS stays da venerable.

JAWAD 38:55 : "I have literally got millions of pounds, more money than I have ever had in my entire life.

Me's not good at converting pounds (or stone weight, for that matter) to USD, so please let me know if literally millions of pounds is more that $10M USD.

There's been a surge in demand for Enterprise BitCoin services recently in our company.

Most notably this week we saw a transfer for over $10,000,000 into the eco-system through channels in our International division.

Have you folks come across any major enterprises embracing BitCoin in this way?

They make noises but it looks like the mainstream market is wary of showing open support for BTC atm. Curse Mark Kerpeles and all who think him 'CEO of BitCoin'

... aaand he's gone (he blocked me on Twitter). Guess that he and Jawad indeed has something in common. Maybe he still remembers my posts (which came AFTER the red flags in RZR): https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.10483732

EDIT: Here is what I think of him: https://twitter.com/FAILCommunity/status/789514179891822592

Of course I blocked you.  You are a prime example of the very toxicity that so many have noticed plagues this industry.

You think you're wise, but you're not.  You think you know what's going on, but you proved you don't with your own words.  You're a troll with a twitter feed.

I have no further time to invest in your fantasies.  I'm glad for this opportunity to drag all this out into the open.

DeOS and FAILCommunity deserve each other.

Bryce Weiner: "I was told by my attorney that I should no longer participate with the project and so I stopped."

Bryce Weiner's lawyer: "Bryce, you have no idea what's going on, thus I advise you to stop. Please remit to me my standard $400 USD fee for this hour of service I just provided you."

So, the scammer may split collected BTC to two streams that 1) routed to Antshares ICO 2) routed to Jawad wallet.

is this the case?

No, it is more likely that the address posted by 'Rippleme' was incorrectly identified as Razormind's when it was actually the Antshares escrow.

'rippleme' said he had traced the payments made by his friends, but he also didn't know that a bitcoin address beginning with 3 denotes a multisig address, so it suggests he is not overly familiar with the blockchain.

Either that or his post was an intentional 'red herring' to mislead us.

Given some of the evidence coming to light back here it would not surprise me.

Totally screwed up on that. I was given that info, searched on here and found this thread and thought I'd share the info.
I HATE SCAMMERS and in this space there are plenty. When one or more are found they need to be exposed!
I had confidence one of you guys could do more research than me, as cryptodevil says I'm not technical nor an expert.

So I checked in with my friends (2 cousins and not so sharp) after seeing the few pages of comments since last time I posted, and literally told them WTF have you given me?
One of them said they got confused as they did participate in the Antshares sale, but mentioned something went wrong there too but it was their fault... Didn't quite get it...
Long story short I asked for the DEOS TX Ids, but they are away right now on holiday... It wasn't much money they can't be bothered.

If I manage to get hold of the TX Ids I'd definitely come back to post them.
Apologies if I have wasted your time. As a community member I appreciate the time you guys spend looking into and exposing scammers!

Hey guys, good to see this thread.

I have a couple of friends who have been burned by the DEOS SCAM, they sent small transactions and the team answered they are not going to give them tokens because they are dust... They also stopped writing back. How odd. There was no mention of that at the beginning of the crowdfund but the page kept on changing over time where new rules applied. I hope someone here has kept copies and screenshots of the pages.

Timeline:

- My two friends got burned. Here are the addresses.
- My two friends quit replying to me. ODD!
- My two friends are my cousins. They got confused, hence the wrong addresses
- My two friends are now on holiday (unless they or I am mistaken).
- My two cousin friends got scammed and wanted me to look into it, but now it's not much money and don't want to be bothered with the details.

MY TAKE: There sure as fuck seems to be a lot of misinformation on this DeOS scam.

1. Razormind/DeOS is an MI5 operation
OR
2. Razormind/DeOS is not an MI5 operation

2.1: Razormind is a terrorist organization attempting to raise money and using this fake address as a "fuck you" to MI5.

Maybe somebody should contact the base and let them know what is going on.

Me so sad! Me first thought that me was originator of the terrorist scheme.  Cry

@FAILCommunity
Are you guys telling me this actually made 6,000 BTC?

Nope, 6129 (or 6139?). Smiley

This blows my mind, is it possible they inflate the wallet so when people invest it looks like legit? The wallet being funded by previous scams? It just seems amazing to me that something this stupid looking could part people of 6000+ BTC.

Well, I personally suspect that they are a lot less and some fake transactions were made, but I never bothered to check that since Razormind screams scam right from the start. Smiley

Expanding on cryptodevils post: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.16569396

https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2015/aug/14/explosion-mi5-headquarters-northern-ireland-police-investigate

Quote
Police confirmed they were investigating an explosion inside Palace Barracks in Holywood, Co Down. The base on the eastern edge of Belfast is home to British army regiments as well as an important regional centre for the security services.

...

The Guardian understands that the explosion went off 200m from the door to the MI5 compound. As well as housing up to 1,000 MI5 operatives, Palace Barracks is home to the Royal Scots Borderers of the Royal Regiment of Scotland who have been stationed there since August 2014.

You tell me how a white-hating, Jew-hating, brown-ass lying piece of shit Muslim is able to have a flat within this highly secure gated community, Jawad Yaqub's home literally walking distance from a police station also located on Clive Rd (Clive Road).

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palace_Barracks,_Holywood

Quote
Palace Barracks has been the Regimental Headquarters of the Royal Irish Regiment since 2008 and the home base of several squadrons of the 152 (North Irish) Regiment RLC. In March 2010, it was the site of a bombing, one of several attacks carried out by "hardline Republicans" in 2010; other attacks included the Newry car bombing. Since 2014 it has been the base for the The Royal Scots Borderers, 1st Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland.

In 2006, Arousa Yaqub (most likely Jawad's sister since he's on record stating that he wasn't married at the time) used 55 Clive Rd as her mailing address for a woman's charity concern: https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/officers/M6rHINYwO3T0wJ2O9VZxCKI41lY/appointments

PDF Link from --> https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/NI050558/filing-history?page=3

My take is that either Jawad Yaqub lied about the mailing address, simply using an old address where at least one member of the Yaqud clad once resided, or MI5 figured out a way to finance its covert operations.

Which is why we are left scratching our head wondering what a practising New York Doctor is doing allowing his name to be used to present him as something he is not for a company which has a proven history of presenting itself as something it is not and which just collected several million dollars in bitcoin through a fraudulent 'crowdsale'.

From the desk of Brother, can you spare a few satoshis or: Brother, you up for a new token scam to fleece the cryptocurrency community?

There is something aweing about it. We are one Ummah, we are bound together. When Muslims in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Kashmir, Chechnya, and Indonesia suffer, we feel their pain. I found myself sobbing at a total stranger's funeral, though I doubt I ever met him before and there was no eulogy on him. I've spent hours on the phone counseling my brothers, although we are not related by family. That's something I still can't describe in words, the Ummah is a family, perhaps even stronger than a blood one. My brothers earnestly care for me, and I love them as much as or more than family, despite being the only son in my family.

We are Ummah!

Watch out! He has two belts above black belt in Aikido!

That'd make him a Dan-Dan.

How far back does the relationship between James Ferguson (became a doctor after being inspired upon meeting the real Patch Adams) and Jawad Yaqub go, you ask?

I'd say prior to April Fools Day, 2003: http://everything2.com/user/mr100percent/writeups/Paradoxes+of+Islamic+Fundamentalism

Quote
Islam isn't bad, it's just that you've only seen one side to it. Untold millions of Good Muslims are all over this planet, but you only hear about the one or two bad apples. Catholics griped over the same thing when scandals involving priests caused only negative coverage of the Vatican and some say Catholicism itself. I myself am a Muslim, and what the extremists do sicken me. I know better than to blame my religion for what was committed, because I have about as much in common with them as I do with Jack the Ripper (thanks Jaez for the allusion). Islam rejects violence except as a last resort and for self defense. Completely. Totally.

My takeaway: Jack the Ripper isn't bad, it's just that you've only seen one side of him. Wait till you get to meet Jack's sister. Rumor has it she'll eat your heart out. But hey, that's only one side of her.
