Everyone interested to see the video of the sparring between Tank Davis and Devin Haney?

Ryan leaked it here: https://twitter.com/RyanGarcia/status/1763400539663122553

As you can see, Tank got the better of Haney here, even rocking Devin and Tank looks absolutely a monster in this sparring.

But as they say, this is just a sparring and perhaps Haney has improved a lot already. But who knows,  Grin

Doesn't really says anything though, Haney says that he is like 16 years old in this sparring match but the did take it and hold his ground against Tank Davis. However, if Ryan is the one who leaks this video then it's going to be personal for the Haney's here. The Garcia's has been on the attack, even his Father says that Bill is nappy or something. I don't know what it means but it sounds derogatory remarks or some racists s**t? And them releasing the video doesn't change anything as Ryan is still a huge underdog. And as I have said, it might make Haney really mad and so he will be motivated to knock Ryan out again similar to what Tank did to him, q-u-i-t.
Tank Davis is 29 years right now, and Devin Haney is 25 years old. If this fight happens when Devin Haney is 17, then Tank could be 21 that time and obviously has a lot more experience and that's why he looks absolutely gonna knockout Haney in that sparring. But the video shows none of that, he just got the better of Haney, bust him maybe with his upper cut and if you look at the body of Tank, it's build it the way it is right now while Haney looks skinny and maybe at the start of his career at 135 lbs and so he is too green during this sparring. Every fight is full of trash talk though, racist sometimes but at the end of the day, this is how fights are being promoted even in the time of the GOAT himself, Muhammad Ali.

They had a second face-off yesterday in New York and as expected Ryan is very aggressive, Haney is just cool, he knows he's the favorite he knows Ryan has a lot of envy in what he has achieved, Ryan on this face-off tries to involve the elder Haney but it seems this time the father and son tandem is just cool.

In this video, Bernard Hopkins, one of Ryan's promoters is giving the elder Haney a shard look while the two are having their thrash talk, Ryan is full of anger I have never seen him this angry, he was not like this on Gervonta, it's good that he did not push Devin Haney, there's a lot to watch out for in this fight, a lot of dramas and a lot thrash talking.

Who is that guy behind Ryan Garcia? Is that LeBron James? LOL...

Nah, probably one of his body guards. Lol.  Grin
Yeah I know I was just kidding. he does look like Lebron a first look. LOL.

Ryan knows how to sell this fight; that's all I can say. We all know that Haney is the better fighter here, so him trying to be aggressive during face-off does not guarantee that he'll be aggressive too during the fight. Well, I think he should be because Haney will just roll with his defense and score. If he does not put pressure on Haney, the fight will end up being boring, and he doesn't have a chance to win as it could be another UD by Haney.

Sure, but the thing with Ryan is that he says differently, I mean he tell us that he is looking to cement his legacy or at least make one. But we all know that this is just a whole act in front of the camera. His persona might be very different in public. And fans love him for that, the trash talking and the Haney's too, Bill Haney though is funny with his attack on Ryan's Dad that I don't think they will consider it personal although Haney says that he like Ryan before, but now it's going to be personal for him as well.
I can only point out his ability to sell the fight, as his fight with Tank Davis resulted in success. So, I wouldn't be surprised if they'll generate a huge amount of revenue, especially in PPV. Ryan is living his character; fans like or hate him, it doesn't matter to him as long as people will watch his fight, and in the end, he'll again get a good paycheck. Some fighters, after losing in a championship fight, struggle to come back, but it seems so easy for Ryan; that's because promoters want him.

^^ If I'm not mistaken, Haney could have the advantage if the fight is going to be in Vegas. But regardless though, it could have been the capacity of the venue that why they move it to New York. And I think their fans are going to travel as Garcia's fanbase is LA. Seen some footage of Ryan Garcia in Twitter, fast hands, but it's just a matter on whether he can executed it against the defense of Haney. And at 140 lbs, both could be in the best shape of their lives as they will be no problems with weight management specially with Ryan as he had problems with 135 lbs when he fought Tank Davis. But against Duarte, we can see that his body is build like a natural jr. welterweight.

Both are from LA but Haney is residing in Vegas so maybe it is an advantage for him if the fight is held there. But I think Ryan is banking on Vegas for the expensive ticket sales. The venue will be smaller in Vegas but it is expected to be more expensive which is why it can generate more money than the other venues.

It's not that hard to look good in training. Even none pros can be good in videos too. Ryan did not looked fast in his last fight at 140. But we'll see if there are improvements. What is clear though is Haney looks good, not in training but in his last fight against an experienced 2 time champion.

Definitely no question about the conditioning of Haney, as he always comes out on top in his fights. Ryan Garcia should be the concern here because even though he won his last fight, he wasn't really dominating his opponent from the very start. I was a bit nervous watching that fight, thinking that Ryan might lose. Good thing he was able to develop a new defensive strategy while still keeping his power. But honestly, I'm not sure if his strategy will work against Haney or if he can make the right adjustments to win.

Ryan has a history of mental breakdown before and that's why he quit for a while before making a comeback and taking a new trainer in Goosen. However, when he lost to Tank Davis, the switches again, this time he is under the tutelage of Derrick James who trains Errol Spence and a bunch of others.

Haney could use Ryan's weakness to his advantage. I hope he'll do some trash-talking too so Ryan will be distracted going into the fight. Well, as for technique and skills, the edge all points to Haney, so there's no reason here to take a higher risk by betting on Ryan when we know he will not win. The choices here would only go down as to whether Ryan will be knocked out or will lose in 12 rounds. I think the last option is more likely to be the scenario.

I don’t know anything about Devin Haney, but Ryan Garcia seems more and more cringe in every clip I see of him. I think for that reason I’m probably going to go with Haney to win this fight. I think the Tank fight broke Ryan Garcia mentally. I wouldn’t put money behind him vs anyone until he gets another win under his belt.

It's just typical for Ryan Garcia to act this way, he has tweet about his wife fighting as well, and he says that they should pay here a minimum $500,000 LOL. Yes, Haney is the huge favorite here so it make sense for smart bettors to go for him. ML is not that attracted though, but there are a lot options that can give us a good return if we go on Haney here.

There were even post yesterday that Ryan is somewhat smoking or high, and so that's another cringe moment for you. And Devin Haney says that he won't show up to the press kick off presser because Ryan is just wasting his time. But the did show up and we have a entertaining press conference when Ryan goes up with 3 girls, even Oscar was laughing and when it's time for his mouth to open, he says that he is serious and talks about God, Lol, talking about being high. He is a huge underdog here, if he loses this one, he will be 0-2 amongst his contemporaries, and I don't know if he can get a belt at this weight class. Maybe not against Haney or Teo Lopez, perhaps Rolly he has a chance or even against a tough Subriel Matias.

How time flies, we are now in the Kick-off conference, so much for Las Vegas venue, it's going to happen in NYC and Ryan has no problem with it.

So it's really on, we might here more trash talking, as Oscar said, "still" or a "new" champion in April 20th. Just a question on who wanted it more.

Haney said that this is personal now, specially if it involves religion. And then Bill Haney involves Floyd, as he claim that he Floyd shows the sparring session with Devin Haney and then they suspect that him and Floyd are giving him tips on how to beat Devin.

And as expected, Bill Haney and Ryan's dad, Henry Garcia is also doing the promotion.  Grin

If this is a done deal, meaning Ryan Garcia had sign the contract, then he can't just simply back out from the plans of his promoter and Haney's camp. That will be unprofessional for him. I'm just thinking that maybe he can squeeze more money if the fight is going to happen in Las Vegas.

If Ryan had signed the contract and back down, he might face some penalties for the damages done of him backing out.  I don't think Ryan would like to pay some penalties when he himself is looking for money after he lost his fortune on gambling (as the earlier reply stated).

I know that both Haney and Garcia are somewhat similar in height, but this is going to be a great fight for the WBC super lightweight title. Haney might have an advantage with the number of matches but the percentage of knockouts by Garcia is a lot more, IMO it can be with Garcia's advantage. We will never know until it happens.

Haney has the advantage, IMO, just look at their body mass after the rehydration, I do not think that the opponent KO ratio is definitive for the fight against Haney, Haney is a tough one to crack especially his defence and counterpunches.  If I am not mistaken, Ryan has this tendency to become reckless when pursuing a KO, and that might be the biggest disadvantage of Ryan Garcia in this fight.

I saw an interview with Ryan Garcia today where he was saying he wants to fight Suga Sean O'Malley.  He claims he'd easily knock him out in boxing (maybe true) and wants to challenge himself by fighting Suga Sean in MMA.  I think this must just be some sort of a PR move to try and build up some hype around his next fight or something.  I don't think there's a chance in hell that Ryan Garcia could knock out Suga Sean in the octagon, but I'd sure like to see him try.  This is the sort of crossover fight the sports need.

I think if I'm not mistaken, O'Malley was the first one to call up Ryan or something to the effect that he can defeat a pro boxer. O'Malley is going on the route of Connor, running his mouth and trying to be the next face of MMA.

And with that, Ryan will not shy on that kind of trash talking in the media, he has been dub as a social media King Ry. But in any case, he has a difficult fight ahead of him in Haney. He needs to focus on this fight if he wanted to have his name in the discussions to be one of the great not just known to be in a social media boxer.

nothing yet is agreed for both to fight. if Dana permits, i guess it's cool to see another cross-fight like this. Dana already wasted his chance with Francis Ngannou, hope he will not miss it this time.

Ryan i think will have a higher rate of knocking out Suga than Haney. Omalley afaik likes to engage which is what Ryan likes doing in the middle. he will be unlucky once again if Sean gets him first just like Tank did. Ryan still has a fast hand and all it takes is just one hit to Suga.

And with this, he is going to be troll by the fans of Haney as if he is like doesn't want to fight or afraid of facing Haney now. And I'm not sure why Ryan Garcia is talking about business when his job is to fight and bet the opponent in front of him. Let his promoter do their job, he says he wanted to fight the best Oscar gave him that opportunity for now and for sure there is big money in the table for him. So that is good enough for him and he should stop and just train very hard here because he is in for a tough night against Haney here. No need for Ryan to worry the venue, he will have his guaranteed purse for sure when he sign the contract to fight Haney.
