Canceled my task for this fight I'm more interested to see if this is Ryan's act or if he is breaking down because of the pressure, yeah I know that Ryan is a huge underdog here but he makes it appear because of the interviews, and actions that he has a huge surprise to show to everyone.

After this fight whoever wins the match deserves a good analysis of what went right and what went wrong for both fighters.

Analysis and indications show that Haney is likely to win a fight but since there's no rehydration clause like on Garcia's first loss, we will see Ryan at his best, he may pull a huge upset and he will have that last laugh.
This fight will be a road for each other's path to greatness

Anyway, the long wait is over, the fight will be tomorrow, so guys if you haven't place your bet yet, you should now.

One last look on the betting odds before the big fight tomorrow.

Haney 1.13 vs R. Garcia 7.20.
https://duelbits.com/sportsbook/boxing/match/47663499-Haney-Devin-vs-Garcia-Ryan

Great opportunity for bettors of Ryan Garcia, that x7.20 odds is definitely very attractive.
Haney hasn't loss a fight and his wins are so impressive, now we have Ryan on his way who talks a lot on social media just to get attention, if we think he can give Haney some real problem here, i think this 7.20 should be a lock.

I feel that it will the same result when Ryan Garcia beaten by Tank badly. Ryan is a hood boxer but he is always no match to boxers that can absorb his punch since he is just relying on his punch speed while it's power is not that destructive.

I think the odds result is due their previous matches and the outcomes since Haney recent matches is all ended on a convincing way plus he is really capable to beat this struggling Ryan Garcia.

For me, winner will be Haney on less than 5 rounds. That 7.2 odds only show how one sided this match will gonna be.

After complaining that the rehydration clause in the Tank Davis fight was unfair, Ryan is the one now looking to gain an advantage by coming in overweight. He probably realizes that he is badly outmatched and is hoping this will give him some kind of edge over Haney.

People have been saying that Garcia's erratic behavior is just an act, but we must remember that he already took a long break from boxing because of mental health problems. Just because he seemed fine the past few years doesn’t mean he had overcome those problems.

He looks totally messed up rather than just acting I just cannot understand why a guy who utters dirty words from his mouth is the same guy who praises Jesus afterward, Derrick is having a hard time guiding Ryan Garcia, even his father and his promoters, he is totally out of control.

I wonder what his mental health is after Haney beats him, Ryan Garcia is one guy who cannot handle fame there's too much social media in him that he cannot handle, there will be a lot of analysis after this fight and it will be more on Ryan Garcia's mental states and attitude.

The future looks bleak for Ryan if he loses this match and even if he wins he needs to reinvent himself and learn how to be sober, this is the first I saw a guy drinking beer on his weigh-in, a totally wrecked guy.

He even had a beer during the weigh-in? Not be the first time that we have seen something out of the ordinary, but that was really off the chart for Ryan. And I do agree, he knows that he will come over the weight limit and is willing to play that huge amount of compensation to Devin Haney.

But the boxing community is still divided, I hear Roy Jones interview saying that Ryan is fully aware of what is he is doing, but he did it to sell the fights. I was one on of those who belief that even if Ryan losses this one, he can still go back and sell fights. But not this kind of promotion though, and then they have to question is mental health again and again to the point that maybe Ryan is really faking it when he announce before that he has issues.

Definitely true, he know what's it at stake in this fight so he is not gonna do things that he can't control. I'm pretty sure what we saw during the weigh in was all drama, it was reported earlier that this fight is not selling tickets as expected, so that was their last shot to market the fight and they want people to talk about it, and just like what they wanted to happen, here we are talking about what happened.

Anyway, the long wait is over, the fight will be tomorrow, so guys if you haven't place your bet yet, you should now.

I didn’t watch the weigh in but Devin Haney tweeted that Ryan Garcia didn’t make weight… I guess he missed it by 3 pounds! That’s insane. Ryan hasn’t taken anything about this fight from the beginning. Now it looks like it might not even happen. Bummer. I needed Ryan to lose as the last leg in a long parlay…

Ryan Garcia will lose because missing weight implies that he did not train very seriously. This might also be the fault of his trainer Derrick James. I speculate that after Errol Spence left him, Derrick James might be looking for a quick profit similar to an altcoin pump and dump hehehehhe. I predict Ryan Garcia and Derrick James to separate after Ryan's knockout loss tomorrow.

Crazy turn of events, do the camp of Ryan knows before hand that he will be over the allowed weight in this fight? We would understand if it's only like 1 pound, but it's huge 3 pound is big and with this kind of huge fight, fighters should be really looking at their weight, or at least their trainer is on top of it. Part of the blame should be in the shoulders of Derrick James too, in my opinion.

So if Ryan losses, will be used that he was overweight in this fight as one reasons why he was knockout? Lol.

Or he did this intentionally so he will be the bigger guy come fight night and have the advantage?

In any case, fight is still on. I have this fight under 10.5.

If Garcia's camp is really prepared for this fight, they should have not overlooked Ryan's weight. They perfectly know there's a weigh in before the fight, so why not do what they can to comply with the weight requirements? They may really have something in mind, a good reason to say, if they will lose that Ryan is overweight and other alibis.

This being overweight in this division cost him $1.5M, so why did Ryan's camp failed to observe the weight requirements? He has a lot of people surrounding him, and yet, a simple weight measurements has been missed. I don't think they have sincere plan for this fight though. Just my opinion.

Oh well, at least they will allow this fight to still push through even though Ryan Garcia has missed weight. And Bill Haney as I have read in several tweets, say that there is a stipulation that Ryan Garcia "wanting to embrace different movements.” Not sure what Bill means by that.

And it was also said that Ryan has paid the $1.5 as agreed upon and Ryan said that he will get back that money and Haney should also promise that he will fight in the middle of the year as he said in the press conference.

Bill Haney and Bernard Hopkins is also getting into the mix in the weigh-in, LOL.

Not sure what Hopkins said, because prior to that, Oscar and Bill is cool although you can see the Bill is saying something and perhaps Bernard hear it and just reacted to it. But everything has been set, they have promoted  the fight specially Ryan with his antics in public and his public tweets.

Now, they will go out in less than 24 hours, and as Ryan said, hope that the fight is going to happen in the middle and Haney will engage.

And speaking of Bernard, he is not done yet, https://www.youtube.com/shorts/PX3J7dGC49w

It's still going to happen the fight and Ryan now owes Haney money for the bet of not making the weigh, now the icing on the cake of this Ryan Garcia show is him getting knocked out by Haney.

Ryan missed another opportunity to win a title, he missed it against Tank, not he is going to miss it again and it seems Ryan because of his antic may never win a World Title

According to longtime boxing reporter Dan Rafael, the two sides did reach a financial agreement to move ahead with the fight. A Golden Boy spokesperson said that the two reached an agreement and that Garcia would honor the handshake deal made at the press conference.

They are still negotiating to make the fight happen and it seems he is not eligible to fight for the title since he and Haney had a bet of $500k per pound Ryan is going to lose $1.5 million if I'm not mistaken.
We are all surprised by this development, after all the talks and all the dramas Ryan blew it all up, and he is even bragging that he can make the weight and beat Haney in round 2.

I guess Ryan don't want this fight to happen, if he is really that serious he should check and watch his weight from time to time to make the fight happen.

And it still going to happen though, Ryan will have to pay $1.5 million as he missed the weight. True though, it looks like Haney knows that Ryan is not going to make the weight and that's what he said during the press conference.

So let's see tomorrow, there will be no belts on the line as far as the latest news goes, but this is like the first time that Ryan didn't make the weight in his pro career? In the Tank Davis fight a couple of fights ago, he did make the contractual weight and rehydration clause. But in this fight, it's totally different.

Do not be tricked by this boycott. This is only part of another marketing roadmap that they use to make more people more curious for this fight hehehe. I reckon that after King Ry's loss against Tank Davis, he needed to create a new personality for himself to make the fans react and talk about Ryan. This boycott implies that it is working! I very much wish Ryan will reach the decision and make the fight a split decision. This will certainly make fans question the capability of Devin Haney.

nice catch @bbc.reporter ... that's just certainly a marketing strategy.. why would someone wants it boycotted when it's not even selling well? They just want that fight to gain more attention so the tickets will be sold. This will be happening few days from now, so that could be a desperate marketing strat from their promoters. Anyway, we don't need to wait longer, the outcome of this fight will dictate the future of Ryan, because if he loss, he'll go back again and will try to create another hype until his strategy will not work.
Of course, but if this guy part of their marketing ploy? If you have followed him on Twitter, he is a obvious troll and everyone including Crawford was responding to Ray Jackson. But as far as the tickets goes, we will see, Oscar again is saying otherwise in the press conference and tell us that almost all tickets have been sold except for a few. Anyhow, we are almost here now, despite the trash talk, the lack of selling sales and other way they promoted this fight, still boils down to this two inside the ring. Both are very confident but Garcia is still a huge betting underdog.

Until the last days before the fight, well we still have the weigh-in It is full of drama and controversy Ryan is full of the hype I have never seen him so hype he is forcing himself and wants to be in the spotlight always on everything he does, the weigh-in I'm sure will be full of drama that will end all drama Ryan created so its something worth waiting.

If Ryan is like this before the fight where he is super hype, what, more on the actual fight we will be disappointed if Ryan cannot walk his talk he is just acting like this is an easy fight, that he is in excellent condition and he is strong than Haney, he talks proudly about knocking out Haney in round two so let's see if he is going to shock the world or he will be shocked to see how good Haney is

And this is what Haney says on why he push Ryan prior to the press conference,

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/hV-3usSN4z4

Like any other trash talker, he brought up something that is dear to everyone's heart like a mother or a wife. And so I think Ryan has crossed the line and usually this boxers are going to make the fight personal. I remember Mayorga vs Dela Hoya, Mayorga was a trash talker and he like Ryan cross the line when he talk about Oscar's wife and him being a "Maricon". And so Oscar knock him down in that fight, round 9 or 10 if I still remember it correctly. So maybe in this fight, Haney will really look for a knockout.
