Yea actually looks dodgy but if a dev can easily contact them to find solution to their wallet issue then good

i think its dodgy....why is it that all the other exchanges that offer DGC trading ....I can log in right now and generate a new address for DGC?

this is the message i got from btc38 submitted ticket to support!

"  service staff 可儿: I am sorry, DGC wallet we can not fix, need DGC official administrator to help us repair the wallet, please later.

about this ticket, you feel: good | ordinary | bad  "

Bad 100%

its open source  code ... can't be that hard to fix without DEV support and why is it that Novaexchange recent listing of DGC for trading with no problems ?

the only conclusion i  come up with is that the admin of this site is happy to leave like that ... and that only one person/group is adding this coin to their exchange.

DGC on BTC38 is CNY buy only coin

I trade sometimes at btc38 yes they are lacking with some wallets being off but most wallets are working, similar situation occured for other coins but solution was found when devs contact them and their wallets where fixed, same should happen to dgc to avoid massive dump should there be a delisting, btc38 is very important for DGC

Have you found the Yellow Sign?
If a big exchange like btc38 drops support for dgc the value would be wiped out, so its very important for devs to make sure wallets and network work correcty

I've just created an account on BTC38 a few moments ago.....  I think you got it all wrong buddy... that's a dodgy site ....most of the coins listed you can only exchange for CNY and half the coins on the exchange are the same as DGC -just hangs when you try create an address.

BTC38 is a rubbish exchange

I've been wondering if it was a real thing or not. Does anyone know if they can even actually transfer coins to btc38 or what?

IF a coin is good...then their is no need for DEV interaction.... this coin is much more fairly distributed then most coins.... its a coin designed for the home user and that's why i love it. Its impractical to use huge amount of hashing power to mine this coin as the difficulty setting gets harder as the network hashing power increase's keeping corporate miners away....after all where is the developer for BTC?
My advise is to stop looking for the developer and start looking at the value of the coin....and with mining equipment getting faster and cheaper to operate its most diffidently a good coin to mine as a home user and a great coin to invest in as a trader.

the facts don't lie....when i started mining and trading this coin in 2014 ...its value was less the 0.01USD and today its value 0.22USD

Have you found the Yellow Sign?
DGC on BTC38 is 22 cents a coin. With over 1 million dollars equivalent volume.

Will this carry over once BTC38 wallet is fixed, or will it dump? I wonder. I'm buying some DGC on cryptopia just in case.
if the wallet issue isnt fixed dgc might be delisted soon

I'll see what I can do to make a windows executable. Compiling usually breaks down for me since I busted up my headers somehow a while back and never learned how to fix it as I'm not really a programmer.

edit: I tried to compile the source but I'm getting all sorts of errors with the libraries being used. I'll see if I can get someone to look at it

Whoever is able to compile wallet executables for Windows and submit pull requests with any changes that were required, I'll provide minimum 100 SRC bounty.

Hi, Baritus! I really don't want DGC to fade out and want to help.
I've got a programming experience, but never tried to compile linux sources to Windows platform.
I would like to try to do it if you give me at least a basic instructions in which way to look for. It may be just a link to the article or something similar.

1. The sources are system-neutral. The problem is that windows guys do not know how to compile under windows or the compilation there is a really hard thing.
2. There is a possibility to cross-compile, using linux tools to produce binaries for windows or mac. I keep trying to do this using this instruction, with some modifications:
https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/blob/master/doc/build-windows.md

I had to download the qt 5.2 sources manually, then build manually windows versions of zlib, lpng and some other things.
I can't test these builds as a have no access to windows machine, but I believe libraries are ok.
Unfortunately it seems the newest versions of those libraries are incompatible with DGC sources, that are pretty old, based on 0.9 bitcoin version or so.
I keep trying with older versions now but I can't repeat these experiments everyday and I also have to avoid version that are compromised in the terms of security.

Probably soon be delisted on BTC38 (95% of the DGC volume exhange)

I am still holding my DGC since 2014 and hoping DGC won't be dropped. I loved it when we had an active DGC community back then, but I can understand that it is exhausting to maintain it in the current state of affairs.
