Bitcoin has broken the all time high of 2017 and now it is around 19,000$. The worst part is that even on these level, we are not seeing any pumps and look like price may fall all the way to 10,000$ or even lower.

Once bitcoin was at 69,000$, who would have thought that bitcoin will go so low so fast ?

I think lots of seasoned traders expect this kind of market activity from the high volatility market of Bitcoin.  It isn't a surprise that the price if bitcoin will crash this fast in the market.  It had happened before so it is not surprising anymore.

Now what do think, where we are in terms of bitcoin cycle. I think we are already in th bear market since summer of last year and maybe the bottom/ end of bear market is near ?

I think we are nearing the latter part of the cycle.  Even Bob Loukas said that the 4-year cycle of Bitcoin is coming to an end and a possible transition of the  this 4-year cycle may happen somewhere between 2022-2023.

If you don't expect endless growth then BTC won't disappoint you. Sadly, it declined but it's not a critical issue in the long run

Actually, I was a little bit down seeing the situation but it never make me worried for the future of Bitcoin as I was truly believing that it has fortune. I was just thinking this is a normal scenario as not all the time we are a very healthy market, sometimes prices will fall. As I was in here for a few years, experiencing the last Bull season and long bear market, I'd really understand how this work and that is why I don't complain but rather accept the reality.
why should we worry about it, because we are not new people and the assets we have are not from borrowed funds so we can't make peace with our time and assets...
even if bitcoin goes to the very end of the market today we are not disappointed and will add back bitcoin if there is funds because in my opinion bitcoin is a principle, whoever can stick to his principles then he will be lucky

No Bitcoin did not do anything but open opportunities to earn, what disappointed me a lot was my attitude towards trading. Bitcoin reached its ATH and it should have given us all traders big or decent profits but greed took over me, I did not sell coz I wanted more and now bear caught me. Lesson learn
next time will never be this way.

Not really! I was somehow ready for the downfall. It’s a season of the trading markets and you have to adapt to the changing environment if you want to have a long stay in the market. At the moment, the best is to hodl and not get into panic selling. Bitcoin is here to stay and you better don’t lose hope.

I am kind of disappointed with bitcoin but it’s wrong because we accept such downward movements from other currencies., so why not bitcoin! Let’s learn to hodl.

I can't just predict bitcoin because I don't expect the dump to be as much as it become during this market. Because there have been a lot of support for Bitcoin. But I hope the bear market ends soon. Truly, I'm disappointed.

For me being disappointed with bitcoin is a stupid attitude, we must be aware and also remember how many times bitcoin provides benefits and can even realize what we want.
and besides that bitcoin has a volatile nature and must be ready if there is a drastic decline and there is no such thing as a straight path there must be left and right and ups and downs that we have to face so we must be ready to accept the bitcoin journey, considering what happened in all previous bitcoin journeys which will eventually reverse direction or rise again.
what is needed right now is strong patience and no matter how long it takes because I believe bitcoin will bounce back towards a new ATH.

I'm not too worried nor disappointed at the moment, not yet at least. However, when Bitcoin crashed in 2017-2018, I was so devastated that I quit Bitcoin and the forum altogether. At least two years passed to even reopen my wallet and finally decide to return to the forum. I regret not sticking around at that time, things would be a lot better for me now (financially).

My current goal is to survive the bear market and hopefully not quit again, while at the same time acquire as much Bitcoin as possible. Now is the chance to make up for past mistakes.

I don't think that the price of BTC has already reached its bottom and in the future the price of BTC will go down. I assume that at the end of 2021, the next cycle in the crypto market ended and now a new cycle has begun, which is equal to four years. If this is true, then an even deeper drop in the BTC price is ahead of us, but there will also be a slight increase. In simple words, the price of BTC will be volatile, but will generally tend to decrease. But as for the new growth and the flight to the moon, I think that it will coincide with the end of the problems in the world, which have now taken on an acute form. This is just my view of what is happening, but we will all see how it will actually be, but later.
How could we know that it didn't reach the bottom, it looks like the bottom has been reached and we will probably not do any worse than this if you ask me. Of course it "could" happen, I am not going to argue against that, but I just think that every time we talk about what is possible, we are mistaking the probable with possible.

Bitcoin "possibly" could reach 1 billion dollars as well, how? Well technically speaking it could, because mathematics says it can, but is it probable? Do you see it becoming 1 billion? No. Then this is the same thing, yes it is "possible" for it to reach a new low, but I think it will not go there at all, it's not probable at all.

At that moment I felt sad when the price went down. But deep down I also know that the prices will surely bounce back.

I've been around and have experience and with this being said, I can say that Bitcoin has not disappointed me but rather the contributing factors influencing the markets have done so.

The very nature of cryptocurrency is volatile. Just as there will be massive spikes, there will be massive volatile downturns. It’s important to have a vision of long-term investing with crypto. Those who bought Bitcoin at its peak cannot expect it to go only higher without dipping a couple of times. The only wise action would be to preserve and wait. Bitcoin has excellent long-term value and these short-term dips may just be the perfect time to pool in and invest extra into Bitcoin. Patience and holding will pay off in the long run for bitcoin as the market has its ups and downs. This is a test of patience, and those who are trying to capitalise on short-term gains will be disappointed first.

For what was happened now in the price value of Bitcoin is not giving me a bad effect, in short I am not affected by it. In fact, for me this bear market period I treated it as a good opportunity to choose in which I think that has a real potentials in the future. Where some of the altcoins I bought now is that in my wallet and to hold in the long term.

As a trader, I obviously want bitcoin to keep showing upward movement. But now that it is showing downward movements, I am upset and I can’t even think of hodling since the future is unpredictable and trading seems to be a better option at the moment.

In the first place, you need to add more trust into Bitcoin, just as long as your not selling below the price you bought it, your assets still not loss, instead, you must  be more strong for what is happening now in the bear market season.

I'm not disappointed but I'm also quite surprised that it breaks the historical rule of falling below the old ATH. This year's bear season has given us a lot of new lessons, anything can happen and the market is getting a lot tougher.

In any case, I hope the remaining investors in the market so far are not disappointed and give up on the market. Maybe bitcoin will have many more drops even further than we think but don't panic and leave the market, the deeper bitcoin falls, the stronger it rises.

It actually making me happy that bitcoin is crushed so much. This is my greatest time to buy it all at discounted rates and I know this is good thing to do because just like you said, bitcoin was 69k! That’s the point I want to reach after buying at the today’s market price.

The chaos which is happening right now is negative for many people but me, im being proactive about this. Smiley

Instead of being disappointed, I actually seemed to have new hope when the bitcoin price dropped to its current price of $19k-$21k. because it's like getting a second chance. if in the past I had regrets when bitcoin reached ATH because I regretted not buying much when the price was below.

and now when the price goes down again. then this is a rare opportunity that makes me a little excited and find a new motivation to continue to accumulate bitcoin at the current price. whether with DCA or not. because for the long term I am optimistic and have good faith about bitcoin.

and recently I also got a new motivational boost from Michael saylor's tweet. he again collects bitcoins and increases the number of bitcoins he holds. he uses the fear of others selling as an opportunity to accumulate.

I can say that bitcoin disappointed me. But wait, not from the context you are coming from Op, it is from a different context. The context that bitcoin failed to hit $100k. Assuming bitcoin was able to touch $100k, many people wouldn't have been greatly affected by the current bear because they must have been off the market by now.

Also people that but as high as $60k and above are very much disappointed by now. I don't know for El Salvador, they could also be disappointed.
People are just so hyped up last bull market that they expect bitcoin can go straight to $100k. Bitcoin reaching $69k is a big achievement last bull season and people expected more so they got disappointed because of their entry price I guess or they take a loss on bitcoin dropping value.

There's no need for us to be disappointed in bitcoin, The market has a cycle and we are in a season where people will get liquidated and the only ones who will survive is the one who is smart taking advantage this bear market.
