I have seen some new gambling betting sites comes out this past months and i assume that this is the effect of quarantine so the gambling lords are targetting boring people in their houses to enjoy betting i guess?though i have no concrete evidence that gambling community grows with Covid19.

We will never know I guess but in general I think the gambling industry has been affected a lot.
Like for example, a land based casino like Vegas, they are making billions of money in a yearly basis, so that is a big loss now that they are stopped from operating.

Maybe we should also try to ask ourselves, what are the games those big gamblers are playing in a casino? IMO, they risk more money on games they think they have a big chance of winning, like Poker, so do you think they would trust the online poker when they are a traditional gambler?
Remember gambler will always look for gambling and thats the reality of them to sustain their habits mate.

so for me even this is online but leaved them without options to play?of course they will surely risk money because they care nothing to lose what important to them is to make a chance of winning for their own satisfactions .

i believe that the main target here are those Big fishes in gambling,as they have no option to go in casino houses so they will surely provide something for their desires to gambling and that is online playing.

Positively yes, there is a Good effect in Crypto Gambling this pandemic ,Look how many gambling sites has been advertised here in forum in just a 2 months duration?
Right, there has been an increase in the promotion of new gambling sites and old sites on forums in the last few months. Gambling sites maximize their chances of attracting visitors because many people are bored staying at home while lockdown.
Exactly my Point there mate because this kind of increase usually happens only in the year ender as on that days People having bonuses than can be spend in gambling but look at now while the world has crisis gambling sites are popping as if there are no big problem.
However, I dont think that this will increase site revenue quickly because some people will also save money during a pandemic. No sports betting also has an important factor for them to try to attract the interest of gamblers turning to sites with other classic games such as dice, blackjack, and others.

We can only spend our money for the needs and it's really hard to think about gambling, because people couldn't come out to work and earn money. What has left was minimal saving to feed the family as well as having that money for survival while every community was on quarantine. Those scenarios is the key factors why crypto gambling couldn't be patronized at 100% by now, due to ongoing financial crisis of every individuals.

Correct, many people are trying to fill their daily needs and reduce to buy an unnecessary thing before they can buy the primary thing. They need to save money for the future, just in case if the pandemic is over until the end of the year. That money will be too important for them to be used for playing gambling unless they have another cash that is free from the primary thing that they need to buy. Perhaps, if they have cryptocurrency, they will use that crypto to play gambling, and I guess some people who have crypto is already playing gambling using crypto.

There are probably more crypto gamblers affected by the current crisis than those whose pockets are deep enough they need not worry about the pandemic at all. Gambling is a luxury many people must have set aside for now in favor of the more necessary expenses. This is my experience right now especially because the end of this crisis is still not in sight pending vaccine success.

Basic necessities doesn't matter for those who still itching to gamble because they still have enough money to survive for many years even with the pandemic and lockdown. Since most gamblers are rich and some are in the middle class. Not to mention they are into cryptocurrency, I assume they have enough money to risks in investing in cryptocurrency.
Nevertheless, you are right, let's set aside these vices for now. Let's help the needy first at this very moment.

Of course yes, almost all of the industry has been affected by the covid19 crisis, however, physical gambling casinos are the ones who experience a higher intensity of the effect due to closing the establishments. While online gambling casinos possibly has higher traffic because there's a possibility that physical casino gamblers might seek alternative ways to play and playing online is the most efficient. Well, no other way to consider. On the other hand, there's also a possibility that most of the people are saving their funds for their needs so instead of gambling physically or online, they might consider buying foods and other goods they need.

Personally, I can still afford to buy my needs and still have a little budget for extra entertainment but thinking wisely, I will prefer not to gamble.  I want to use this extra money practically or save this in case of an extended lockdown or emergency. I'm thinking of only going back to gambling if everything started going back to normal. So to answer your question, yes, it made me stop gambling for a while since I have my priorities I need to think first than gambling.
Of course we must be able to save in our finances because if we bet with existing money it will be difficult too if the lockdown is extended later with that policy we must think that entertainment with gambling is not right at that time except tips on having lots of money then it's up to you because with enough money will certainly make us calm.

'Re Like people we are just barely satisfied in need while saving is one to survive during this pandemic so I am the same as you stop for a moment to gamble using money needs.

As you know, Covid-19 caused serious economic problems in the whole world, and a lot of industries got affected even indirectly, simply because people may now have less money to spend.

Do you think crypto gambling is one of such industries?
The answer is yes. There are some reasons why the gambling industry also becomes one of the sectors that are influenced or affected by this pandemic.
1. There are so many offline casinos closed during this pandemic. It reduces the income for many parties; the owners, people working there, the environment around casinos, and also the gamblers itself.
2. Many gamblers cannot come to the casino to play, willing to win but they are not laying. Probably it does not only influence their financial system but also their physiology. Moreover, they are addicted to gambling.
3. Online gambling sites are now more popular. Many gamblers come to or switch to online gambling to keep playing gambling. It may be different enough from the offline casinos, but at least, they can still play them.

Do you think crypto gambling is one of such industries? Gambling is an expensive form of entertainment, and I would assume people will be gambling much less if they have lost their jobs due to lockdown. Or maybe there are some factors that counter that - like maybe crypto gamblers have deep enough pockets to sit through this quarantine and keep gambling.

What do you think? What is your experience in these times?
Correct. Those who lost their jobs are likely to quite gambling at least for now (or they go all crazy and try to gamble their savings). Again, those people whose pockets are already filled but want to gamble as a form of entertainment (during this boring lockdown). Again, those who are already heavy gamblers, but never gambled on crypto casino might also turn to online casinos. Highly likely to choose a crypto casino due its all the benefits and easiness.

I think the question should be more subjective because the covid-19 have nothing to do with crypto gambling it is impacting on every people so it should be more specific. Nonetheless, I haven't seen any data saying that the user of most gambling platform is decreasing. So I guess it is safe to say that covid-19 do not touch the crypto gambling. In theory, crypto gambling services should be in trend right now because every gambling houses is closed as of the moment.

I think this pandemic will not have a negative impact on the online gambling industry. The revenues are more likely to increase. People are more bored than before, so they are looking for distractions.
The people who have less money than before will hopefully set the right priorities.

In some points that's right since there are people who are still into gambling even though there's already pandemic virus that spreading around, they will find online houses to fill in their urge of playing, but in the other hand, since there's also problem with the economy people also choose not to gamble the money that's left from their savings.

I would really hope for those people, that they stand away from gambling if the have less money due to pandemic.

But if you refer to the revenues for the online gambling industry I guess the impact from people with less money is smaller. So I mean, at the end they will have slighty more revenues from the "boring gambler" who will have played more.

Gambling may be expensive leisure but we have different financial statuses. Obviously, for those who struggle and have lesser income, there would be a negative effect of COVID on their gambling. But for those who are fortunate, they are still capable of gambling even with COVID so they don't have to worry financially.
Well, I guess this is right. Obviously there is a change in crypto gambling because of the pandemic and that is the increase on the demand for online or crypto gambling for people who are fun of playing in physical casinos are now playing in online casinos because they don't have the option of doing it and boredom may push gamblers as well as some people to play in online casinos. Funds of gamblers may also affect crypto gambling for some people would tend to lessen their gambling time to save money and use it instead for their necessities especially we or some of us are still in lockdown but rest assure they cannot totally quit gambling it may only be reduced, --but once the lockdown has been lifted and they can earn again then they will go back to gamble as frequent as they were before. Indeed, COVID 19 has a huge impact on crypto gambling and it is profitable for the owners of these platforms.

But it's cheaper this way.

You could play a longer time with just $100.  Grin
While in casinos it will just take minutes to deplete it, if lucky an hour then you will be going home early if you don't have a spare.
I try to do something else to avoid it.
Putting just the right amount and if I lose that, I will restart again tomorrow.
A limit to wins should also be provided. When you double the money then try to rest, do no let greed take over.

I think so too. No one is exempted in this trying times. While its true that a lot of gamblers are still gambling through online gambling. We can't deny that some gamblers still chose to stop because of the pandemic. And we are in lockdown for 2 months now, some maybe lost their savings in the first month(unless they won or still working from home). Its also true that some gamblers can stay gambling for a few month without being in trouble, and they are the customers of the online gambling now.

As for me, I chose to stop because we are face with the uncertainty of the future, I just realized that I need to save for the future to come.
