It is irrational to sell your virtual currency now,The market is slowly recovering, and the bull market may be coming soon.
Waiting until the market becomes better, then sell your coins.

I really can't believe this. I sold all my crypto assets at a very wrong time. I am sadly watching the market right now. Frankly, I was expecting a price of $29000 for Bitcoin. I sold it for this when it was $33000. Now I hope I can see a back dump again  Sad

Honestly wanted to ask and to discovered the newbies among us. i though of creating a vote but it is not Necessary.  i really wanted to ask if there are members of this community that sold off during the last dip thinking that the market has crashed. alot of friends kept complaining that bitcoin and alts will go deep down and it will take months before coming back.

Really wanted to find out people that lost their grip and sold off. what really was your main reason for NOT holding...

Grin Grin Grin Because I was able to make more profits and increase my volume by sell-off somewhere at the top while the dip started and I was also able to buy back now even though I did also take profits from my initial sales.
I have always seen people claiming it is the newbies that sold during times like this but we truly know that is not the fact, Is it not also wise to sell when Bitcoin was like $60k or maybe even $55k and buyback around even $30k-$35k?
If you believe that the market was correcting and that wasn't the end then you know that this was an opportunity you have to increase your position.

I sold most of my coins and tokens as soon as ethereum hit 4000$, I knew the market won't be able to keep up after that, it's just a hunch though because I was here in 2018 and I still remember what happend at that time, no matter how many people are buying and buying if bears determined to march in nothing can stand in their way

Some obviously fell for it at least to some degree, otherwise a sell off can't happen! Wink Unless it was only the big players who unloaded their bags which were created by pumping the market while also selling into it.

There are a lot of reasons why a particular holder tends to sell off their bitcoin from the recent dip;

-sudden need of money
-panic emotions
-influenced by fuds
-buying other coins

And other has personal reasons about that. But when you are a long time crypto holder like me, there is no room for a panic emotions as I have experienced this kind of scene before and the best thing to di is to keep on holding until I reach again my goal profit.
If you aren't financial stable holding coins is a bad idea for you because you will eventually go back and sell those coins you are holding for long term,y advice is make sure you are getting passive income to stay alive and do other things before stacking money some where hoping it brings you fortune in future

Sold some bits of my BTC when it was back in $60k.
I sold some tiny amounts when it was around 40k. The reason I sold? I need some quick money. You would not hold still if you're needing the money for emergencies right? Smiley

Before you believe anyone in this industry, try and find out their technical ability and pedigree in cryptos. Don't just take the word of anyone claiming to be a veteran hook line and sinker without verifying it. On the general view, the market is bullish. At least this is likely to go into the last quarters of this year. Any dip now should be viewed as a correction for price to gain support and then spring back to rally. Again, all hope isn't lost. All you can buy back those tokens you prematurely sold. All you have to do now is get a nice entry position during a dip and go in back again.

Nope but almost because of some doubts even though i know its not the end.. That's why i'm very thankful that despite of the situation of the market i can still control my emotions and now i have chance as well to regain all those losses during the massive dip.. Just imagine 60k to 30k above seems a little bit scary. Lol reason those who can't hold their emotions immediately sell off..

I do not sell my coin during this last dip because that will not give me much profit.
I can hold for more because I expected to make a profit from the increase in the price.
You should hold your coin like other people because if you want to make a big profit, you need to do.
This moment is a good time to buy more at a low price so when the price starts to increase, you will see your profit will be bigger.

It's not a lie that crypto market will crash at one point and the fact is you can't expect the whole market to crash instantly, it's a gradual procedure that can take weeks or months, it's just the same way bull market start getting stronger and stronger every month since 2020

All my coins crashed about 50% but I still holding it, because from my personal analysis, the price of my coins will bounce back and soar again to new level high. I learned how history of altcoin when bullish season that happened in 2017. To go to new high, can be take in 3 to 4 months.

I will not sell when the market is down or unstable and will not sell at a loss, and for whatever reason I will only sell in favorable conditions or in the price situation when I first owned it.
Another reason is that I make purchases with extra cash and have other savings for immediate needs without sacrificing crypto under any circumstances, and I always use the long term method, so before hitting the target under no circumstances would I sell it.

some of my friend did exactly that, they thought the when the dip happened the price just gonna straight go down to zero and not gonna get back up again meanwhile we who are experienced enough know that the dip gonna open opportunity for buying and then recover back.
Real sign of a newbie in crypto is when they think of crypto as a market that could fall within a day I guess thus making them weak handed.

I didn't sold during the last dip, I only sell if I really have to. Just ignore your friends that are pushing you to sell as they've done. Focus on your goal.
If your main goal is to hold, then don't be moved by them and remain focused on your goal of holding. The coins you hold will determine a part of your future.

Everyone experienced the current dip but for a strong holder, he must keep holding their coins, except for a very urgent need of money. FUDs are always spreading every time, I think we all know it very well. As I realize it is about market manipulation, I never sold any single of my coins during the current dip. I am optimistic that the crypto market will recover and the prices of crypto coins to increase again soon. Be patient!

I didn’t fall for the current dip and sell off because it is obviously the bearish market when I saw most of the good coins go down so it would be best to be patient and wait for the time that the bullish market comes. If you have a lot of friends or saw other trader who panic sell, there maybe a reason for that like needs or newbies in trading.

Bitcoin- in bullish time

Honestly, I sold some a few days after seeing the market just turn red. I'm not saying I was in panic and worried about the incoming situation but what I'm trying to do is to secure my capital and it is a sort of market anticipation. We never know what will happen next in the first place and I remember that last 2017 Bullrun that I miss, and that simply reminds me that I don't do it anymore. I still hold some but only those potential coins left.
And I never think that I was wrong...I hope so.
