Can someone explain to me why on my pool dashboard my worker has a difficulty of 1024 yet the network difficulty is a hell of a lot less
Which pool are you mining on?

That is normal, it isn't the actual coin difficulty it is showing but what difficulty the pool as set your worker.

@ Digibyte I'm on dedicatepool

And why would the pool set my worker such a high difficulty compared to the network.... i'm in danger or asking technical question i won't understand here i fear
That difficulty is for your worker. It is not the same as net hash. The worker difficulty is set through stratum and vardiff support. It helps keep the bandwidth down so you are making fewer connections to the server and submitting fewer shares. But the shares you do submit are worth more.

I think this one is the best:

@digibyte
Not a bad idea, but we would like to keep the distinct logo on his chest for marketing/branding purposes. There was one that looked perfect with him holding the DigiShield, we will re-post it.

I'm performing a research project as part of my economics undergrad right now to find the determinants of Bitcoin's value. I plan on using Digibyte as an example for the external validity section. The results might be useful if we're looking to increase long term value.

Awesome idea! This sounds very interesting, please make sure to share once you are finished. This could be really helpful information to help DigiByte grow!

Im wondering, When mining using P2P if you move pools does this effect payout?

I have been mining on P2P for weeks with one pool, However my reject rates is increasing and want to try a closer pool, Will it take another 12 hours for payment to regain normality?

All nodes is the same for you. When you change a node your work continues from where you stoped to the other node.
The right thing to do is to choose the node with the smallest ping.. less than 90-100ms is acceptable. You also have to include a second one to your script for failover so you never lose a share.
