Hey guys, we already added ssl and Ipv6 to the website, which other features do you want to see at https://www.pickaxe.cc/ ?

2fa

That will be included indeed as soon as we launch the pool, we are aiming for maximum security with email confirmations and possibly tokens/google authenticator.

Anyone ever use https://mcxnow.com/?

Yes very good and professional in my experience, quick transaction times and no issues moving money around.
I did a lot of WDC trading here as it was one of the first exchanges to accept this coin last year.

P.S. would love a donation if you are still offering them up? DMPg6RKPCy9QZ1AjH7oZp521kPyNZPZbNY

This exchange is run by known scam artist RealSolid. I used it before and never again will i ever use it. 2 Months ago he just closed it down for no reason. No warning nothing. I was lucky he didn't run away with the coins. Never again i deposit a penny there. Plus fees are high compared to other exchanges.

I agree. I've heard numerous rumours about fishy stuff happening at mcxnow.com. trcwhale is right about the site suddenly stopping all trading and not posting a reason as to why or until when. Potentially risky.

We took the CoinEx link down. We will wait until they have come back online.

I'd be very very very wary of CoinEx.pw if I were you:

The code posted so far here scares me. Why are you not using mysql prepared statements? You're just asking to be injection attacked.

i don't know how to use them. i tried, but it makes getting results harder. i have < 6 months experience. maybe one of you really smart guys would like to join the staff in a paid position as dev # 3? if not, maybe you would like to be paid nicely to convert all our queries to PDO? I'm willing to accept that i don't know everything there is to know, and that one of you take our work and make it alot better. any takers?
lots of complaints lately, and they are warranted. i was wondering everyones thoughts on the following:

what if we closed the exchange temporarily(allowing everyone time to get their coins out first of course) so that we could focus on fixing the site. it has alot of areas of deficiency(2fa, email functions don't work needs more account activity logging, ip logging for sessions, list goes on and on) and i think that with the exchange closed temporarily we would be able to address the issues without having to manage a live website at the same time. i'm gonna sleep on it but its looking like this is going to be necessary. release was rushed, and at this point i'm considering it a failed build. it works, but it just isn' t up to par. i think we can all agree on that.

Besides they're closing this weekend:

How would we do this exactly?

You could do what a lot of others have started to since the new rule. Although I'm not sure if you want the traffic to go to this forum instead of your own.

We should make an appearance on this site. But we would like to get more involvement on DigiByteTalk.

Edit: Disclaimer: I misread the link, I've not heard bad things about CoinEx.pw yet. OpenEx.pw is one you should definitely be careful with though

Dev, please start "will feed for thunderclap" show, it works.

I spent a couple of dgb's, I almost ready to spend 10x more, cuz I am interested in success, but it's probably giveaway foundation job (premine).

We have now started work on the DigiByte exchange, what should we name it?

Vote Here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/digibyte-dgb-what-should-we-name-the-new-digibyte-exchange-439027

Ha I missed poll. Just proposed digex.io, it's better than domains with dash. It's available for registration.
What does .io stand for?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.io

.io domains are popular with new startup companies.[3] IO is also used in IT as an abbreviation for input/output, which makes the .io domain useful for domain hacks.
Thanks for the info, will keep that in mind!
