In that case.. Nobody forces you to buy crypto.. And if you want, nobody forces you to use cryptsy, also the fee based exchange model is not the only model, so if for example someone create a 10 bucks each month exchange, lot of people get of cryptsy, so they cant scam anymore because people would bounce.
Do not know if this is true about cryptsy, but would make them major greedy basards, echange fee, withdrawl fee.... Mmm let us earn more by forcing new coins to buy themself in. Ugh.. Time for a new exhange

I noticed on my pool that some people got the same payout address. I removed those addresses from the accounts and notified the ones that were affected. I asked everyone where they mined and all say Xtrapool.
Please stay away from them!

you are right... recently we saw that several pools are scam in this crypto coin system. they either steal their own miners account or try to break into the mines other pool accounts.. or maybe both :\
They login on the accounts in their database, they dont save your password with encryption and then they use an automated tool to empty these accounts on all the pools in this network. Please use different passwords/ usernames on all pools!!

5 cents about cryptsy. There are rumours about it, seems to be a scam. They want palm to make coin listed. They want a part of premined capital. There will be selling order (see DOGE charts) placed before us. Dev's please don't feed it if this is more than rumour. Don't kill your coin.
What is wrong if a trading platform takes a fee for adding a coin and giving the privilege to the devs to add their trades first? Why is everybody automatically shouting "SCAM" when a business asks for a fee or when a small percentage is pre-mined (especially when it is announced).
Sure, it is not in favor for the community, but it does not make it a scam.
Exchange takes fee, so why the fuck there is additional hidden shit? Look at their fee for LTC withdrawal, they for long time stealing 10% of average LTC miner daily income.
They are not 'stealing', they made a trading platform. It's their reward for doing it and people seem to go along with it. It's called business, sometimes it's not fair.
This is impossible fee I have ever seen. Such fee MUST be in bold font in "Deposit" dialog. Otherwise this is a trap.

Umm, is there any word on how bad it is? Lost a whole bunch of coins with 42 pools the last week and it has gotten me worried when a pool goes down.
And pickaxe has definitely been my other choice for Digibyte pools. Looks like you have been bumped up to main choice
