I guess the point is - DigiByte doesn't sound like it is money.
Digi = digital, byte = basically also something digital for most of the people. No reference to it being money/ money-like.

Can you give an example of a fiat coin that sounds like money? If i'll take baht, rupee, rand, yuan, yen, dollar, euro... don't sound as money to me neither. Only the crypto's did glue the word coin to their brew.
edit: I stand corrected, there is a money coin. Everyone must know what that is then and want some.....

So far so good, Ive been running if for a few weeks and all software I personally use works fine.
Seems to be a Windows 7 meets Windows 8.1, I personally really liked Windows 8.1 and the lack of a start button really didnt bother me but hey!...
The main thing is Digibyte works fine!

For me as a store owner in the Netherlands, No. But i'm sure it will not take to long before HK merchants start accepting DGB.
Hong Kong would be a great market because it's the gateway into China and being high tech people are willing to try new technology and invest in it more than most places.
I like that the dev is open about his identity and based in Hong Kong. If Digibyte can succeed in a relatively small market like HK it would be a great starting point.
I'm sure Tofugear and Digibyte have some good contacts in HK
