yes agree, give the opportunity for someone who has not bought and give patience to the holder, if bitcoin and altcoin price does not go down even strange, because the price will not always stable, this is normal, but the average person will feel frustrated

Come on lets be honest - we hate dips and fear that each new big dip could be the one that destroys crypto. Then it recovers and we all become wise again!

Dips makes you stop wishing for price to become low because the time has come. Make use of every dip effectively and you'd be glad you did in the long run.

The dips are a good thing as it show that bitcoin is not just about price going up like some ponzi scheme. It's bound by the laws of supply and demand. That's why people still believe in it.

It is necessary 100% because if there was no dips these markets would be rigged and therefore wouldn't be a proper market. Also lets not forget that we need to shake out the weak hands if we want to go higher and that is probably what happened these past few days we got rid of weaker hands and hopefully higher here we come  Wink.

As a newbie this is my first time experiencing the HODL during the dip instead of panic selling then carefully calculating when the best entry point is to come with new money. I am very glad I did, even though I did not hit the bottom. It was a learning experience - and I hope I will continue to learn the psychology of the market and have strong hands.

Just don't overdo it. When you buy on top and the price starts to fall down sharply you shouldn't hesitate to sell. Hodling is great once you got an established position that can't be undermined. For instance, I'm currently holding some BTC that costed me 700 USD per coin which makes it an easy job. I wouldn't hesitate to sell though if the price went below 800 USD. You can handle missing the train but you should never allow yourself to go broke.

This is not dip, I think $10K is very high price, if you buy at $20K it is your problem. $5-10-20K all are high to me, btc can fluctuate between $5K- $20k

I know it is not good to see that our investment is losing its value because of the dips. But let us think of it in positive way. Dip markets means opportunity. An opportunity to buy in dips those coins that we know have a potential in the coming years.

How many weak hand are still left?
Cause we have removed them for year and year and there are still thousands if not tens of thousands of them.

I don't think we can blame it to the weak hands and far more on the lack of buyers.
There was nobody buying. All the support walls evaporated in a matter of seconds , most of them retreating by 1k each time.

Old weak hands go, new weak hands come. This will continue until Bitcoin will mature and the market will get less volatile, so only professional traders will stay, while average users will just use it as money and enjoy some long-term deflationary gains.
The (temporary) lack of buyers is caused by the fact that the market is very uncertain - some people believe that Bitcoin is a bubble or overpriced, so they wait for it to go lower, but others, especially hodlers, believe that it will go to the moon, so they don't sell and the market doesn't crash do the ground. The result of this two opposing forces is huge volatility, since most of the traders are either speculators or noobs with weak hands.

Yeah good points there. Dip also make investors realize that bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme.

More importantly it redistributes coins, which ultimately is only good for btc.

Yeah I would agree dips are really good for crypto currencies because it gives opportunity for investment and I think because of what is happening now surely many holders do panic selling which will result to availability of supply of bitcoin in the circulation with this distribution of crypto would be made much wider and probably a good preparation for upcoming pump in bitcoin value soon I would love seeing bitcoin value start to pump again and let people get good earnings.

Sadly, people will never understand this.. They only expect to buy 0.01 bitcoins and then they expect to see it rising towards $100000000 in order to be extra-multi-millionaires with that amount of bitcoins.
These dips are good for two reasons
It allows people who haven't invested yet to invest
It brings awareness to the market, growing the potential investors
And i am not the only one telling you this, this is the real fucking truth, everybody is in here only for money purposes, and everybody is trying to catch money in here.

If the price decreases = it is the end of the world.
If the price goes up = Bitcoin / the new world order + revolution + I love bitcoin.

Yesterday/day before created one of the best dips in the market, and the recovery, need I mention about it? The markets were down by like 40% for all cryptos and today morning the markets had gone up by 40% and still rising. Bitcoin and Ripple were the best. Bitcoin dropped till ~9500$ and Ripple had dropped till ~0.90 $ and it went to like 1.65$ today. That's almost a 83% profit in a day.
Btw,growing the potential investors? Nah. It doesn't. More and more panic sellers and dumbasses appear in the markets nowadays, like it or not. You know who is buying bitcoin, its for one the whales, two are the users who trade in significant but not so great amounts and small petty investors who are new to the market. Others, they are just waiting for bitcoin to drop to $3,000 and are living in their own dreams.

Dips make the balance of market. But everyone is just panic and dump their coin because FUD news. Every year bitcoin have a Dip either at the beginning of the year or middle, and give a chance to buy bitcoin for who doesn't have single bitcoin. Bank is afraid to Bitcoin because they don't want lose their costumer and go to Bitcoin and Bank doesn't have asset for give a loan for someone and get money. We need a freedom and Bitcoin is the answer In my Opinion

the decline in bitcoin prices is currently very profitable for investors.
many people are trying to invest in bitcoin because the price of bitcoin is falling dramatically, they hope one day bitcoin will rise even higher.

Yes dips are good for crypto and those who missed the opportunity earlier when bitcoin price was less but market is giving chance again to invest. Certainly new investor will also be interested or excited now to invest in bitcoin or altcoin because it is the right time for investor to enter in the market and apart from this old players will also wait for such dip to invest more in crypto.
