dips are good, if you religiously believe, that prices will bounce back. BTC is a bit unique.
It's still a growing technology. So there's still hope the prices would skyrocket.

I think it is good for old bounty hunters. Because new ones moving away from this kind of small profits. So, the place is ours Smiley But for investors, new ones, this is good as you say.

As a newbie this is my first time experiencing the HODL during the dip instead of panic selling then carefully calculating when the best entry point is to come with new money. I am very glad I did, even though I did not hit the bottom. It was a learning experience - and I hope I will continue to learn the psychology of the market and have strong hands.

During dips in crypto, the market is being cleansed of those who have weak hands and panic sellers. Certain times like this, FUD will be all over mainstream media and raising awareness to some that crypto is dying. But, after all the bloodbath, market will recover stronger than ever, because crypto is here to stay and is shaping the future financial system.

These dips are good for two reasons

It allows people who haven't invested yet to invest

It brings awareness to the market, growing the potential investors
Absolutely true. Dips gives opportunities to investors to invest in bitcoin. Also it gives lesson to those who are doing panic selling which they are now regretting because prices of coins are now pumping.  Grin

Especially institutional investors. Hedge funds in particular like investments that are not correlated with their other investments (the essense of hedging) and only bitcoin appears to be moving independently, other assets like stocks and bonds have become correlated.

A dip is good, volatility is not. All this does is provide an opportunity to make a profit on the ups and downs. It's the golden age for a trader.

Exactly ..Its good for those who love to shop crypto coins during dip or red days. Then they will sell it during pump or green days.Decreasing its value sometimes just a bitcoin price correction. So buy low sell high.Thats how good dip days is.

I liked your first reason that people who have not invested till now can invest now. Moreover, the people holding bitcoins can increase their holdings as well.

High fees = low BTC price

bitcoin is regaining its momentum and ready to take the ride towards to uptrend once again.

How would you know this or is it just a gut feeling and have you seen BTC recover before now when the fees
have gone to the moon and are still 100 X too high

Yes it sure is different today and dropping 50% when the coin cost $0.50 is not the same market that is
being played today so just how do you know that the party is not over because unless you can answer
these questions then your puling it out of thin air.

Tulips kept going up until one day they didn't and i can see cracks in this theory of yours even if we ignore
miner fees and that is the network won't scale with a mere 7 transactions per second so you must be relying
on the lightning network to come to the rescue.

See https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/lightning-network-is-a-banker-scam-part-one-2776719

Don't read if it upsets your religious believes that Bitcoin can only ever go upwards or take it that
I am just trying to help you and saw some hope in something you said.

These dips are only good for those who aren't holding any money in bitcoin. But as of now, bitcoin is regaining its momentum and ready to take the ride towards to uptrend once again.

These dips for bitcoin is interesting knowing that it offers chance for new investors and additional investments as well. One thing is clear. After these dips is a big surge for bitcoin. Its just a matter of time when the demand rises.

3. It removes the panic sellers(or weak hands) that posts "omg is bitcoin dead??" or something along those lines on whatever websites from the markets. Seriously, those people. *sigh*

This. Thats why we didnt fall to 5k cause now we have strong hands to 10k, next strong support will be on 20k.

dips are perfectly healthy for uptrends as it removes weak hands and replaces them with determined buyers.

Yes we could buy more. This is a healthy correction in the following days bitcoin will pump and altcoins will follow so buy more and hold.

How many weak hand are still left?
Cause we have removed them for year and year and there are still thousands if not tens of thousands of them.

I don't think we can blame it to the weak hands and far more on the lack of buyers.
There was nobody buying. All the support walls evaporated in a matter of seconds , most of them retreating by 1k each time.

Sure, I never said the weak hands will go to zero. And I'm definitely not blaming them on the crash, I'm just saying that dips like this causes some of them to get out.

These dips are one hell of an emotional rollercoaster dude. I hate em' Sad
You need to embrace the dips, mate. If you're planning on staying for long in the crypto universe, expect dips once in a while.

It brings awareness to the market, growing the potential investors

You mean buying in at say $17,000 and being washed out at $12,000 like lots of new "Investors"
have seen this month is good for the currency  Cheesy

Good job that i was not "Buying on the dip" when Dot.CON went bust in 2000 and back in them
days no one would had paid $30 just to process 250 bytes of data like we are having to pay
miners today so any "potential investors" are going to run for the hills when they learn that hidden
secret.

Sure the "Lightning Network" is going to save us and make us rich again
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/lightning-network-is-a-banker-scam-part-one-2776719
but competition from other alt-coins won't wait six to nine months and even if we ourselves wait
then we are going to be in for a disappointment and shock

This is something I have been saying for the past six months. These markets went parabolic and this was destined to happen, it always does and always will in these situations. "This time is different", never holds true.
