After 24 hrs, I was at 0.095 at payouts last night on CoinSolver. Server was very unstable so I didn't get a great read. I am sitting at 0.015356822BTC Combined balance atm.

Over what kind of hashrate? Please give more context.

Added Heavycoin (HVC). Please note that its profitability is calculated based on the initial release of cgminer for AMD GPUs. Newer cgminer versions might yield better results, and there is ccminer for NVIDIA GPUs that outperforms AMD. For example - without overclocking or any extensive tuning:

cgminer on 280X: 5.3 MH/s (factor of ~7 comparing to 750 KH/s scrypt on the same card)
ccminer on 750 Ti: 4 MH/s  (factor of ~16 comparing to 250 KH/s scrypt on the same card)

In other words, if you have an NVIDIA GPU, Heavycoin is something you might want to look at. I will consider switching to NVIDIA numbers for the chart if I can make a rig ready for tomorrow.

Could you add CoinSolver?

Probably not. Adding new pools requires me to mine there myself, and stay on the pool for 1-2 weeks to gather meaningful stats. Last time I checked CoinSolver performance was abysmal so unless something dramatically positive happened recently it's quite low on my list.

They have.

Alright, then maybe you can explain this a little bit. On the stats page http://coinsolver.com/poolstats.php it shows pool hashrate is zero. Not inspiring confidence so far, but I can take that value from the front page chart (~120 MH/s). Then I take the "Est. mined BTC" value 0.425625564 and divide it by the hashrate, the result is ~0.0035 BTC per MH/s, quite low I think. What am I missing? I'm guessing the "daily" BTC values are not "last 24h" values but maybe start at some time each day. Do you know what that time is? Is there a stats page that would past payouts and hashrates? Until I can get some reasonable numbers I can't consider this pool.

Huh Current Pool HashRate: 129 Mh/s

It was just updated today. Last test I ran comparing Clever, it won. That was a week ago on the old system. Also, a lot of the stats are not super accurate b/c VTMiner, the dev, manually trades and updates the stats randomly throughout the day. Since I feel your resistance, I am hashing at ~1.6 Mh/s and I will report back regularly.

There is a new darling for GPU miners - HeavyCoin (yes, a CPU-only coin has a GPU miner just a few days after release). While it's too volatile to include in my calculations, check it out if you are looking for a few quick satoshis.

It would be hilarious if something like that worked on gridseeds Wink

Added LeaseRig.net (see caveat #5).

Any non-scrypt autoswitching pools that you know of? X11, Keccak, or adaptive-N?

I don't know of any, sorry. Maybe it's too early, too much money yet to be made in scrypt, but once ASICs kill it I'm sure some alternatives will come up.

Great thread.  I bookmarked it!  But you know... hahhahahaha  I just have to laugh and imagine the pool managers laughing about all the various statistical analysis tools and chats popping up about their babies.  Sort of like sportscasters on NASCAR
