before few minutes have a call from DHL - package with lancelot boards just arrives. I have got some requests for unboxing photos so I tried to take few. Sorry, I'm not a profi photographer, but hope, that it will be enough. Later today will install it and post mining results here.

I've resent my PM from, May 02, 2013, 01:06:17 PM in case you missed it.

I've received it. Sorry for the delay but it's due to the jetlag.

I just arrived in China to help and to ensure that everything goes well. Will reply to you shortly.

Blackarrow,

I've resent my PM from, May 02, 2013, 01:06:17 PM in case you missed it. Our group purchase is currently at 140 units with the possibility of growing. We're ready to place an order, but all that we are waiting on are answers from you.

It says that these are open source?  But the only 'source code' I have found is here https://github.com/ngzhang/Lancelot and all it is is the schematics (porn for my EE eyes Smiley and the Bitstream.  Is the actual source code, verilog?, somewhere else?

Is shipping price to china ShangHai or Wenzhou lower?

Waiting for anyone to confirm a received unit.

Yes, we are shipping from China. Should be around 10-20 RMB.

Just curious

can these boards be reprogrammed to do other things apart from bitcoin mining

Yes, they are development boards.

So do these mine 400MH/s for the full board or per chip?

From our tests so far the average is 385Mhash/sec

Yes.

And,
1) these boards have access to a lot of GPIO pins, although you'll have to solder headers to the pads for easy access.

2) the hardware schematics are open source, so you know what goes where.

Two caveats:
1) It ain't easy. Unless you're already highly technical with well developed skill sets in both software and hardware - well, the learning curve is steep.

2) The free version of the Xilinx tools will not work with these boards. The Spartan 6 FPGA chip.

Id think so...std spartan6 fpga core, so treat em as a usb fpga dev board Cheesy

They just have 2 fpga's per boards

no degradation

Around 400 MH/s per board, 200 per chip.

Today we've shipped half of the first batch.  The orders that contained ATX power supply converter have been postponed as it is not in stock.
We are trying to make the ATX power converters on Friday and ship the rest of the orders then but we might ship on Saturday.

The first batch was small due to limited Xilinx IC availability during holidays. We're currently negotiating to get more Xilinx IC in 2 days and start manufacturing the next batch.

Dear BlackArrow,
have you any whitepapers of the PCB, instead of (even of hi-res) pictures?
I'm going to put together a CAD project for a modular enclosure but I can't find anything really useful.

Thanks Smiley
