Thanks, Brandon. It is important for DNotes and DNotes Global to always do the right thing, though others may prefer taking short cuts. There are many options and choices in our industry. We happened to have chosen a different path but respect others for their choices.

The Texas State Securities Board has issued an Emergency Cease and Desist Order targeting BiConnect, a UK based cryptocurrency exchange. BitConnect is planning a new initial coin offering (ICO)later this month and Texas is stating the tokens are unregistered securities.

The Texas regulators say BitConnect has placed 9.4 million of the coins into the online cryptocurrency marketplace, representing a market value of $4.1 billion as of Jan. 3 and expects to issue a maximum of 28 million coins.

Great article Alan. I'm glad to have invested in DNotes nearly 4 years ago; my confidence in the team is still as high as it's ever been (if not higher). Having positioned DNotes to be compliant with existing regulations will be a huge advantage over DNotes' competitors who have twisted the law to suit their best interests. At later stages of their growth and development I believe being situated in this legal grey area could become a MAJOR obstacle for those entities.

It's everyone's own decision to sell at any time they wish, so if you don't believe in the long term DNotes vision, maybe it's time for you to sell and move on. There are thousands of cryptocurrencies and unregistered token securities that will promise you 10000x returns overnight.

I understand, especially if you are new to DNotes. We are uniquely different and have been positioning DNotes to solve multiple industry challenges we believe are essential in gaining mass acceptance of DNotes in global commerce one day. However, as many groups and organizations create faster, more private, more efficient, and more portable iterations of digital money, cryptocurrencies have not followed suit in becoming a reliable store of value.

First, despite rising interest and investment in the space, cryptocurrencies remain small in scale compared to incumbent fiat money types, and are not commonly accepted for trade. I found a little trouble for myself trying to explain other people what DNote is. Actually it was hard part for me to understand your company targets and main goals, because it's kinda spread at many paths. Can you please clarify your key pros/targets in theses, so everyone can easily understand what is DNote, how and when it can be used?
I really think we need clear whitepaper or common cases shown down on website, making it easier for people to get involved in DNote.
