Thingking optimistic is better, i'm sure many altcoins are still exist in the future. I predict about 1% from total altcoins that exist now, in the future will definitely have a very good value. Because bitcoin requires altcoins.

Today we can see that a lot of different altcoins appear. But many of them disappear as quickly as they appear. But there are some very successful and promising among them. So, I think that qualitative altcoins will be in the future.

Altcoins are also cryptocurrencies. Like bitcoin they are also very volatile. Everyday you have to fight your own emotions whenever you check the coin market for price if you are a holder of a substantial  amount of altcoins for fear you might lose them. So i think as one day one rises up in value and the other day another crypto goes down, so the fate of altcoins are also unpredictable. For how long they are going to last and stand.

Many altcoins are now convertible to fiat such as zcoin, ethereum, and even BCH, they have their own market share in addition to converting into bitcoins, the future of altcoin is very bright for those who continue to innovate on their projects, falling coins and delisting is a chess pawn that loses in the game, it makes a lot of sense in the free market because that determines the price is the investor.

First-movers are often more likely to succeed, but there is room for innovation too. The later coins that are not much different from Bitcoin are certainly not likely to get much of the market share.
Innovation is always a good thing, but it's not any kind of innovation that will make a coin survive in the long run, it needs to have something that could not be implemented in Bitcoin itself.

I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.

What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?

I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.

If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future.

We can't say what will happen in the future. Maybe for now some altcoin was just in the beginning of their journey. They are starting to make name in the world of cryptocurrency. Like what happen in BTC no one knows that it will be given a break. And now it is already known and establish.

Of course altcoins have a future. There are a lot of  progressive altoins and you can expect great growth from them. But like with anything though, do the research before the decision, there are a lot of scams nowadays.

Some altcoins have future indeed. Just like some projects of ninties that become alive even when dot-com bubble had exploded. When cryptobubble will burst it will be very harmful for those, who holds all investments only at crypto.

Well of course its best to scatter your investments but i think alts have a long way to go here therefore good for investments as well. Stick to the ones that have solid following because would most likely keep these icos afloat for the long run

I believe they have. It just might take years to prove their worth. The coins on market cap that are on the top 10 are some that does have a future.
I strongly believe only Bitcoin secondly Etherum because Ethereum is next Bitcoin.I am not believe all alt coin beacuse some alt coin is very slow growth such as Doge coin is big example.Doge coin is not profitable coin.

As a general term, altcoins, yes, they have the future.
This is a term of New Economy and a start of something even bigger and more important that they are themselves.

But to choose and invest in one of them is not a simple thing.
You got to read read read much. And watch out for the trends!

I also think bitcoin will have a long-term future and continues to developing more and more popular as time passes. Likewise Altcoins, i think Altcoins's future will keep abreast of bitcoin over time, during as bitcoin continues to developing more and more popular.. Altcoins will continues to following bitcoin and will be used by many peoples to gain more profits from it.

Yes, altcoin has a future but not all of them, just some altcoin from successful projects and from a solid team that will be like BTC. Succesfully altcoins are altcoins that has uniq project and will be solved many problems. I think some altcoin that will be like BTC  and have a future is like: ETH, DASH, LTC, XMR.

yeah of course altcoin has a future. There will be so many blockchains that you can't count them all. Each will have its own niche purpose.

Yes, I believe there will be altcoins that will survive together with Bitcoin. Not all alts have same purpose as Bitcoin. Some alts have different purpose. In Crypto world we have different industry such as Health, Finance, Real Estate, Agriculture, etc. About your comment about ETH, I believe Ethereum will go far as much as Bitcoin. Because its platform differ to Bitcoin and I think it will contribute a lot in our fast growing technology.
