Dont sell altcoins if the altcoins is low price wait to pump your altcoins and sell. And buy bitcoin deep price and sell to the high price.
I will keep all alts for good times. Right now is a very good time to buy alts and bitcoin. You need just wait, when bears go away and bulls will be back

It's better to hold it all. In this manner you can earn either between altcoins and bitcoins. The problem with this is that you need a bigger amount of capital for these investments. The bigger the capital the bigger your chances of profit but on the other side, should you lose your capital, you would lose a lot. Business is always a gamble. Gamble to win.

You should start selling your altcoin if you didn't even bother to do your own research about the altcoin you are holding. Asking question like that means you didn't do your own diligence to make an investigation on your coin portfolio. Bitcoin is started to be bullish and once it goes up, there is no coming back. Everybody is waiting for the increase in Bitcoin price and I feel kind of depressed seeing my altcoins going down every blessed day but this does not say I should go to the extent of selling them off and this is because I know what led me into getting the coins and why I am still keeping them. I will tell you to hold up.
I do not think that you need to sell altcoins because the altcoins have very good prospects for development. Of course it all depends on the project, but still I think that altcoins will develop faster than bitcoin, just the time has not come yet.
I think it's better to keep the Altcoins and Bitcoins, since the growth can be for all currencies. I would not invest all the money in Bitcoins, since the altcoins can give a better quicker growth and they are cheaper.

Initially you have a reason for holding altcoin, if you hold to buy bitcoin in future then you can sell to invest in BTC.

Good day, Certainly I believe that Bitcoin is going to be almost 20K within 6 month again, we already saw the price almost 20k at the end of the last year so that this situation will come for sure. for this purpose, you may wait for a while for the more profit. So that you have to keep your Bitcoin not sell at present.
So don't be confused about this issue, Day by day Bitcoin is becoming a popular and profitable in the monetary world and it will be the dominating factor in the future. That's why saving Bitcoin might be the better decision for the future purpose.
In my opinion, hold it first because right now Bitcoin is not stable at the same time also Altcoins but if you are confident enough that you already have that profit then sell it out. But I can say you can also miss out the jackpot if the Bitcoin become stable again sooner or later and rise to your set target. I recommend you to wait longer rather than you will miss the opportunity to hit the jackpot.

Nobody here could perfectly predict the future. All we can do here is to speculate and monitor the trend. Sans negative news bitcoin is recovering from recent bloodbath and also altcoins. If you wat you can sell some of your alt but not all because in some cases alts are the ones giving big profit to some.Do you think that BTC is going to reach 20k soon?

For ms it depends on how comfortable the price is and also it depends on you. If you notice that the price of each coins is getting low then you must wait for the time you must keep it and not sell it but if the price is getting high then thats the time for you to sell your coins.

It's easy when the bitcoin goes up the good altcoin, and when the bitcoin goes down, your altcoin goes down in the same way 
If you are not incurring any losses then you can sell your alts and invest in bitcoin but if you are incurring losses then it's better to hold your alts rather than selling it at loss.
Altcoins are more high risk than Bitcoin but they can also be more high reward if you choose the right ones. The question is how to know which are the right ones. If you sell an alt that goes up x10 while Bitcoin only goes up x2, you're going to be beating yourself up.
If you didn't sell it while it was raising, it is time to buy new altcoins at low price instead of selling it.
But what alts you have? I would definitely keep a good alts. Actually, coins like Ethereum and Litecoin are still considered as alts.
I hope the author of this topic had the patience not to sell bitcoin. On the contrary it was a great time to buy coins. And I'm sure that most experienced traders did it. Believe in crypto and HODL!
