I don't think it's a smart move to sell all of your alt coins in any situation. We should always have plans for future because crypto market is not stable at the moment and anything can happen. In that kind of situations you will have some coins to sell and change your investment and some other coins to keep holding in long term. It is always better to have your portfolio divided into different types of investment. Bitcoin will start climbing back to 20k soon but alt coins will also start going up too. I would keep both of them in my portfolio.
I don't really know this January or in February but I knew some icos that attained success. Apex, arcblock. Those were the successful ico there have been. And right now, try to look at aitheon. Many people said that focus on the technology. And aitheon's goal is to do that! Try to study their whitepaper.
If you wanna sell your altcoins I suggest that you keep some. Maybe you sell 80% of your total holdings and 20% for holding or 90:10, it depends on you. Because no one knows, that altcoin might go to the moon after 1, 2 or 3 years. Just always check if it has a potential in the future.
No one here knows the exact answer to the question "What to do?" Of course, many can say that the answer is obvious sell / hold. However, it is not. Anything can happen, whatever, an irresistible event. Anything can be destroyed.
it is your choice if you wanted to sell it all but the question is what is the purpose of your invest for the long term or for the faster profits if you already reach those why not sell it

I think it is not necessary to sell any coins. Now the cost of altcoins has fallen, but not much. After a couple of months, it will again increase in price and will be a good opportunity to make a profit.
No,don't do it because it is the time for altcoin investing too,you can see that the altcoins price keep recovering from the big crashes and surely some of the altcoins have the potential like bitcoin so if you have good potential coin then you need to hold as long as you can to have more profit.
The question here is why did you invest in the altcoin you are holding! If you can not answer the why question you should hurry to an exchange and sell your altcoin. Buy bitcoin and keep your bitcoin for 5 years. Otherwise, you should be holding your altcoib

I think you dont gave to sell all your all altcoins it is better to hold it to get waht you want amount to sell it's worth to wait and wait and see what will happen.

If your altcoins have potentials to be on a high price, try to wait more time. Every move that you will do will have risks. If you sell all of your altcoins and transfer to bitcoin, and your altcoins that you sold have a higher price, you will regret that you sell it on a lower price. I have my altcoins sent to bitcoin too due to the increase that certain date and is now waiting for bitcoin to rise again. I know it will but it could have been better if I am also profiting now with altcoins using those sold one

I think there's no need to sell everything at once. First, you need to determine what altcoins to leave for trading, and what to sell in the near future. Once determined-keep track of exchange rates, and those altcoins that will bring profit can be sold.
Do not be nervous , and do not sell all alt which you have. You can diversify your deposit , for example , 50% in btc and 50% in different altcoins. And wait 
I'd rather sell bitcoin than altcoin because the altcoin prospects for riding are bigger and I do not like to sell cheaply all the coins I have, I'll wait because I'm sure the coins I have have good prospects, and I've proved like NEO, Litecoin and so on.
If you think that`s the price of altcoins is enough for you and needed it very much like a problem financially or tuition and fees to support the studies, then sell it. But if you sell it without any valid reason, don`t do it because it will increase in the right time.
I don’t think it is a good time for selling your coins. If you can wait just two weeks you will earn much more than lots of coin will rise at the end of this month. And it would be great if you can add them more before their rising.
what can happen in two weeks? I think that there will be a very short period for a week to change the exchange rates. For each project there are different features of growth and fall. If you are interested to switch over to bitcoin than you may sell you Altcoins. But Altcoins also performing batter.
but it would be better if we have more capital, so there's nothing wrong for us to invest in Bitcoin and altcoin at oncebecause later it will produce double profit
i think yes btc will reach 20 k in this year but alcoins will up too. so i think hold altcoins can earn more with alts
