I am thinking to buy a new computer. Fun. Wondering what you guys use?

Any special computer or just any ol' machine will do?! Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Do you have a VPN or a personal Hotspot?

What Virus Protection do you use?  How about... Mac Afee?

Mac or a DELL?Huh Cool Cool

Well, most of the time I used desktop then sometimes laptop when I'm in the field. Then, the protection in which I used was kaspersky to my desktop, laptop and mobile phone. Moreover, in terms of brand name of laptop, for me HP, Dell and Samsung are the best to have it.

never heard of pocket wifis before, and googleing it I don't see the diference to a 3G/4G modem. Is there any? At least a 3G/4G modem can connect to a PC. Why would something work on a laptop and not on a PC anyways? Android laptop?

Yes, I prefer laptop. My country has a crappy internet and also expensive so I can only afford a pocket wifi. A pocket wifi needs to be connected on the pc by a cable while laptops don't. So when the internet  connection is making me laggy, I need to move my pc which is very inconvenient for me when trading but if I am in my laptop, I just need to move the pocket wifi anywhere to get the connection smooth again.

On the contrary, I also have a crappy internet here, but a pocket wifi usually suited me best when I do trading. But yes, I prefer my old laptop though, it is still functioning as it was design so I don't want to buy a new one because it is still comfortable to me.

I don't like trading with mobile, although there are a lot of big screen mobile phones, I don't feel relax using it specially if it involves money specially in our daily trading activity.

I use 2 laptops to make trades. And my trades focus on one laptop. And the only laptop to monitor the price movements of coins in some major exchanges. So using 2 laptops will make it easier for me to trade.

I often use personal hotspots. And hotspots that have a high speed, although monthly costs are expensive. But the advantage of the exchange will be greater.

It amazes me how exchanges manage to make their web and mobile applications so convenient. I rarely resort to entering the exchange from a working computer, as a rule I do it from a tablet or phone, and it is very convenient.

You should expect that since they should be really amaze us in order to get the attention of other investors.

Transaction fees and withdrawals are not the only thing we look at a site, we also look at how presentable it is since that makes it more easier or simpler to use.

Since most of the time I am traveling I use my laptop it’s just an Acer i5 laptop that bought last year for $600. I use Avast antivirus and Avast VPN. One thing I notice when I started using vpn it slows down my laptop for about 10%, but so far it is doing what it is supposed to do.

Well, I don't think any of these really matters if you are just using a PC for trading because all you need is a browser with an internet connection.
The security does play a role if you are storing your coins in your PC because you would want to protect your private keys with higher security.

Any PC would do fine. I use an intel i3 laptop with 4 gigs of RAM. I don't use a VPN, I just use a hotspot from my phone and without any antivirus for my own reasons.
It does really matter for some people because trading with your own Laptop or PC is totally different when you are on a mobile phone unless if you are a kind of person who do always travel then you wont have any choice but to trade up with your phone but its always been preferable to trade on a pc because its less hassle when you put up some indicators or making up some side research and making some plotting which you cant done this things or too hassle when you are on mobile.About anti viruses i dont mind too much though since its always been updated and im not fan on clicking any phishing links.

It’s just about your comfort levels at the end of the day. A lot of people prefer traveling and trading, so this means that they have to keep access with through smartphones or laptop and it always is laptop that’s most comfortable for all. I myself use Laptop only and it also helps me with Crypto Trading too, which can be done even on weekend, so something that you could really connect yourself with to be able to gain and that with rather comfort.

It all depends on the need of everyone and the platform you use. If you select  MintMe what you need is any device connected to internet and you can use any laptop, desktop, smartphone, tablet (Android or IOS), where it will be fully functional.
I think and believe that the device we used to trade is not what give us success in trading but the knowledge on how to interpret charts, indicators and news that influence the movement of pricing that do make us to succeed in trade! I am using iOS to trade now but last year I was trading through android. Forget about devices and focus on the knowledge and skills and you will become a successful traders.

I most likely use laptop for trading for a better chart analysis and at the same time it's portable. Although I'm much comfortable in PC, it's not always available all the time unlike laptop wherein I can just put it in my bag.

Any computer is suitable for trading. because it does not require too strong configuration. You should choose Dell and use Adblock Plus and Mac Afee, which are great applications to avoid viruses. But promise me that your laptop should only be used to trade and store the necessary information. Do not click on links of unknown origin and avoid downloading games from cheap websites.

I'm a trader, and I have been trading for a while now. I use a VPS and currently running on it 24/7. I can do that because I use a cryptocurrency trading bot, Gunbot. That's where I manage my trades and let the bot trade for me when it is in profit. If I also don't have the time to open the site of my exchange, e.g., Binance. I would just access my GUI of the bot and input manually my trades. Doing that in Gunbot is possible. I think traders would use it as a great trading tool.
