Thank you for the reminder but I think if you decide to enter gambling, you should know your limits always. Be a responsible and disciplined gambler, by not spending more than the amount that you can afford to lose. In times where you don't have enough funds, then never decide to gamble and avoid taking a loan as much as possible.

Gambling is not a reliable source of income, and most of the time gamblers end up losing than winning. So there's no way you can guarantee gambling to pay your loan, unless if you have other businesses that can generate consistent profits and use those profits to pay your loan. But still, taking a loan should always be avoided if you don't want to compromise your finances later on.

When a gambler is new to gambling, he can't really make the right decision, it works in his head that he might win if he bets, or if he spins the casino, he might get the jackpot. With such a fresh idea, he plans to gamble with the loan. When he takes out a loan, he works in his mind that he will pay off the loan by winning two or one gamble, and with the winnings he has, he will gamble more and make more money. Thinking like this, when he decides to gamble with the loan, the results go against him, he gets a real experience of gambling and faces various problems of not being able to pay back the loan amount on time. Maximum new members make this mistake so new members be careful. Gambling is a game of highest risk so gamble with your own money rather than taking a loan here but be careful.

Loan isn't for someone who is struggling and if you have no choice you should only borrow what you can easily refund, even if the worst happen, for example right now I can take loan up to $200 max, because anything over this amount won't be comfortable for me to return or pay up.

Doing away with gambling is not just what we can say merely by the mouth, we must take action towards it. Like if we have taken such decision maybe because of our too many losses, the best thing is to stay away completely from it, if you are playing offline line then don't visit the game house again and avoiding hanging out with those addict gamblers. And if you are playing online then delete the app totally and uninstall it. It is funny some gamblers say they want to stop but they can't delete the gambling app. You have to delete it because if you leave it there you will still want to visit it. Like like you forbid a certain meat yet you use your teeth to cut it or share it for some people 

Your story, or the story that you've told, is a wake-up call for you. It's good that you realise early that your life will face some setbacks from gambling, but it will never happen if you control yourself, which means that you'll regret your action. Even if this kind of story or scenario about being in debt or life being miserable because of gambling is posted or shared in this forum, we still can't be sure if the readers who happen to be gamblers could realise what they are doing. You see, if a person or a gambler can, at some point, realise that they have already lost some money by gambling, the urge to recover it will be stronger than being calm and letting it happen because the worst situation might come. Probably that is the reason why, just like the OP, they didn't stop even if they lost some, because they didn't know anything that could recover such a loss, so they tried and tried again, and without realising it, they sank their feet into deeper problems.

This may just be reading material for those gamblers who are experiencing something like what the OP experienced, but at some point, maybe they remember this kind of story and wake up from their misery before its too late.

After all, in my opinion, gambling using their own money is also wrong if they are already addicted, and this addiction forces them to continue gambling so that they can do other things that are more risky just to fulfill their desire to gamble, such as borrowing. the possibility of those who are already addicted and when they run out of capital to gamble they will borrow money from their family members or close friends and even worse if they dare to borrow from the bank, because dealing with banks can get them into trouble and will involve the authorities because they cannot repay their debts. Not a few addicted gamblers are involved in loans, especially in my country where online loans are in full swing. They can borrow money just by passing a cell phone, but use a valid identity card to ensure the identity of the borrower, and there have been cases, sorry not there but many cases of those who were terrorized to pay off their debts, even to the point that someone came from the loan office to the borrower's house to force the borrower to pay off the debt.

Thanks for the reminder; at least in this matter, there is a lesson and benefit to other gamblers who play gambling. Also, being told that it's a loan is a bit tempting, especially if you know for yourself that we will be approved quickly.

Maybe this is also what gamblers who intend to borrow and then gamble with the borrowed money must overcome. This is not really a good solution, because no matter what we think, there is still no guarantee that the borrowed money will grow.

Thank you for sharing this information with us as you have had a first hand experience, therefore, your story isn't one read of a comic book which is taken with little or no seriousness.

I know some people will feel like you didn't know how to get strategic thats why you lost but, facing facts, there are no guarantees and gambling is first luck before skills or expertise.

With the number of threads talking about several unhealthy practices some gamblers do in order to continue gambling, perhaps in a bid to win back all they’ve lost.
It’s real easy to dish out advice but really difficult to learn and follow said advice. I’m not entirely surprised with the story shared by the OP. I somewhat feel sympathetic for the OP as although, he knowingly borrowed to gamble, this is a financial setback that would have some impact.

This is another clear case of how things could turn out for you if, after having a bad spell, you decide to stubbornly continue playing to try and recoup all/most of the money lost. And like most cases, you end up losing even more like in the case of the OP.

Hopefully, the case of the OP could help be a deterrent to others against chasing your losses as well as taking out loans to gamble.

I am sorry about your bad experience but it was the best lesson you learned.
I say that you are not yet addicted but are still in the early stages of addiction so if you are already aware of this, immediately stop thinking about any profitable things from gambling and put it in your mind that gambling is just to play game for which you have to pay small amounts and gambling for profitable for gambling owners.

I always give this advice to everyone who goes too far into bad zone of gambling such as the early stages addiction or gambling recklessly using loan money which has bad impacts in long run and I give this advice because I have more black experience in gambling than you so plant something that scares your own mind so you dont think too much about big things of gambling.

loan money to gamble is actually not very good in the long term because there are two risks that must be borne, namely having to bear losses and repaying the loan. but I sometimes do this but it does not matter as long as everything has been arranged according to commitment and has been planned in detail to lose as much as I can afford but still dont loan money to gamble if you dont want to blacken your own life and that enough.

I have no idea how could you do it but obviously it is an addiction that you did not realize. The most important for you to do now is to stay away from gambling, do not even to pay your debt from gambling or it will bring you into the worst possible case. Focus on your IRL job or any other side income you may get in order to pay your debt. I know it can be something really hard to do, but that would be the best thing you can do right now. I has happened already, you admit your own mistake and now time to pay your mistake with wiser and better actions.

The gambler should not get loan to play the game after he had loss the entire money in the gambling because of the bad luck in the game.If the gambler need to check his luck,he need to check with few dollars like 50-100 dollars.So if the time is good for the gambler,he can do the gambling and make the big money using the gambling site.The important thing was the gambler should withdrew their winning money after some profit and don't get greedy and expected more from the gambling site.The greedy may leads to the big loss in the game,it's better to withdrew funds with the minimum profit.I had loss some game and win some game in same stake.com,but the fact is you need not do the gambling with the loan money.Since you loss 1700 dollars,using loan money you must settle the 1700 at first,but depositing again will not the better option.

Gambling with your own money it is not even sure if the game will end up in winning,  I don't know what will give one so much confidence to take loan to play gamble thinking that it must end up with a win. Gambling is always unpredicted,  that no one can tell what the result will be like , I think people needs to not be taking gamble serious and as a way they can easily make money. Gambling is a game of fun which people need not to take it serious but to play with the amount they can afford to lose. Any gambling that has gotten to the stage of borrowing money to play bet is a big lose.

It will only trap yourself for many new problems to come, you must be true of many gamblers who experience downturns, they experience a lot of tremendous pressure because they are too excessive and make loans as the best alternative when they run out of money to gamble. If you do run out of money to gamble then it is better to allocate your activities to other activities that are quite fun but have no risk. Another thing I suggest if you really want to gamble, it's better to put a small budget, meaning a budget that you can be responsible for the final result so that you are not disappointed and not emotional when indeed in that session you really lose.

Do not even think about borrowing just to gamble, after all gambling is only an activity that relies on luck, and that means you should not try hard to make money just to gamble, because there is no certainty for you or anyone to win, and usually what happens more often is defeat.

Dumbest thing you could do. Spend all the money you have in your bank and you'd only really affect yourself, spend money you took from loans and now only do you affect yourself now, you also affect the you of the future. God knows how many times you'd possibly do this really since it happened once, it can happen twice, thrice, and many more times. People who are under debt can be rather weak to temptation since their mindset is "I'm already down, how much lower can I go" kind of thing.

I understand the struggle of being addicted but I'll have to call you a moron for what you did, you basically endangered the financial security your family has, loans should NEVER be used for something like gambling. I suggest that you seek professional help(I know this will further burden you financially but you have to do it) because realizing that you made a mistake and saying to yourself that you will never do it again is not enough.
