The more people gamble with loan money, the more smart people will be warned about the greed. Let other fail and we benefit from that.

I have always advised people not to take gambling seriously but I myself became heavily addicted to live blackjack from stake.com and kept winning and losing. In this case I will not blame the gambling site because they give live cards. I started the game with just $20 but gradually I got addicted to it and wanted to gamble and win bigger amounts by depositing bigger amounts. I lost $1700 playing this way then I decided to play with a much bigger amount and recover all the losses then quit gambling for this I borrowed 270000 BDT ($2180) from the bank and deposited there. But unfortunately I lost them. Now I am financially so weak that it has become very difficult to meet my family expenses and I owe the bank $2180 which will take me a long time to pay off. Now it will take about 2 years for my financial situation to be normal again. Gambling addiction set back my normal life by 2 years. I am a victim of real experience and I am sharing my real experience with you.  Don't make the same mistake I did.  And never decide to gamble with a loan. If you do, your situation may be similar to mine. so beware of gambling
Actually, your acknowledgment came but late. Your situation is very similar to a friend of mine who is becoming one kind of addicted gambler day by day currently he has learned a blackjack game and sometimes he borrows and gambles when he doesn't have money. Anyway, when I meet him next day, I will show him this topic of yours. However, I am sorry for your loss. But what has happened now cannot be backed up. So I would suggest you to think about the future and take a lesson from this difficult situation so that such mistakes do not happen again in the future because there are many gamblers who make the same mistakes again and again after these events.
I have been a gambler for a long time and I have always been able to control myself but this time I developed a confidence in myself that I could play blackjack very well and win and because of this I suffered greatly from placing large amount of single bets. ~~~~
Buddy, you should have remembered that confidence is good but overconfidence is never good. However, we all should control our emotions, if we can't control our emotions, sometimes they get us greedy and at the end of the day, we get into such situations.
In trading and gambling, never should make any decision on emotion, And in this case, doing these things with loans is nothing but foolishness.

That is why you should always practice what you preach just because you have said something does not mean that you are immune to all that stuff that you are against and so you end up being complacent about this kind of things and you forgot what you are telling others to do. It is a good thing that your loan did not involved illegal entities like gangs or loansharks because if that was the case, you are definitely in a bigger trouble than what you are experiencing right now with the bank, the banks can never cripple you if you do not pay their loans so you are still relativity safe and hopefully you will be able to recover from this, no one deserves to stay in this trap because they are a gambler.

It is not really advisable to gamble with loan money, because you will end up in debt if you do this. Remember that gambling is not always about luck, so let's avoid getting into this situation because we ourselves will be digging our own graves. Being so addicted to gambling can't think properly, you really have to control yourself when you gamble because gambling has ruined many lives.

Gambling with borrowed money is like digging a hole to trap yourself. I understand that maybe one of the things that makes you do that is most likely because the emotion of losing continues to dominate until you run out of money and when emotions overtake you it is very difficult to be able to consider looking for better actions in such conditions. So you find something that you think is a good alternative to choose when in fact the action will only worsen your condition. And it's also possible that you're doing it because you're misunderstanding what gambling is, you're taking the odds too seriously, it's very possible.

I think it's very difficult to suggest some of the best advice to them if they're already completely wrong in their mind about the odds in gambling, even if the advice will help but it's probably unlikely to work. So the main thing to correct I think is in terms of their mindset in the perspective of gambling, don't put too much hope in winning by doing everything possible such as borrowing just to continue gambling and chasing uncertain wins. As the OP said borrowing money to gamble will only make you worse off.

Yeah, that is the obvious choice. Do not gamble with money that is not yours.

But I cannot blame you for your mistake. And neither should you blame yourself, after all, you are only human like the rest of us. Nobody wants to commit such "obvious" mistakes and people think that as long as you have your common sense, you are invincible. Well unfortunately, common sense is not the driving force of human rationality. And we all fall for the same seemingly simple traps.

Just view this as an expensive lesson and try to avoid making the same mistake in the future. Grin

First of all, thank you OP for the warning. We need this. It's not to scare people away from gambling but just to become responsible enough to only gamble what they can afford to lose. No matter what happens, don't borrow money just to gamble it. I will understand it if the purpose is to invest in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other popular coins but when it comes to gambling, we should not loan anything from anyone just to satisfy our urge to keep on doing our gambling habit.
This is an eye-opener for those who may be in the same situation as you. The people who are on the verge of going to the bank and acquiring a loan just so they can continue to gamble. There are no winners in casino games, we will always lose not because the game is rigged but because we cannot stop once we start. Greed will be there, and chasing losses will also be there, it's just a never-ending back-and-forth game which is a waste of time and money. Using a little money should be enough, that's my opinion and I'd like to keep it that way as I keep on playing original games on Stake.com too.

How come you could make such a mistake even after being active here preaching against addiction. It's a pity though that you would have to go through this as a result of the loan you took for gambling and it turns out south for you.
As easy and simple as it may seem,  not many are matured enough to stick to what they preach. One might become so overconfident in what they can and cannot do and become carried away in the process believing that they can manage themselves,  only to get disappointed when things get messy. No one is above mistakes, that is why we have to be conscious at all times because anything can happen at anytime.

Of a truth no one is above mistake. So therefore one must be careful of some kind of decision they make so as not to have that thought of had I known because as it is now, I believe that is the thought of OP because what he had done was a very big mistake towards this festive season and tell me how does he want to cope with the loan, family and other activities this season.  Being conscious of  activities helps alot to mitigate some kind of occurrences that would have occurred to cause some stress in the future.

Sorry for OP situation. Really hope you recover from it and learn a lesson so it doesn’t happen again
Hope can be a poison as we can see from this situation. Losing your own money is already bad enough. But losing money that is not even yours is orders or magnitude worse
Shit things do happen because of shit actions that we do made, so its normal! After a mistake then learning would comes next. It is really just that sad that people would be only refrain on doing
things on the time that they will be experiencing hardship, they can eventually be able to avoid that if they are really just that mindful about their actions. Just like been said by most
people that it would be worth if those loan amount will really be that be used into something more useful or something that will beneficial rather than on using it on gambling. Gambling isnt bad as long you do make yourself that responsible but on the time that you are spending that much and comes to a point that you are already taking up a loan then its a solid sign that you do have an addiction.

That's why it is not really advisable to use loan money in gambling. The risk is too high and you will face consequences if you lose the money on your bet, you will end up having a deep problem that can take a few months or even a few years for you to clear. You've been here in this forum for quite some time, you should practice the advice you read when it comes to gambling addiction.

Sometimes I wonder why there are gamblers who, even though they know it is wrong to borrow money that will only be used for gambling, still continue. They are so willing to do something that is a blow to the moon. If we look at it, it's a gamble when he uses the loan, but he still gambled on the decision he made.

As a matter of fact, if he knows how to pay the debt, there is no problem; maybe in the eyes of others, his way is just wrong, but to the person who borrowed money to gamble for him, it is right; that's the only thing that seems to be seen. That's my logic. But still, I don't agree with that.
Because they are already that addicted, no person would be taking up some loan and do gamble it all or someone who are in their right minds. If they've seen that the risk is high
then there's no point for you to make out bets with loan money. It is really just that too dangerous on such action to be made by someone. Taking loans for the sake of making
investment is much more worth rather than on taking some loans just for you to gamble. Just like been said by others that on the time that you do reach out this condition
then consider yourself to be an addicted person.
There's no indeed person that they are on their right thinking will really be doing such act which they do know that it would be bringing out that huge impact
into their finances. There's no sense that you will be taking up some loan on something similar as risky as this.
Play into the money which you can afford to lose, if you do lose it all then call it a day.

If you do, your situation may be similar to mine. so beware of gambling
We are aware of gambling it's you that wasn't aware by abusing it and any abuse of gambling normally met with a drastic regrettable end. Sorry to say this but is good you had to learn the hard way for if you were advised against you wouldn't have taken the advise seriously.

It was all greed plus lack of self control to gambling that made you take loan not only once but twice just to finance your gambling desire. People are frequently advised in the forum not to take loan to invest as a result of the risk involved how much more gambling that's damn based on luck. There are actions in this life that should never be done, and this is one of many.

Any actions made whether good or bad would really be having that kind of outcome. If you do make yourself took some loan or mismanage your fund into gambling then expect that bad things will happen along the way.
We dont really mind that much about spending money when its still there, due to those bad or non realistic goals or thinking about with gambling and trying to chase up losses will really be causing that kind of desperation on which it would be causing for you to play even more or would be pushing you until the very last drop of your money. Taking up loan in the bank does really have the small interest on which you wouldnt be
caring that much when it comes to repaying it because you are really that confident that you could be able to do so but on the time that due date comes and you have lost it all in gambling
then this is where problem do starts.

Making bad decisions will really be ending up with bad consequences and this is something that you should have bare in mind on the time that you do gamble.
People would usually be forgetting these things while they are still on good shape but if they do see that they are on that tough situation then this is where
they do make realizations.

Gambling with loan should be avoided. But not only that, also gambling with the amount of money that you can not afford to lose should be avoided. The reason I said this is because despite it is not advisable for gamblers to gamble with the amount they can not afford to lose, if they do, they are more likely to lose the money in their bank or wallet address and what they will look to is to get a loan if possible, so that they can continue to gamble. What will also still happen is that they will lose.

Imagine, you are doubling your risk if you ask for a loan and use it for your gambling activities.

Having a loan/debt itself is risky- sometimes it may be beneficial if you use it for a purpose that can potentially help your business grow. But if you are using a loaned money for a risky venture such as gambling, then you are doubling the risks that you may face. Not only is there the possibility of you losing your loaned money, but there is also that possibility that you may overextend your said budget.

OP is the living example of this nightmare. That is why, gamble responsibility everyone.

BTC, a coin of today and tomorrow.
That is the biggest mistake a gambler will make: that the money to gamble with comes from debt. Most of the gamblers who did that did not become successful, maybe even more in debt because the loan was probably used up immediately after losing.

Maybe there are still people doing that, and maybe not all of the loans were used for gambling, but overall, this style remains a bad habit. This shouldn't be a good habit for the gamblers here.

Sometimes I wonder where people who borrow to gamble get their motivation from. What exactly makes them believe 100% that they will play the game, win and pay back what they borrowed. Winnings only happen by chance and one need to be careful of the kinds of decisions they make while gambling as these decisions are capable of ruining them for a very long time.

How come you could make such a mistake even after being active here preaching against addiction. It's a pity though that you would have to go through this as a result of the loan you took for gambling and it turns out south for you.

Even if you experience a harsh realization about what you do on that casino still you manage to learn a lesson from what you experience. So maybe try to bounce back from that experience since nothing will happen if you get stress with the problem came. Right now its best for you to find multiple jobs on internet so that you can possibly make the payment process fast so you can get out of that huge debt. Also you better stay away from gambling since it could just add more to your problem.

Hopefully your story will serve as a lesson for other thinking that there's easy money in gambling or its a good idea to chase winnings or even your losses. That's why we should settle only the amount we can afford to lose an not to take any loan just for gambling reasons.
I was even perplexed by the heading of this post, because countless posts has been made herein advising against using money that one can't afford to lose to gamble with. This one speaks about even borrowing to gamble. That is, this one voluntarily borrowed just to put himself into more debt.
Gambling is a game of luck. Even huge winners know this and know rarely would you hear their stories start with them borrowing to gamble. It mostly starts with, 'iy was the last cash on me...'

Am sure the picture is clear now, the lessons have been taught the hard way and if our dear OP fails to course a plan right away to start paying off the debts, there might even be need for more lessons unend.

That is a story that should be an example for people on this forum, thank you for sharing your story here because the lesson from this story certainly attracts the attention of all of us to play responsibly and wisely so that we don't get addicted to gambling, as you said, you have consciously make mistakes and casinos will never be wrong because they prepare games for entertainment but it seems like you are playing too seriously.

I know that it is difficult to recover losses, sometimes there are those who succeed and there are also those who fail, but those who succeed are definitely not many of those who fail, that's why never chase and recover losses, let alone losses in gambling, don't always bet all the money It is hoped that you will win, because in gambling there is always a risk of loss and defeat, I hope this will be a lesson for all of us to gamble with money that we are ready to lose and not try to borrow money to gamble.

In fact, this player is addicted to gambling. Perhaps they used up savings to gamble. And now they borrow money again. If they win, they will get back the money they lost before. But why don't they consider that they will lose that loan amount? They lose all their savings and owe more money, and the inevitable is that you have to pay more interest every month.
Anyhow, this player understood that they had no control over their gambling. Stop gambling for a while. Try to pay off all that loan so your mind can relax. Thank you for sharing this helpful information. We will be careful not to follow in your footsteps.

OP was even lucky he didn't end up being homeless.

As long as he still has the job, he can earn money to pay his debt and survive; it's just that he has to sacrifice a bit, as his income for his needs and wants will be reduced while he pays off his debts. But the world is not over for him; it's just one mistake that can be resolved in time. What's important is that the mistake will not happen again, as we never know, he might experience worse than what he is experiencing now.

Borrowing money is not advisable, especially if you can't control your emotions and you go all out.
I wouldn't call that lucky; not only did he basically spend every single dollar he had, but he also borrowed money in order to gamble even further. What else could he do? Sell his house and deposit that on Stake as well. I'm seeing that he's from Bangladesh, and unfortunately, salaries are quite low there; thus, I'm guessing that the OP used funds earned from signature campaigns. The mentality of "earning back" your losses rarely works and is an extremely risky move, especially with such an amount of money the OP borrowed.

I understand that he's only sharing his experience and doesn't need us to lecture him right now; he feels terrible already, but sometimes it's best to accept your losses and move on. Taking a loan to fill your gambling addiction was a very irresponsible thing to do, and I'm hoping that you at least learned your lesson and will not pursue to earn back your lost money in the near future.

Take care and try not to go downhill again.
