Following up on my preorder from November last year.

I first contacted them back in May when the units were already a little late and would give compensation. I was given steps to login to the new website. No problem was ever indicated.
They then said the X1s would start shipping the following week. As I was an early preorder I expected to get it around that time.

Then in Mid June I emailed them again asking for a status as it has been 3 weeks since they said it would be shipped in a week.
They then emailed me back saying they couldnt locate my order (I provided both my previous order numbers in prior emails, but provided it again)
Then they emailed that they couldnt locate my payment (WTF) but I sent them the record for the BTC payment I made.

I didnt hear anything back and have tried constantly emailing them and phoning them.

I finally heard back from them today and they said:
"We do not have your money or an order for you. You paid the previous owner who seems to have run off with your Bitcoin.
I am sorry.

I followed up on that and they said

"Miner Hosting LLC purchased minersource.net after your order was placed, your order still resides with the previous site owner as he did not transfer any orders to us.
The transaction data you sent does not match up with any of our wallets, our first order is dated 11/24/2013 "

Funny how its right after I placed my order.... I have records of my order from their own site (the 2nd one) showing my order placed, and paid.
Is there any news on action taken against them?

My order was transferred to the new system and then cancelled, so they should send me back my money.

Check out this quote I got from this crypto new site.

Quote
For them it was customers first. Even when Black Arrow was being delayed over and over, they refunded their customers out of their own pockets to make it right.

WTF?!  Huh This makes me so angry since I haven't received a refund from Minersource and many others who bought from them are also still waiting.

It's almost 1 year ago since I've sent minersource my $800,-

I'm going to try looking into the small claims court again. I'm thinking I may be able to sue them in my state since it's an internet business.

I have a pre-order from December 2013 that is unfulfilled with no known delivery date.
My refund request has been denied and subsequent contact so far has been ignored.

So, yeah, do not order from Minersource.net  Angry

Hey I also lost most of my money to these guys. I am having trouble with the small claims court, can someone point me in the direction of any lawsuits currently underway?

Hey OP did you get your money back from Minersource? A lot of people are still waiting on a refund, it looks like they don't care about their customers. People should be aware how badly they treat their customers, don't buy from them.

bobsags3, aka. borito4 is a known scammer. Please do your research.

I do wish I had known this prior to agreeing to let him host one of my miners, which I never saw a single hash from again.  Sad

You're joking? He took your miner and ran? Wow, great guy

I am very sorry to hear that.

I guess he needed it to help pay for his sig and forum ad campaign.

I'd like to see a response to these accusations. I'm not saying I believe in all of this as I haven't seen a hard proof in this thread, but ignoring it won't help the reputation of this company.

That's just the thing... you won't hear from them. They're too busy not giving a fuck

I don't even know why they have an email address, they don't bother responding to your emails if it has anything to do with getting what's owed to you back. Rubbish company run by rubbish people

Minersource recently screwed me over too on faulty equipment.

I picked it up from their local guy "Matt", he said to call if there were any problems... Well there were, one was DOA and the other had major performance problems. Well "Matt", decided to ignore my calls after that. I can only conclude that they knew the equipment was bad and had no intention of making it right.

After that I contacted them by email, got a response from Dan Murtha basically saying tough shit. They ignored several other emails after that.

Even if they weren't hurt by Black Arrow, they've proven to be a badly run business with poor customer service, I won't buy from them again.

Yeah well, what do you expect? If this company just went the Gox-way... I often wonder whether it is malice or just incompetence or bad luck that causes all those companies to fail.

What the OP said is what is going on.

I have filed with the following agencies since Dan Murtha has refused to refund me.

FTC: Reference #54876592
Denver, CO BBB case# 75225016
BBB PNW case# 10138457
Attorney General of Colorado (response received, no reference # other than my email. Did state they have received a few other complaints)
Attorney General of Washington (my state)
Attorney General of Missouri (incorporated in this State)

I initially asked for my refund and Dan responded rather quickly that my units would be boxed up and shipped the next day. They pushed my order up to the front of the queue, by passing many others with lower order numbers.

I informed him that I no longer wanted them and not to ship them. I received NO response until two days later I got an auto generated message with a tracking number. I then responded to MS that they have violated my rights under the consumer protection laws (specifically FTC Rule 435.2.c.1 which states: ( c ) To fail to deem an order cancelled and to make a prompt refund to the buyer whenever: (1) The seller receives, prior to the time of shipment, notification from the buyer cancelling the order pursuant to any option, renewed option or continuing option under this part; ).

Dan Murtha then responded ""

Like that is supposed to make a difference. He acknowledged my refund request originally, in the evening. So that negates the "afterhours" claim.

I have also seen people say "well, they're an LLC, so you can only go after the company assets and if they don't have any, you're screwed." This again is not fully true.

While an LLC protects the owners from most lawsuits and damages, owners will remain personally liable for any wrongdoing they commit during the course of the LLC business. So since Dan personally decided to refuse my refund request, both the company AND he are liable if it goes to court.

I am not going to defend or attack minersource.

They made a lot of money for me in a few deals.

On black arrow deals I did with them I will lose money.   The black arrow  money I lose will be about 300 to 500 usd at best ..  At worst it will be about 700 to 900 usd.
