Yes, in order to increase the economic growth of transparency we need to use blockchain that's why many big companies are showing interest towards the blockchain because every sector is showing interest due to there is huge growth in blockchain technology. Which we can implement in any sort of project once we have active developers and people who have knowledge about the blockchain technology.
Of course all this ico coming up everyday will devalue the initial trust placed on bitcoins

For sure there are a lot of benefits we are getting today only with the help of blockchain, in some areas blockchain is being use as best source to keep our bitcoin saved and it is allowing us to maintain the safety issue in our investment, now in recently I have heard about the new that some bank systems are including the block chain technology in their matter of holding investments. 
Reality is that blockchain make things easier, its more secured and private. Do we need it? Look around, do you think that global economy is doing fine with so many poverty around? With so many scams, banks that rip off peoples last money? We need better system than we have now, blockchain is maybe answer to many economic problems that people face today.
Lets be real about one more thing, there are too many people living what you think can paper handle all that? I guess that in some way we desperately need blockchain, what else can save us from banks?

When I see there are too many ICO and shitcoins on novaexchange. I keep asking myself: do we really need blockchain technology?
In case of Bitcoin. Of course, I agree.
What about ETH? I agree too.
But, have a look at the others on the market. I don't even know why should people use their service. There is no real use in real life.
An ad management system on blockchain? - We already had Google Ads & Facebook Ads.
A social network on blockchain? (steem) - Do we? I don't see anything but a centralized forum hosted on a random hosting using its currency to pay for the writers.
There are too many projects that we don't really need it on blockchain.
Sometimes, I think there is a black swan (Blockchain is useless in real life) lurking around.

If you are here in Bitcoin or crypto industry, blockchain is very needed you must bear that in your mind pal. Because,we cannot earn bitcoin or altcoins without the blockchain technology they have in this type of business as well. And most of the project that rise here was all connected into blockchain dude.
