Of course , it is better to diversify, because now it is better not to keep everything in one coin , but rather to distribute it by projects
It’s never a smart thing to put all your money in one thing, with diversification you are lowering your risk of losing money, so yes it is a smart thing to do.
Diversity is a great tool for when you don't know what to do. This way hopefully you can protect your assets as you move through the market. Once you know what to do then I would advise against diversification and go in heavy on the knowledge you have.
Sure you need to diversify your investment , you don't have to put all your eggs in one basket, spread the tentacles to have all in profit , using all your funds on one coin is much risky than any other thing you could imagine, but in you spread it then you have assurance of winning most time because if one dip some pump and that gives you a return on what is lossing in other coin and even more gain. I think that we must diversify in order to increase the profits, I mean, you can just hold one coin but you become dependant of that single coin, so you have to wait for it to rise in value, but if it drops in value than you have to wait even more because you have to wait for it to recover first, if you diversify than you can play with the altcoins you hold, because each one of them will fluctuate at their own pace.
You need to diversify your funds in order to reduce the risk of losing all your money. If you invest only 1 crypto currency, you simply increase the risk of such an investment several times.
