i dont think we need our own coin when the existing coins are not even fully utilized yet by the market.  i think what we need is more awareness campaign on what the technology is all about as it really has great potential and opportunities.

I saw a thread earlier asking about Philippine based or targeted coins, and there have been a few attempts at a country coin. Is this really something that we are interested in?

The purposes for others was for remittances, for general investing, for bills payments and banking, for OFWs, for rewards, for points.

Would we like something similar to Bitcoin ATMs where you can buy and sell on a machine?

Do we want a free airdrop? Or an ICO? Or a mixture of both? (Bounties of course will be available.)

Discuss.
They plan it, because it is crafting rules to regulate cryptocurrency transactions to protect investors and reduce the risk of fraud. Government said that there have been a lot of cases where ICO promoters vanish into thin air. We don't want that to happen here.
John Calub lol? Ano bang nagawa nyan?

Why not we can have it all in our country? We can have Airdrop and ICO at the same time. We can have our campaign so we can also earn some of bitcoin. We can have them all as much as we can if we can manage our time for all of them, but don't force yourself.

Okay ito na philippine-based na coin. Naisip ko nga na since may established partner na tayo sa crypto which is coins.ph, why not mag launch sila ng sarili nilang coin, makakapag remit, transfer, load ka na, bills payments pa tapos to include payment for travel and hotel accomodations.

I would go more for ICOs that would address signifcant needs of our society.  Not so much on the new coins i guess kse the existing ones nga are not yet that patronized by our market.

Nakakaiyak talaga at napaka mahal pa! 5Mbps for 30 dollars eh yung 100Mbps dito sa US 70usd na at may kasama pang cable channels.

Siguro it's time pero ang tanong if ready na ba tayo and if ever na magkaroon tayo ng sariling ICO dapat it will lead by known and experience people and pang long term dapat ang plan hindi yung after makakuha ng pera eh bigla na lang mawawala. And if that will happen this will be a shame for all Filipinos. We really want our own coin that we can be proud of and not to be ashamed of.
