I would pay for things with Bitcoin, but I'm down on my initial investment. Psychologically, it makes it hard to spend rather than wait until at least breaking even.

I have spend some of my coins in some gambling sites buy i try to avoid it as much as possible because Bitcoins are worth allot of money and can even be worth more in the future. So I suggest that you do not spend to many.

I am not spending my Bitcoins now and that is because you also already can see now that there are more people that is holding it for a nice price increase and that would be perfect for us.
But of course it is really hard to predict what is going to happen with the Bitcoin and that is bad.

I can't use my bitcoins actively cause i am wating for halving, better to keep myself far from bitcoins till halving come. Or it will be wasted on useless things.

Just dont forget your password.  Grin If that is the way of you keeping it then that is good. We are expecting for a rise, but many of us are profiting in trading altcoins. Better learn that also because there in only takes a little time to make some bitcoin.

Me either, I'm not actively spending bitcoin today. Because of the coming halving. I'm hoping for the price increase of it. I'm just enduring and staying away to buy my wants. But once the price increased, its payback time and I'm going to buy my wants.

a little patience is better, everyone is sure halving will make the price increase. I did not expect so high, $500 is enough for me Smiley

I dont want to spent my bitcoins because there are allot of people who do and i dont feel that i need to do it. If others spent them i dont need to just waiting for a increasing moment and dont know if im going to sell them on that point maybe in about 20 years.

Don't go with the flow if the people does spend money with bitcoins. Spending actively will just make your money wasted easily. You need to consider on the things that you need to buy, and it is better to save money
as you can so that in case of emergency you have something to pull to your pocket.

for the few places that do accept bitcoin, do you currently spend the coins you hold at any of them?

I know places like www.takeaway.com accept bitcoin and i even heard CEX.co.uk accept bitcoin in stores now too, but does anyone spend the bitcoins they have or do most just onto hold them? (Or gamble them lol)

I wonder if there will ever be any retailers that only accept bitcoin.
There are many services/merchants/shops accepting bitcoin right now, and the number is growing. The problem is that usually payment with bitcoin is not widely announced and are often hidden under debit/credit, paypal and bank transfer method of payment. Usually you can chose bitcoin payment only if you are finalizing your purchase.
i never spent my coins you need to hold them and wait for the best moment to sell them. That would be many times better then when you want to sell them now and does not make any profit out of it why did you buy them in the first time.

We all want to spend our coins but the fact is spending with bitcoin is very limited at this stage, so I am not spending it just keeping it safe for the future.

True but knowledge in trading is the hard part. To what coin will you trade it (if you are in altcoin) you  would need some knowledge if that coin will really grow its price.

You just need to ask the trading experts and get some insights from them. And if you see their advice would be helpful to you, then absorb it.
But if you think it won't , then just leave it.
Trading needs to have a wise decision, so that you will earn even 5% from your investment a day.

Its always good to seek guidance from the experts at initial stage and it will clear your many doubts and make easy for you, and the if you are comfortable with it you can continue or else ignore it.

it was nice to not spend your bitcoin for something that is not important. but I prefer to spend it in a way to exchange it for fiat and save money in the bank. when the high price I would take the opportunity to sell, but if the price is low I will continue to hold for the next few years

I will use it when the price is high. That is the same as selling it but not sell directly. So it will help the usage.

Yeah I think holding it will be good to hold our coins for some time at least till the halving  and its better not to spend our coins till we see the higher price.
because most bitcoin users are an investor or a trader to obtain and collect bitcoin for profit. This makes only a few people who choose to spend their bitcoin. This is reasonable because most of the time of initial adoption is due to the high price of bitcoin. I'm sure a lot of people it is a trader

Trading is a good way to multiply your coins, and everyone wants to try their luck on it to earn some extra profits over a period of time and is quiet reasonable.

Yeah, because of the coming halving most of the people are just holding their bitcoins and doesn't use bitcoin often. Because they know that after
the halving it is a good way to increase the price and also their profit.
