Hi Everyone,

As advised I am trying to learn the basics of crypto first.

Most of the suggestions mention investing in top ranked coins. My question is, does it always work? As far as I understand, the market is vulnerable and affects almost all the coins from top to bottom. How then you determine which ones would stay ?

I did it all, but usually I chose the top 100 altcoins, I think it works and can generate big profits, I know that crypto has an ever-changing value, you only have to think calmly in trading, all trades are sometimes profitable and sometimes harmful.

Top rank coins also do not guarantee success in investing because all coins have a price, and that price can go up and down, but in the case of top-ranking coin investment has the potential to rise even though it is now down.

Yes, it is recommended to invest in TOP coins, but the investment needs to be seen as a long-term investment. As long as you do not panic and have patience, the profit will come. I recommend (personal opinion) to invest large sums in top coins and smaller amounts in ICO projects, which are very fluctuating. Investing in ICO projects is risky, but it can also bring substantial profits. The price of an ICO coin may increase 500 times as well, while top coins are more stable and smaller oscillations.

I don't care about top or not rank of some altcoin for investment or trade, I am always check how potential could be on higher price because I think ranked is not important because really sure is how could some altcoin can higher price.

Yes, I only invest the top 100 ranking cryptocurrencies in the coinmarketcap, and I want to say don't invest any new altcoins if you know it, I have many time invested the new altcoins, the price only growing after the listing, otherwise, it never grows again.

Going for a long-term hold for those coins that are below the top ranks. My boundary of choices goes from 10 or at least 20, where I mostly day trade those as intended. Below 20 is simply a long-term hold now, and I don't focus that much on investing large quantities of alt coin. My long-term investment ranges from $10 to 20 depending on how enthusiastic I am in that coin.

It works perfectly if the coin you try to invest has a huge demand in the market and something that gives FOMO to the investors. We can see this kind of situation by a coin that has a huge marketcap value. The coin will give you a good price since its demand is strong.

It is better to have a stable and reliable coin in your portfolio than to keep many altcoins, which can collapse at any time. It is foolish to hope for their crazy growth.

if top ranked coins means the ones in top 10 at coinmarketcap site, it is a good way of investing. because they are mostly stronger with higher volumes, so they are more far from manipulations comparing with the others.

The top coins are manipulated just as much, if not more, it's just not as transparent as it can only be conducted by big whales or syndicates with millions on millions of dollars at their disposal. To answer the question, I mostly stick to well known coins and also invest in a few smaller alts but with much less invested in to them because of the higher risk involved.

For long-term it is better we choose in top cmc, this avoids the presence of delist in the exchanger or scam. However, if for shorm term we may also try to invest in ICO with the record must always follow their development from the beginning but most investors ICO now only leverage FOMO to hit and run.

I will say yes cause it's more save than the new token in cryptocurrency now, as many are scam and turn out to first boom and in short time no where again, but the most of the top token and coin and for long term which is more save .

We all know that no one can predict which coins was be profitable in the future but for me  bitcoin and ethereum is the best to invest in.We don't afraid also to lose our money that we invest what coin we had because investing is gamble sometimes you lose and sometimes you win.

No, I just don't invest in only top ranked coins. I usually buying new tokens with the little parts of my money which i believe it have a good future. Because the risk of investing in these new tokens is higher, but the profit can be huge.

To invest in all coins. You need to have the skills of traders. And to understand in detail the device projects. It's complicated. This is very risky. By this I choose only the best coins.

In the top ranking of the coin should invest in the long term. Get the X-5, buy the young altos. (It's risky.)

Normally, I usually pay attention to the highest rated electronic currency. But this is only a small aspect of choice. My interest and choices are mainly based on the results of project research, market research and feedback from surrounding communities.

Take your time to learn about crypto and the associated risk it brings. Don't rust because crypto is not a bubble that will burst. Smiley

Most of the suggestions mention investing in top ranked coins.
That is because top ranked coins are somewhat established and somewhat stable though volatility still plays but it is unlikely to pump or dip abruptly. That is why it is risky in here so make a research on your own then continue with the knowledge that you have if you want.
