choosing the top coins is better and very reliable for future investments such as bitcoin and ethereum, without any doubt in price, volume but the risk we experience is very fluctuating prices. I am traumatized by investing in small coins that have no value and sometimes these coins disappear and disappear without volume in the marketcap

Investing in a coin with the highest rating always means following the crowd. It also means buying a loose coin, which is unlikely to bring a big profit. In cryptocurrency, you need to try to determine a new inconspicuous coin or token that is capable of rapid development and therefore large price growth.

50% BTC, 15% XRP, 15% ETH
10% Chainlink, 10% Micro caps such as BRAP and IEO investments
You Should have  certain percentase,That price will be close by market. you only invested 15% for ETH and did same for xrp. When i have calculating it, better you put 50% BTC, 35% for eth and 15% for xrp, then forget it that other thing. but, it your choise and  money.

And what other opportunities do we have today?  It seems to me that every cryptocurrency user has the impression that if you want to keep your assets and make at least some profit in the current state of the cryptocurrency market, then your choice should consist only of the highest-rated cryptocurrencies.  After all, all other cryptocurrency in the cryptocurrency market is in a very poor condition.

Hi Everyone,

As advised I am trying to learn the basics of crypto first.

Most of the suggestions mention investing in top ranked coins. My question is, does it always work? As far as I understand, the market is vulnerable and affects almost all the coins from top to bottom. How then you determine which ones would stay ?

If you are a beginner but strive right now to invest in cryptocurrencies, then of course, first of all, you need to consider coins from the top. But, as a more experienced trader than you, I can tell you with confidence that in most cases the main profit comes from the rest of the coins. But in order to correctly select a potentially profitable coin, you will need knowledge and experience.
That is why I recommend that you start investing with top coins, and after you get the necessary knowledge and experience, look for other coins to earn money on them.

80% of my innvestments are in top coins and other investment in good projects where team is working on there product , i am doing like this only i think this is the safest way rather then investing everything in new coins and ipo and risking entire capital
When you hold more stable coin, that's more safer, but you are not exempted when there is a market dump, you have to bear with it, the good thing with holding top coins is they don't easily loss investors, unless there is a serious problem.

With good liquidity, this is a sign that it's good for long term because big exchanges themselves would not list a coin that they believe won't attract trades.
Commission is their main income, more traders means their business will be profitable.

Yes, I always invest in the top ranked coins basically in the top50 coins. But in these coins I invest very few amount of funds. But I always in search for the highest or the decent traded volume with lowest price coins and invest there.

So how your investments are doing ? So far I've put my money in EOS, NEO, Waves and so far I'm in a loss Smiley
The only coin I got profit was XRP, I've bought when it was 0.40 cents and sold at the price of 0.53. But dont think that the price will be close to 0.40 cents soon...

Livecasino, 20% cashback, no fuss payouts.
Yes and no. I have in the past invested specifically in low ranked coins by market cap but anybody now knows that's a newbie mistake. I've learned all my lessons regarding that.

That said, if I see a coin I like I go for it, I don't even look in ranks to see where it is anymore. And that said, I hardly ever like a coin anymore.

People tend to hype the top ranked coins because it is more known and popular but I am not like them. The chance of getting big roi in those top ranked coins is very small compared to small cap coins in the rank between 100-300. Top rank coins can only be profitable in a altseason bullrun but it does not happen every year unlike random coins that can explode to a 100x.

sometimes not, but mostly I do invest in coins at the top. but if there is a new coin that has the potential to be profitable I can buy it. but more often I invest in top-ranking coins because it's easier to trade in the medium or short term.

It is very good to buy a potential coin in the market which is actually generating very good volumes in the market. Now altcoin prices are kept decreasing which it is a very good sign for the investors to grab potential coin because the value of those coins went very low in the market.
Investors prefer to buy a lot of altcoins instead of buying safe crypto assets. The volume is increasing on each altcoin trading that will be a new accelerator for the next wave of uptrend continuation. The value estimation is usually handled by the hired professional by the big investors who check out each possibility one by one. Potential coins never stay out of the attention, from my experience.

As for me, my investment strategy is a bit different when it comes to investment in coins. I do not pick up only top ranked coins for investment. I look at potentiality of coins at first. Investing in top ranked coins is good. But new coins with much potentiality can also give much profits.

In my opinion, everything from the top 10 coins is simply more likely to remain in the market. Because they have a lot of fans and they are famous all over the world. What can not be said about the coin which is in 1000th place.

The top-ranked coins have better price stability than lower-ranking coins.  because these are big and famous coins.  for me to invest in Cryptocurrency, we don't have to hold on to the top-ranked coins, but to coins that have high potential that we have to buy.  New coins with high potential, have a chance for prices to go higher than top-ranked coins.

of course it's because investing the top coins the risk level isn't too great and the results are also promising. than you invest new coins it will be very big risk to lose money and the results that will be obtained also does not guarantee to be like the results of investing the top coins
For any altcoin, I check and explore it thoroughly to avoid investing in trash coins. With the Coin in the top, it will limit part of your risk but in my experience it doesn't bring much profit.

Always go for the top ones which are still Bitcoin and ETH, I have over 60~70% of my portfolio on Bitcoin as it has lesser risk and a higher chance of growth. And as per your question, altcoins doesn't always work the way you want them but you can see if the coin is serious with its growth by them making efforts to have real partnerships and not just verbal. Those ones have high volume in Binance and are really promising.

Top-ranked coins are safe to invest. But if you want to play something new to make more profit then sometimes you may invest in a reputed coin which is not top-ranked. Sometimes you may lose, So, to avoid loses, you have to pick the reputed coin, not an unknown random coin !!
- Well, the top ranked coin is always safe for new people who want to start, even for old investors, that is not an outdated option either but when we acted on this option, we should remember that the profit will always be very limited when too many people are doing the same thing, the pump will need a lot of time and factors to be able to start. But some people don't want to follow the trend, want to create a new path for them, help them make more money, they will rarely choose altcoin top, focusing on the land that few people pay attention to, they will make money easier

There is no sense of security in investing in altcoin or bitcoin. because the price movements are so volatile and if we look at the current price of Top altcoin itself also experienced a significant decline too, so indeed we must be careful in the election
