Generally not, but sometimes they don't help but worsen the situation, sometimes people hold on to their religion thinking that it will help them but actually  they are just being brainwashed and worst they are just earning to give in to the all expenses paid of their leaders. Sometime we don't realize that those leaders are living like kings while their members are like slaves.

I have to disagree with what you have posted. Certain religions preach that anyone not believing in that faith will go to hell after his death. And even worse, there are certain other religions, which will offer 72 virgins to anyone who murders infidels. So it is wrong to say that the religions does not teach anything bad. There are a lot of examples to prove otherwise.

I think not all religious people are bad and not all of them are good. All humans are different and not perfect.

Not all are bad, some are still ok, why i said this is because any religion does not teach anybody to be bad, its just people that want to be bad by themselves.

You are publicly admitting that you are easily convinced of anything, and you will probably be targeted by some scam artists. 

I admit that i am not that religious a person but my religion teaches me to be good to God, to others and to my self. I dont see any bad teachings in my religion so i dis agree with you.

I thought that "forgiveness" is unique to the Catholics. As far as I know, the evangelicals and the protestants don't give much importance to it (at least in the United States). Anyway, there is a lot of propaganda going on with this subject. Once I watched a movie called Dead Man Walking, which dealt with the Loretta Ann Bourque / David LeBlanc murders. The director tried his best to put forward his cause. But I found it repelling.

Religious people are out of touch with reality.  They claim to hear voices in their head that tell them to do things.

Most serial killers/rapists etc are religious.  They believe they can do whatever they want, then simply pray for forgiveness.  :/

No, I do not think so. All people are different, everyone has his own habits, his own opinions, his "cockroaches" in his head And then, they belong to one or another religion, does not make them more or less evil or good. Everyone believes in something, dreams about something and hopes for something. It's just that someone believes in their strength and who is in the higher. This is their right.

I don't think religions are bad. It is all the deceitful figures behind all types of religions. It is given that people have different religions, however, leaders of each of them claim that their religion is the best and others should turn to and convert into their religion. This only brings confusion to us people, who are fed with that mentality. Religions are supposed to be our guide on how to live a righteous life. I also hate the fact that some followers take things literally from the bible and resort waging holy wars.

For me religious people is not all bad..it depends what religion they have...because as a Born again christian we believe in JESUS IS LORD OUR GOD....we are not rely in our religion but thru our LORD JESUS CHRIST... some religious people are also bad...because some religious wasnt believe in JESUS our LORD,but they believe in GOD that made a stone....statue and etc.so they dont know what is forgiveness and they dont know the salvation...

No, I don't believe. The reason is that every people is not bad but a few people who are not in the right path and doing all the bad works are bad. So, we can't tell bad the religions because there is no religion where ordered to do the bad works that is why we should not tell the religions bad.Only the people who are doing the bad works are bad and they should get punishment.

quite a long long time. History might have disclose a portion of their
deeds but they've done there part. Religion isn't bad but some people

religion is the faith, we can't command people, what to believe in...it becomes bad when it turns into abusive or dangerous actions, this can be in fanatics...fanatics should be avoided

In my opinion religion is not a bad thing. Some people need something to believe in. Religion is a good help.

No mostly religious people are just bound of what they believe in which their faith intervenes. They would either correct or defend their faith and most people dont like it when they do it because it might be because it is offensive

Short answer. Yes. Religion is bad.

explanation: Religion is not made of god. Its made of people who are looking for answers in their mind about their existence, how the environment is made, who made it, who does the earthquake and such disasters and why, etc in the first place. It's made of the human because it is not perfect and its words can be manipulated by the poisoned brains which can lead them to make bad things and they use the religion as an excuse for their actions.

Some people kill the other people because "they are infidels, according to their beliefs"
Some people do not respect your opinions because "according to their religion" its bad.
Some people doing pervert things like having sexual interactions with an underage person because "god lets them."

Many people can get angry to me for saying things like above, they are, of course, open to all kinds of discussions but thousands of people doing this thing in real life. All of the things above.


So it's not perfectly suited for wide usage. That's why religion is bad.

Because people are bad, likes to do bad things. And religion is an excuse.

From my personal perspective, as an atheist, The world would be a better place without religion but today, I have seen lot of people who would do lots of bad things if they dont believe in god. So that's good for all of us. 

Religion isn't all that bad, it can inspire and make people better human beings. Take Christianity for an example, they push people to become better people and love one another. I think that's a beautiful thing.

No but i belive that There are good people in every religion, but those who are bad, they are truly deviated.
