I saw this rating and think that all ratings are partly subjective and everyone should think youself and analyze projects only based on such ratings, not listening them as the most significant indicator. I trust ratings, but don`t think that they are always right.

I don't believe in crypto rating anymore whether it's from rating platforms or from people, everyone has his or her own reason why they will rate a coin as 1st or 2nd on their list, I have my own reasons to rate a coin too, it's all about different understandings

I find it funny that people still find these rating sites useful when it has to do with finding out thorough details about projects and ICOs. They are paid to promote what they do and its obvious that you can't get unbiased opinions or recommendations from them. It is best to find out more by taking proactive action. This way, you can know for certain.
yeah of course that's why i don't trust any ICO rating site, i just searching at this site just for research and searching info about few project and research them by myself

Whenever I read these charts and graphs like this I always wonder to myself if they just suck this out of their thumb and just take a guess tally it up and round it off and give that as the answer? They say they use methods or algorithms or "intensive research" but would anyone know the difference between that and if I just made up a lift and took half-educated guesses? That's why I don't trust these things. I take what they say and think about it but I won't make it change my mind about something. At the end, of the day you need to think for yourself and what is best for you.

I know that on ICObench you can find wrong ratings, but some sites gives good information, also I cant trust on 100% in any ratings, of course it could be manipulated. Also even name McAffee sometime used by not honest projects

I'm aware there are several rating websites, but I'm not quite sure of their authenticity because I know they could be easily influenced by any concerned individual willing to pay the price. There is no doubt that some of the ratings could be true and helpful.
It's not about website but it's about the crypto rating that has already published by a company that works on china. I have been seeing several times some organizations have released their own result about the crypto rating for the popular coin in china and I could not say that's 100% can be trusted by anyone.

You cant trust up something that can easily be manipulated since we know the reputation of these crypto rating sites are really not that good ever since they have issues on receiving up money just for a project
to have some good reviews or ratings which do really mislead investors to believe that they are dealing with a good project but actually they have been lured in to invest and lost up money in the end.
There are several ICO review sites that had been known or popular back in the past but as days goes by their reputation had been tarnished with this kind of issue thats why people cant really just
trust up on whats being suggested or written there.

I don't trust any of the cryptocurrency rating agencies since there is a huge disparity in their report. Lackluster like that because every agency has a different agenda and using their rating report to push something with half true, half wrong or sponsors' content.

Maybe I used it as part of the analysis when I was going to invest in a coin, but of course I didn't use it as the main benchmark. I prefer to see it for myself on the exchanges listed and see more news in the forums that they have or others.

Cryptocurrency ratings depends on the location on where they are being publicly used. We know that there are some Cryptocurrencies that is specifically being used in specific countries and in that moment, if it is valuable in their country, it means that it must be the number 1 Crypto that is usable in their country.

Cryptocurrency ratings depends on whichever is really useful to us but some ratings are really worth to read because we can see on what Cryptocurrencies we can invest on.

It's a shame, back in 2017 you can easily use ico rating websites to make the right choice when choosing new ICO projects to invest on but things aren't the same anymore, scammers burnt ICO and everything involved ( ICO ratings) to the ground, whatever ratings you come across you have to do your own research, do not trust ratings

of course this can not be trusted 100% but this can be made to measure the potential of the project indicated scam or not. then from having a crypto rating, it can help investors to find and choose projects easily if he wants to invest their money.

Yes i believe every top altcoins but i never believe ICO/IEO rating point for a new project. There hasn't not trustful rating site right now because every site has paid options for increase trust rating Grin. If you want investing in new project then no need follow rating site even instead you should project roadmap with partnership. After all i aware everytime in my assets so i can't spend in fake project.

I see big differences between these two big rating agencies CCID (The China Center for Information Industry Development) and WeissRating. According to CCID is Bitcoin one of the worst cryptocurrencies. In WeissRating Bitcoin has achieved the best mark. Also, EOS in WeissRating has a pretty different rating. How can they get so different results?
The thing is that they can’t give the same ratings. It’s just like coming to this forum and asking people to rate their favorite cryptocurrencies, knowing very well that everyone is not going to mention the same cryptocurrencies; some are going to rate Ethereum over EOS, and some will choose EOS, and some will go for NEO, and others – BTC. It’s just like that, everyone wouldn’t say the same thing.

These two institutions you mentioned are two different institutions, and their teams will have preference for different cryptocurrencies. It’s just like a recommendation, they are telling you what they feel is the right cryptocurrency for you to invest in, so it’s up to you still decide what’s best for you.

for cryptocurrency ranking results, data can be manipulated at any time for various reasons, such as sites from the current ICO ranking, so to compare them, you can match them with several other sites.

So far I trust cryptocurrency ranking only on the coinmarketcap site, because other than that I still lack trust in cryptocurrency ranking. sometimes people assume crypto ranking based on their own experience without examining detailed studies, especially if there are sites like CCID that say if Bitcoin is the worst value, I don't think this makes sense.
I trust most of the rankings as long as they are open about what are they measuring and how is it calculated.
Chinese ranking does not share this info so I tend to not believe in it

Yeah, you are seeing different ratings because the platforms that are rating are completely biased. The ratings are based on "opinions of some small group of people". That is why you see different ratings on different platform. I also expect to see trashy coins on the list, since those list makers get paid for promoting those coins.
China not keeping bitcoin on number one in their list is the least surprising thing to me.
