I would not consider it as a 100% that we can just blindly believe in this rating. Instead we should be using our own research and accordingly invest in any coins and should be using some basic rules like only investing limited which we can afford to lose it. Not to invest in just one coins etc. Rating can just be a parameter while investing but should not be the only parameter on which decision is taken.
Yes for beginners maybe they should just take a look and use it as a reference to get saved from future scams by choosing a good Cryptocurrency over a bad one. For veterans maybe this don't hold much value because they have the right mind along with knowledge to invest in good performing coins and also in those coins that have a good potential to outperform other coins in the future.

Yes your right. I agree with you. We should probably not totally based on them but rather we should do our own research and it could help us to identify which project will be great for our choice. This rating will always there either its paid or not, its all for us whether we follow it or not. Sometimes its not accurate but sometimes I agree with this crypto rating. There's a case that they will not listed the tokens that they like then there the one who invest to them to dump it and it better for them to buy in a cheaper price.

Crypto rating review quality sometime not accurate, moreover on popular review site which is sometime paid by developers team to give good rate. Rating an ICO project high doesn't guarantee it will succeed more than those that are rated less. Some of the top rated ICO's can end up as scam. The best rating is the rating you did by yourself not by others

Do I believe in crypto ratings, I think I do, but it's just for informative purposes, like I know that bitcoin is on top and that have better rating than others, and it's the same for every other coins. Last call is what I see on exchange, sell and buy orders!
There're many informative sites, and you can trust them to some point, but never fully and never with all your money! Crypto is full of different projects, and we can try anything, and its good to try new things, but you need to be careful with that and to know how to make an approach and not get hurt if things go sideways.

They have ways to identify and evaluate a technology of different businesses. But for the crypto market, I'm not too concerned about the technology of altcoins. I only care about their community and how they benefit investors. the fact that their technologies do not apply much in our daily life, so their technology updates are just good news to increase the price of coins, I will take advantage of that. In the crypto market, technology is something quite trivial.

Traders won't easily be brag these baseless ratings. It can be just a manipulated result but that was difficult to spoil people's mind because they know already the real market position. In this kind of market, we can't deny many exchangers will do the same as it the way to diverts people's interest but somehow it won't make sense since we all know what coin/s really have the potentials.

Don't be deceived by all these so called ratings because most of them are subjective. I don't really believe in any rating, I just make choices based on my discretion. The world is so corrupt that you can believe whatever any organization is just coming up with and that is why we have differences.
I do agree with you about this and i remember when they were putting ethereum below EOS and TRON. They were saying it based on their opinion. There was no a lot of people were using EOS and im still having a lot of doubtfulness about the credibility of such rating.

snip..
This rating or ranking is solely based upon their own factors that may be different from what a common investor or user is looking for, my personal assesment is that they have given a lot of weightage to speed of transactions and the smart contracts also seem to have some weightage so nothing to worry about btc is still the king.
of course, Bitcoin is still the King and always will be..  as explained @Yogee: The ratings above are only based on the performance of each of the Blockchain on each platform.  I personally believe 75% of the ratings above are right..

Don't be deceived by all these so called ratings because most of them are subjective.

Most of them are subjective indeed, there are rating site where the owners are receiving money from the
developers in order to have a good position from the site.

I don't really believe in any rating, I just make choices based on my discretion.

That's the right thing to do, base your investment according to how you fully understand the project, with
good research and study you'll be able to pick the right one.

The world is so corrupt that you can believe whatever any organization is just coming up with and that is why we have differences.

With how the market works by now, you should relied with your own understanding and never to entrust your
judgement with information that you've seen from rating websites.

CCID (The China Center for Information Industry Development)?? Of course, they are going to rate Bitcoin as the worst coin in the market, it's government-run service and it's manipulated, but the fact is Bitcoin lording in every market and on every other survey and still leading Google trend on Cryptocurrency most searched coin.

the name sounds reputable enough with that name i think they are really related to the government  but just becuase its related to government we can now expect a bad feedback ?  governments here on our country love bitcoin but to also that those country that legalized crypto   .

those rating are unreal because we all know how popular and good bitcoin was   .  its okay if they comment something bad for those coin that are not popular because people wont  easily find out if they are lying or not  .

This is unbelievable, Bitcoin rules in every aspect on what Cryptocurrency should be in terms of popularity, you can check the volume the price and the trend and in the search engine and Bitcoin is ruling all of them, and to think that it's coming from China, where Bitcoin has a lot of supporters and investors, it didn't reflect.
That is what happens with the China rating, and I don't believe with that. I believe that bitcoin is the number one in the cryptocurrency because bitcoin is a leader in the crypto, and all coins are behind on bitcoin. The crypto rating is only a rating, and we don't have to trust it because we have the market which gives the volume and another data, so we can see what coins that are good to buy.

some people doubt the ico rating site or the ranking of the coins.
but not all of them are fake or bad, I see the ICODROP site is a good rating site, because they only make a list of successful projects.

Hello,

I see big differences between these two big rating agencies CCID (The China Center for Information Industry Development) and WeissRating. According to CCID is Bitcoin one of the worst cryptocurrencies. In WeissRating Bitcoin has achieved the best mark. Also, EOS in WeissRating has a pretty different rating. How can they get so different results?

Crypto ratings doesn't matter anyway because they are centralized agencies which are rating the cryptocurrencies.
Consider a single entity telling you which cryptocurrency is the best. Why would it matter to you since you wouldn't bother about that single entity anyway.
You would do your own research and then invest in coin right. Similarly, these crypto rating are a myth in my opinion and it doesn't matter if any coin is ranked higher or lower in one of them. The global ranking is what matters in the crypto market since crypto itself is used globally.

Each person will have different ratings on several coins and I think this is reasonable. There are those who look at the speed of the transaction, but there are those who look at the liquidity side and I think there are still many factors that need to be considered in evaluating the performance and technology of the coin.

Results would really be treated to be on global scale and we know that those ratings are basing of into their own place or country which means each of them will really show up different numbers and ranking.
This is why i dont really trust or dont look with other ranking stats other than CMC itself.Yeah, cmc isnt even reliable on anything but at least this site shows the volume which would particularly reflect
on each coins demand, volume/ liquidity and where the market it is mainly traded. On answering about the question of believing on crypto ratings? On outside scope then its no.

I do not believe this type of rating, it is very hard to see if the rating is done fairly or with any kind of vice. It is also subjective as the projects have very different use cases and scaling possiblities
I think the best thing is still doing your own work and think about the different aspects of those projects and judge for yourself

It's hard to believe in ratings. I don't know on what basis they gave this rating and what is the medium of their research. Everyone has a different system for research. It is possible that these ratings have been manipulated. Because we have seen how has given ico's fake ratings and reviews. There were some firms and some websites that gave paid ratings. So I couldn’t fully trust this rating here. There may be a paid game behind this.
