Yes I believe in God since my childhood because God is the one who gives me everything what I needed.

You are mentally sick.  If you see or hear him you are  a schizophrenic.  Otherwise you are delusional.

I think that you should respect his faith and him, as person and human being.
We all live in free world, democracy and have right to believe what we want or feel.
If faith can inspire people to do something good for others, community, society, who are you to judge?
I think that we all search, in a way, for deeper meaning in our lives and wants to find absolute values in our lives.

I am not disrespecting anyone.  I just think religious people are delusional at best.
Schizophrenics when they hear or see God.

Just stating the fact.  God is not real.  It does not exist, nobody was able to capture any physical evidence of him, it or her.

If you have any physical evidence, post it.  Or better yet, ask God to post it.

All this 'God concept' is all in your mind.

So no, I would not hire a religious person as I would question his/her judgment.  Maybe for some menial jobs, it is ok to hire religious people but they should be closely monitored.

I think religious people are broken toys.

Something the invisible does not mean does not exist. There are many things that exist in this world but you can not see the form. For example, pain, when you are hit or anything that hurt you, do you see its form? Can you see how the shape of pain is? No, but you feel it because the pain is there. Another example, air, when the wind blows towards your body, do you feel it? Surely yes, then do you see the form of wind / air?
So also with God, you can not see it but God is there, God is real.
You judge religious people a broken toys like you're the best person.

Even looking at faith from a non-believing neutral perspective you should be able to understand why people say things like he does. It gives people strength because the act of praying is similar to meditation it focuses and reminds you of thing you choose to be important in your life. Its the reason why Islam seems to produce more crazy people than other religions, they have to pray 5 times a day. Imagine in your mind reminding yourself to do something or hate someone or entity 5 times a day, its no different than a cult. It does however bring good things to many people, pray and wish for happiness, pray and wish for strength etc.

Just because you don't believe doesn't mean you shouldn't try to understand those that do without your own personal bias.

Well i believe in god 3 times a day.. because god gave me a chance again to live long and all my wish are gradually happen in my life..
The first priority is god than my self..

I don't know if this one is a way of sarcasm. But if you really believe in God, there must be no finite limit on believing Him. Many people would say "I believe in God" but it was never seen in their actions. It is not enough that you know Him, you must also accept Him in your life. Have faith in God. Because His grace is sufficient and enough for us. We don't deserve His grace but He has given it to us. Have a deeper relationship with Him!

Potentially no finite limit. This doesn't mean that everyone - or even anyone - will exercise his faith to the fullest.

There is a trick in faith - believing. The trick is that you can't not believe. You will always have faith in the things that you believe in. And your faith will always be at the strength level to which you are set.

The basic, bottom-line of the trick is that you simply believe one way or the opposite. If you don't believe that you have faith, you simply have faith that you don't have faith. This doesn't mean that you don't have faith. but if you believe it strongly enough, you might destroy yourself.

What is your understanding of eternity? Have you seen someone who always suffers from or living in Paradise? How can you prove it? You already suffer because they are forced by their beliefs to deny yourself all.

In Lies We Believe About God, we see Paul Young apart from the subjectivity of narrative. And as he proclaims what he denies and affirms, he outs himself as beyond the bounds of Christian orthodoxy. This book is a credo for false teaching, for full-out heresy. I do not say this lightly, I do not say it gleefully, but I do say it confidently. Christian booksellers should be utterly ashamed to sell this book or any other by its author. Christians should not subject themselves to his teaching or promote his works, for he despises sound doctrine that leads to salvation and advocates false doctrine that will only ever lead away from God.

Now that I have read Lies We Believe About God from cover-to-cover, one of its small statements seems to take on outsized significance. “To understand who God really is, you can begin by looking at yourself, since you are made in God’s image.” The man who wrote these words has exposed his own approach, for his God is obviously and unashamedly fabricated in the image of Paul Young.

We might be made in God's image, but we are not in the image that He originally made mankind.

The only reason we are still in the image of God after we fell into sin is, Jesus God came in the form of man, took the punishment (including death) for imperfection that was due us, and carries the whole human race.

In the coming Judgment, He (Jesus) will separate the people who are in favor of God from those who are against God. Those who are in favor of God will go on to everlasting life, while those who are against God will go on to damnation.

The power of money in our world stronger than the power of God which is not. Stolen money the bandits build temples, priests go to Mercedes, the pedophilia. Religion no longer served as a role model and therefore only a matter of time when it will cease to exist.

Do you believe in god? If you do, why do you believe? (give a few reasons)

I do believe in God who created the Earth and the Heaven. The way of life that let us live and experience this awesome world and help us endure our struggles in life. He should not be doubted by anyone and he truly exist in each of our hearts.

I hope he does not live in your heart.  It would interfere with blood pumping.  You would die shortly thereafter.

LOL. these are romanticized beliefs already and I don't you should take it that much literally. though I don't really think it's the old white guy with the white beard version, I actually believe that there is a god.  its hard not to believe considering that everything around you works in unison to sustain a living invironment not just for us but for all other life. even the way the universe works and how we're surviving on a rotating rock makes me believe that there is actually a god that orchestrated all these

Funny, have you seen how many poor people suffer and why do these poor people suffer?

Why would God allow so much suffering? Money and power became something like "god"

we can't prove with science the existence of God. known for his we have to believe and accept the existence of.

religious books of the prophets we must believe in the last day. Smiley
Lol! If science cannot prove the existence of God then why do you conclude that we should believe in him? Maybe Vice versa. Until it is proved that it is impossible to believe in it.

But science DOES prove the existence of God. Peruse these links, and then back it up with Internet searches:

Well this is a conversation I've read in a Facebook page, I don't know where is the real source of the article. This is a conversation of a professor and a kid. This is the article:
The Deepest Question: Who Created God.

Profesor: What is the origin of Everything.
Student: Everything si created by God.
Prof: How can you be so sure? Science had explained that everything originates from a single atom that spontaneously initiates the processes.
Student: Then where did that atom came from? It is imposible that it just came there all by itself.
Prof: As I said everything occured spontaneously. Energies were absorbed and emitted and untill now this is happening.
Student: But according to 1st Law of motion, There must be something or someone that will exert a force for a body to act or move.
Prof: Spoantaneous occurrence doesnt requires a doer or a force. Heat and Energy inside the atom is involve here.
Student: But according to 2nd law of Thermodynamics, there must be a work done for the transfer of heat ro happen.
Prof: So you are telling me that your God acted to the matter I am referring to?
Student: Yes sir.
Prof: Then Who created your God.
Student: Well God is Created by His God.
Prof: So who created the God of your God.
student: Sir, if i continue to answer we won't come to an end. God is of one eternal round, no beginning and end. Just like the law of conservation of energy.

I don't need an "Imaginary friend" to (think that) protects me, gives me hope and purpose. I don't need something imaginary to give me a purpose in my life. I find it stupid.

No, you don't need imaginary but true, real friend.
You don't need imaginary but true, real father.
You don't need hope or purpose but salvation of your life.
Do you think that you are creator or created being?
If you are created being than you need creator, god.

Sometimes, imagining a true real friend helps you to be one yourself.
Sometimes, imagining a true real father helps you to be one yourself.
Sometimes, imagining hope and purpose helps you to be exactly that.
Sometimes, imagining a creator helps you to be one yourself.

Sometimes, imagine that you really exist.     Grin
