The entire world itself is a testimony that Good exists, Just as humans make things, isn't there enough evidence that the things in this world was made by a supreme being who I will call GOD.
To date, very subtle and very correctly go two concepts between those who believe in God and those who are looking for evidence, either its existence or absence. I think that in general on this note it is necessary to end the confrontation between believers and atheists

Their is no conflict between believers and atheists. Why not? Because there aren't any atheists. There are only people who claim they are atheists.

Why aren't there any atheists? Because nobody believes that God doesn't exist. Any people who say so, really know that God might exist somewhere they haven't examined. This makes them to not be atheists, because of the definition of atheism.

Cool

You struggle with the definitions. All atheists reject the claim that there is a God.

Some atheists have strong convictions that there is no God (myself included), some say they don't know whether there is God or not.

But all atheists reject the claim that there is God.  Period. As such they don't have to prove anything.  They are not making any claims.  They are rejecting Theist claims.

Personally, I think there is maybe 1% chance that there is something that triggered the Big Bang, and 99% chance that it all has started by itself.

The 5000+ Gods described in ancient books do not exist for sure, IMHO.

Yes I believe in god because i am a christian. You know christianity is the most popular religion in the world because of jesus christ. And also i believe in heaven and hell. When You die you go to heaven when you are good and you go to hell when you are bad.

And the worst kind of "bad" is to not believe in Jesus-salvation.

Cool

And also, why do you want to go to heaven, go to God himself rather... You can end up back on earth anytime, whether you're on heavenly planets or on hellish, when your time is up for enyoment or suffering you fall back on earth... Serve him, and never come back in to this bad dream.

Because of the complexity of the universe, God is shown to not be able to lie.

This means that there is no reincarnation, 'cause God indicates only Heaven or Hell.

Take your pick.

Do you believe in god? If you do, why do you believe? (give a few reasons)

Yes i believe god.

1. God gave me help when I felt I knew what to do
2. I believe in God because he is the creator of this universe
3. I believe in God because I do not know what will happen in my future.

There are many more that do not enter my logic so I believe the god that is Allah SWT

These are some of my reasons why I believe in Allah SWT

Great answer brother.
You couldn't explain it better.
We need God in our lives because without God we don't have purpose or direction in our life.
Without God, we can't find true life, true love and ideal in our life.
Without god there is no true joy or happiness.
Without God there is no absolute values or absolute moral standards.

Definitely I believe in God...
There are many reasons to believe such a way, no one thing come along. Obviously there's a plan, and the whole thing is going according to the plan. There is only one God, but there are many names. Some people call Allah, some call God. So we have to read more documents to follow the right way. But the existence of God is out of questions.

I'm quoting merchantofzeny here because I think its the bottom line for me when it comes to all things religious, reverent, spiritual, awe-inspiring and "godly", including ""God"" and the relevance of believing in him or not.

Bold mine.

I treat people well because my mind is capable of anticipating how my action would affect them and feel how they will feel, because our brains have the capacity to allow us to "step into other people's shoes". Not because something commanded me to do so or because I'm expecting some reward from some invisible being who never made his existence obvious and who if it ever exists gives zero fucks on what the hell happen to humans.

The Conscious, Subconscious, And Unconscious Mind – How Does It All Work?

The best way I have found to illustrate the concept of the three minds is by using a triangle. If you imagine at the very tip of the triangle is your conscious mind. It occupies only a small portion of space at the top, a bit like an iceberg where only a fraction of it is showing above the water. It probably represents about 10% of your brain capacity.

...

The unconscious constantly communicates with the conscious mind via our subconscious, and is what provides us with the meaning to all our interactions with the world, as filtered through your beliefs and habits. It communicates through feelings, emotions, imagination, sensations, and dreams.

...

But to say the subconscious is unaware is plain wrong. It has been well documented that you can be influenced by your surroundings or what people say even when your conscious mind is totally out of it, such as when you’re under anesthetic or asleep. And what about when you drive to some destination but when you get there you have no memory of the trip. In those situations it’s your subconscious that stays aware and performs the necessary functions.

...

Unconscious is the term usually preferred by Psychologists and Psychiatrists to refer to the thoughts we have that are “out of reach” of our consciousness. It shouldn’t be confused with the medical term for unconscious, which basically means knocked out or anesthetized, although both definitions do have similar qualities.

Yes, I believe in God. Or rather the gods. In my religion there are a lot of them and everyone helps people in a certain sphere of life. All the good that is in my life is the consequences of the care of the gods

If there were many Gods, nature would fail. Why? They couldn't act together in every way to make something as complex as nature work. There is One God.

Cool

Or we are an ancestor simulation....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hmVOV7xvl58

something to think about when you count your Gods....LOL

It is definitely not your Osiris/Jesus myth....

The proof that God exists is shown here:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.10718395
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.14047133
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1662153.40
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.16803380.

And, in reality, this is just one little proof of many.

If you don't understand the proof, look at the evidence listed in the proof. It is the common evidence that anybody can understand. It's called nature. So far, God is the best, most realistic, explanation for the existence of nature that we have.

For those who understand the proof and the evidence of nature, believing in God is simply believing the things that He tells us. And none of it is against the idea that everything is a God-made simulation.

Cool

God is an answer. But unfortunately it is not the correct answer.

Try again.

It's almost a miracle that somebody like af_newbie, who seems so well versed in language usage in this forum, could be so lacking in simple scientific understanding, and in the ability to think deeply about nature. But the REAL miracle is that God lets him continue, with the hope that he will wake up.

It is possible to assume the idea that there are several gods in different life spheres and each is responsible for development in a certain area.

You can assume that the natural satellite revolving around the third planet of the star named "Sol" is made of green cheese, as well.

If you want angelic controllers, say it as it is. If you want God, look to the God Who runs it all.

I nor said yes or no. It's more complicated.

To make it short I think this is absolutely stupid to believe in the biblical god while we live in an era with full access to information and knowledge. This is unforgivable to still have faith in those tales.

HOWEVER, I'm highly spiritual and deeply think that first the Universe, and then Life, didn't came to existence by pure coincidence. Some sort of higher power ? maybe. Jesus ,allah  and so on ? Definitly not.

But we don't live in an era with full access to information and knowledge.

For example. Choose a leaf on the tree. Look at how it twists and turns in the summer breeze. Can you track even one of the molecules or air that helps it to twist and turn? But if you could track it, how far?... as it moves around the world? And can you selectively measure its relationship in distance to any of the other molecules of air surrounding it? Yet God knows it all, perfectly.

We are so behind God that we will never catch up, even if we try.
