Why not? There isn't much risk in doing so. Hedge your bets I always say.

And believe in ALL of them?

Imagine there were 5000 Gods that people believe or believed (I don't know the exact number, but let's say it is 5000).

Most believers today believe in 1 God and don't believe in 4999 'other Gods'.

Atheists go one God further and don't believe in 5000.

Believers and atheists agree on the existence of 4999 Gods but disagree on one God.

No. Atheists simply express that they don't believe in God. Some attempt to not believe in God, and some of these magnify themselves into a god-position by doing so.

All people are mixed up in some things. Atheists are simply mixed up in who they are magnifying as God.

Do you believe in god? If you do, why do you believe? (give a few reasons)

Yes,God is Real. The chances of all of this complex universe happening without the existence of an involved God who cares about his creation are less than a million billion to one.
No God is not real. I see not only confirmation of his existence, but rather see total chaos in the world due to the fact that the world no controls. I am sure that if God was he would not allow that now.

You are asking him to rebut proof of that god exists? That is bit too much to ask when there is no proof of that in the first place Grin
For me is proof that there is no God what the Bible says is only lies. On the background of the existing area of the Bible wrote stories about the fact that there never was. Is this not proof that there is no God.

So, forget about the Bible for a minute. Look at the scientific proof that God exists. Once you understand that God exists, then you can start to look for religious info about Him if you want.

The proof and evidence:

Earth is not an isolated system.
Entropy is not the same as complexity.
If you use cause and effect argument, you need to provide a cause for God.  God needs a cause or your argument is invalidated.

You got anything else?

Your God is really the 'unknown'.  It is definitely not a blond haired, blue eyed, English speaking Jew.

You would not have to 'believe' in something if there was a proof.

@BADecker

Do you believe in the existence of Thor, Odin, Buddah, Allah or any of the other Gods?

If not... why not?

If you do, then that goes against your religious teachings!
It seems to me that you cannot force a person to believe that it is not possible to prove. The majority of people just pretends to believe in God. How else to explain the fact that no one performs the commandments.

I remember that you have admitted that you can't prove god exist and it is all about faith.
Do I remember incorrectly or is your trolling just starting to fall apart?

Yes, I do believe that there is a God. We may not si Him but he is always in our presence, our faith will help us discover more things about Him. We cannot exist out of nothing, only a Supreme Being is capable of creating us and that is God.

Can you ask your Supreme Being to post here?

If he is not too busy creating crippled babies of course.  We don't want him to stop doing the Godly things he has been doing...LOL

God posted a whole lot of stuff in the Bible. Since you don't believe it, why should He waste His time posting something else, here, just for you, when you aren't going to believe it anyway?

Cool

Stop making excuses for your imaginary friend.

Be glad that God hides Himself from you. He does it to give you a chance to live long enough to come to believe in Him. If you don't do it soon, He will reveal Himself to you... and you won't like it. Why won't you like it? It will be in the judgment after your death, and you will wish you had believed the evidence and proof of His existence, because you won't have a chance to change your mind, then.

Cool

LOL.  Is he 3?  Playing peekaboo...?

You know, scientists estimated that it takes about 2 years to de-program someone who believes in Astrology.  Your case might take decades, or maybe you are a lost cause.

So believe whatever you want.  Just don't hurt anyone.

You poor baby. You haven't been able to more than begin to rebut the proof that God exists. So, you do the only thing you can. You simply spout a bunch of blather.

However, even though God doesn't give you any credit for this, I kinda do. The more you talk without rebutting the proof that God exists, the more you strengthen the proof in the minds of the readers. So, thanks for the help.

Cool
I don't think so. The more you raise the topic of evidence for God's existence, the more people will think about the fact that there is no evidence. Accordingly, the less will be the supporters of different religions.

The proof and the evidence is explained here;

Are you joining the others in not being able to rebut the proof?

Perhaps you can't even understand the proof. Just the same, not being able to rebut, makes the proof stand more firmly.

I gave you the reasoning. Bible history shows that this may easily have been so.

Cool

You gave me shit, Israelities were not bloody blonde
Hell, they're not blonde today when they have white genes

Of course, you lived back then. Or you have seen some snapshots of people from back then.

Haven't you figured out that change is occurring all over the place, around the world? If you believed in evolution, you would realize this.

Cool

Ohh, but you did live back then and you can tell me?  Smiley
I choose to believe relevant research instead of a random religious fanatic

And also common sense
Just because your little bigot mind doesn't want to believe Jesus wasn't ginger/blonde won't make him that way  Wink

The Bible is history.

In the O.T., the greatest king of ancient Israel, King David, is described as ruddy and handsome in appearance. Ruddy refers to reddish cheeks, something that is apparent regarding fair skinned people who are usually redheads, have sandy colored hair, or are blondes.

I didn't have to live back then. Bible history explains it for all of us.

^ In the second pic of the "woman's march" group I notice a little girl who carries a sign with a sunny smiley face, four purple hearts and the words beneath "Love the world!"  Out of all the pics shown, this particular image stood out the most to me. The little girl doesn't seem overly caught up with pro-life or pro-woman, but rather with pro-world. Interesting. I think the child is [a] God.
