I believe in God I do not go to any religious institutions and do not try to impose my faith on anyone. What do you want to expect from others.

I do. Though i kind of become a but logical about things, looking for scientific proofs before believing, I think everyone needs to believe that there is a god out there that harmonizes the universe. Think about it, the big bang, how organisms came to be, how we came to be through scientific evolution. All this could've been impossible without a hand orchestrating things to be the way they are. It can't just be all random

Yes, of course, I believe in God.
Few reason ? I think I don't need to give any reason.
Better read the bible for He talk to you through bible.
The bible will tell you, why you should believe in God.

Do you believe in god? If you do, why do you believe? (give a few reasons)

I believe in Jesus. I have seen Him work in my life in so many ways. I have received forgiveness of my sins and so I have peace. Trusting Him brings. My life is so much better. Yes, I have problems but He is with me through them. As humans we doubt, but the good news is that God is constant. I learned that the doubts about God are usually about His loving us, His faithfulness and His existence. Look around you at all that has been created, there is evidence of Him. Never doubt His goodness and faithfulness, instead, we should be asking why we are not sensing it? Is it because we have turned away from Him? I believe doubt comes from Satan. He whispers those doubts into our ears. He wants us to feel lost. When in doubt, tell Satan where you are headed and remind him where he is bound... he is defeated, crushed under Jesus's feet. Jesus is our defender. His love speaks volumes! He loves me and He loves you. There are so many reasons to believe, you only have to open the Bible and there is over a thousand good reasons. I was once lost, but now I am found.

Yes i do believe in God, according to science God doesn't exist but they do have a proof? let's think the universe how does it made? who made this? where does life came from? who made the molecules? we don't have any proof who made this because we can't study God we have a limitations. There's thing in the universe that we can't study. But 1 thing i know is that God really do exist

Someone here that would like to write an article or maybe a book about the subject? I have a nice title for you: The God that never was

Yes, men created "God" out of lust for absolute power over their fellow men. Now, finally, they are being stripped of their power to use "God" to rule us all.

The day of true emancipation has arrived dear friends. Don't keep the faith, but do spread the knowledge.
I also don't believe in God, but I do not share your optimism in this thread. Religion will long to control people. The worst thing is that in Western society is increasing the level of education and every year will decrease the number of believers, and the Muslims continue to remain uneducated. This vacuum fills the Islam and therefore, the number of Muslims will more than Christians.

There is one really intersing story I love  - for me it shows the essence of that discussion

An old Chinese farmer had a mare that broke through the fence and ran away. When his neighbors learned of it, they came to the farmer and said, "What bad luck this is. You don't have a horse during planting season." The farmer listened and then replied, "Bad luck, good luck. Who knows?"

A few days later, the mare returned with two stallions. When the neighbors learned of it, they visited the farmer. "You are now a rich man. What good fortune this is," they said. The farmer listened and again replied, "Good fortune, bad fortune. Who knows?"

Later that day, the farmer's only son was thrown from one of the stallions and broke his leg. When the neighbors heard about it, they came to the farmer. "It is planting season and now there is no one to help you," they said. "This is truly bad luck." The farmer listened, and once more he said, "Bad luck, good luck. Who knows?"

The very next day, the emperor's army rode into the town and conscripted the eldest son in every family. Only the farmer's son with his broken leg remained behind. Soon the neighbors arrived. Tearfully, they said, "Yours is the only son who was not taken from his family and sent to war. What good fortune this is..."

When I read the arguments of people who are trying to prove the existence of God I feel funny. I have the impression that they've escaped from the madhouse. There is no substantial evidence for the existence of God so I don't believe in it.

I think that there will never be evidence of the existence of God. The reason is that God is a subjective opinion and attitude of every person. Some simply do not believe in the fact that man was created by nature and there is nothing after death.

I think, you think, thinking means not knowing... You don't have evidence of God?? Well if you look at the nature, what is nature? nature is pure engineering, so? who is the engineer?

I can constantly give you proof after proof, but it's your fault if you don't want to accept what's a logical conclusion...

Substantional evidence???  GOD doens't care do you want to believe in him or not, THE ONLY THING THAT CAN PROVE THAT GOD EXISTS IS YOU FOR YOURSELF, you cannot show God to anybody else, because he reveals himself by his decision or should rather I say, God is there, God want's us to come home, but if you are looking some  substantional evidence, then be my guest and proove me that God doesn't exists...aAnd we can go like this forever... Like you are talking here and there, wee, wee, no evidence that God exists, but you have so many evidence that you can with a little logical thinking perceieve that there is something...

IF NOT, THEN BE LIKE ANTS, NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU TRY, OR HOW MUCH ANTS YOU WILL KILL ON THAT PATH, THE ANTS WILL STILL TAKE THAT PATH...

belief is the choice for people, we have our own choice, Catholic, Christian, Islam, hindusm ect,
the important thing whatever the religion, to kind, helpful not judging each other are need.

If you don't believe in God, you can think that religion is our choice.
If God exist, than religion is not choice but only way of life.
God is origin of life, love and absolute mortal values.
We can't find purpose of life without our creator, God.
If God don't exist, than man have no purpose, no direction in life, no absolute moral values to follow.
God don't judge people, he have only love for them.
We, people, judge each others and don't love others.
So, problem is on the earth, not in the heaven.

sorry before that, first, I don't say that i dont believe in god,
second, people has different belief that's why islam / cristiant / hindust ect is their choice to believe.
third, i dont say that god judge people, i mean whatever our religion, "please stay kind, helpful and not judging each other"
see.

is god created him self?

No, god does not create himself. God is not created, but God is already there. God is neither childbearing nor despised. God exists by itself. The only thing that exists but nobody creates, because God creates all that exists.

Of course I do, why? because i believe in Love and because I can feel His love and presence without seeing Him and just decided to have faith in Him. I still believe in Love even if I can't see it just because I can feel it and it gives me strength and courage knowing that He is there listening, watching and guiding my journey. Not losing hope because of believing is enough reason for me to acknowledge God.

yes i do believe in God because every wonderful thing that happen in this world that no one can explain is made by God...
with that everything is possible with God.
Everyone electing people and so know what to expect And what to expect from God. But if you take into account those skeptics who are inadequately told about religion, they definitely wait for some miracles that showed Issues during their lifetime. But we really understand that now no one is showing such miracles. Everyone believes only because of their faith.

Yes, I strongly believe in god, because he is all-powerful, he who gives us life, he also gives us death. Everything that happens to us is all of his will. So go through all his orders and stay away from his restrictions.

Every person has a very different kind of perepog, and completely characterize all equally does not make sense. Belief in God each has its own, someone believes fanatical, and someone in their own way, adhering to human commandments.
