Because in most cases religion is already a tradition and people themselves contradict what they believe. They even just can not explain where their religion came from and what it leads to.

How old are you? Because you obviously havent read anything about buddhism, christianity or islam. Or even about their history.

Religions full of contradiction were weeded out by natural selection. Only select few survived to present day. Not, because they can replace your math book, but because their teaching reflects laws of nature. Let that sink in.

Precisely, thank you. Adult will obviosuly benefit from the bible more, than a child as he can read between the lines. Religious text doesnt explain how something works (thats the work of scientists, that has been around for only the last couple of centuries), it is not manual to electronics. What it does is putting natural phenomena in context of our existence, teaching us how to treat it without disturbing nature itself. It teaches men of humility and of hope.

My reasons: Nature follows an orderly and precise pattern, so precise that you can forecast the whether. Scientific principles are based on the precise laws of nature, we have technology because nature can be counted on to behave in a particular manner ALL the time.

Ask yourself this question: "I am assuming that it makes you happy seeing your family not harmed in any way.
