Stable coins are a great addition to cryptocurrencies, howver we have not been able to develop one that has gained so much acceptance without any issues.Tether would have been a good deal but there are too many controversies as regard the audit or whether or not they are actually backed by Fiat.Havven is my choice,i hope it gains better acceptance.I am yet to research the other you mentioned.Minexcoin has not really achieved its goals also(it was designed to be some sort of stable currency)
This project is developing quite well and receiving much attention from the investment community. The market is recovering and this is the time for investors to select good projects to participate.

I'm not a fan of stable coins so I don't have any of it.

But it can be a good life saver when you want to flee from the pain that the market is showing. I think that's their main feature, to save traders when the market is shaking the weaklings.
This is on how i do see on these stable coins which their actual usage would be like this where you would able to convert yourself from alts or bitcoin itself to these kind of coins to avoid the volatility of the market but when it comes to profitability then i would say this is just a dumb coin to invest or purchase on. Only Tether i do recognize on the above listed and the others is yet unknown into my ears and i dont know where those coins came from.  Smiley
Yes there's no profitability in stable coins but if you can come up with few percentage growth with it and you are good then you may find a window to it.

The price I can see is it's few cents increase, like last time it was $0.99 per Tether and when it reached $1 per USDT you have few profit on it.

The nature of the crypto market makes stable coin not attractive. The hype is all about price swings. That is the beauty. So, to me, a stable coin is not for now.

No i dont believe in stablecoins. There are so many good coins in the market. High potential coins with promising growth available in the market. We have to choose that coins why would go for stable coins. Other than big coins we have to go for coins with small growth. Invest in those coins and wait for long time once the price will high then you can or hold the coin and gain more profit than you invest.

guys I would wait until nUSD launches with Havven. Then we will really see a use case with a stablecoin. I see the most potential in them because of the dual token system, team, and partnerships. great project IMO

Stable coin is needed to wait out the drawdown of the market someone uses Steem Dollar, bitUSD, NuBits coins to stay stable at the moments of market drawdowns but the volumes are very small. There is a Tether(USDT) with good volume and smooth reputation but they got problem with registration, the issue is under the Committee, who decided the issue of registration share your experience?  But there are still some coins which are backed by real assets, plants, factories etc in them, I believe it is much less but still as a temporary Spasenie from the pit can be viewed for a very short entrance.

the volability of the coin's price is unlikely to be stable, because its total supply remains. The value of a stable token needs a strategy from the developer to keep the price of the coin stable

Stable coins aren't that bad for sure. The fact that they're really stable means there is a good team working behind them. But I still prefer investing in not really stable coins but coins that have a future. Specifically the coins that are really cheap so you can buy and produce more profit.

I'm really curious to see if everyone believes in stablecoins. To name some, there is Tether, Havven, Basis, and Makerdao. Which one is your favorite? Mine is personally Havven.

Sometimes it feels like I'm the only one rooting for stablecoins. I think they're truly the way to mass adoption.

Those are like mine under the tower. From one side crazy volatility and bear market makes traders to stay in this marker (only talking about tether) and it is extremely hard to avoid losses without usdt. But any time it can cancel for any reason and that could lead to the wiiiide market collapse.

I have very big doubts about Tether. They print money from the air, and this money is not guaranteed. I also read the news that Tether owners have problems with the SEC.
Tottaly agree with you, I wouldn't trust Tether
