Most of them are Jews-owned, or leftist-owned, and so are just pure propaganda. Some nice medias are not controlled. They're all from far-right.

Source? Show company and owners religion/political orientation

I don't easily believe what the news say. Some news are manipulated by someone in power so I don't believe sometimes what is shown in the news. Let's just say I find proof first before believing.
I agree with you coz i saw it in my own eyes some media here are bias when it comes in newscasting. Thats why our President dont trust those 3 major stations here in our country.

No, in my country (news) media is politic weapon.
Some big parties has a (news) media channel.
But, some media are politic-free --> I love them and I 90% believe their news

Well, I watch the news but I don't believe everything I hear.
All this media companies have some agenda behind, left or right wing, and they try to influence people with it.
It's really very hard many times to find out what is truth and what is lie.
Many times, it's better to talk with the people directly, if possible, in order to find out real facts than believe what you hear in the news.
Most media companies are not professional any more.

Why waste time watching the news ?! Almost all TV sales. On this, there is no way of knowing the real state of affairs in their country and around the world. Personally for me, it's enough to know that the world is silent with respect to military operations.

Yes, I believe in them especially if it was featured on television and again to yahoo.  Wink  You will see it when it is just a hoax or just a makeup news.  But I would not believe articles came from social media sites that can be photo shop or can be edited.  If I ever saw one news that is bothering me I will search it to internet and validate it if it really happened or exist.

It depends on the type of media you are getting the information from. The most effective type of advertising for me is the television. As long as proper documentations and proofs are shown, news will be believable.

Or do you think media is independent ?
Sometimes I think media can alter peoples perspective on things. A lot has been prejudiced by this. an example i saw that in syria its always war, but there actually its not. media just dont make some news about the peaceful syria.

News right now I think tend to be a bit selective in what they're telling people. I mean, i'm not generalizing here but let's face it, you can't believe 100 percent of the news you hear everyday

Media is independent, but at times due to political threatening goes one sided, though they don't wish to go with unlikely statements. In my view media is the strongest force that has the ability to change the world.

Are people really better off knowing what is happening around the world or even locally for that matter? Does shedding a few tears over atrocities you witness on TV really make you a better person? The question then becomes, what do you do with all the knowledge you soak in from the media?

No dude. Its nothing emotional. Lets say i wanna go smw to work. Of course i would like to know facts like whats happening in that country, i would also like to know what is happening in my country when im away tho. (just an example)

I believe the news, they do not always publish outright lies. But then I do not listen to the tabloid magazines who have a hard time distinguishing between facts and fiction.
