Hey guys, do you buy altcoins which are not top 100 of Coinmarketcap? Isn’t it risky to invest in them? Want to hear your opinion!

According to me top 15 altcoin with highest total cap altcoins will be good to buy but you should be updated.
And they are listed coin on exchanges and these kind of token are famous . You have one more opportunity i am a ICO investor and in these days i found IEO is becoming more popular because of its security mostly ico is switching from ico to IEO .

One of my invested project that is Authpaper it is also going to launch IEO and this is the great thing to me because there tokens will comes under security and they can proove that they are genuine and it is worth to invest in it .

I myself do not think too much about whether the coin I bought must be included in 100 CMC, because in my opinion it does not guarantee us in getting a profit, I prefer to buy coins which I think are good in terms of projects and usability

Of course all depends on our investment goals, if for the long term, buying top 10 in coinmarketcap is a good and safe thing, but in the long run, buying not top 100 is too risky.

There is no harm in buying coins ranked below 100 in the coinmarketcap. when you need the coin, and have a clear team and prospect, I think it's quite reasonable to buy it. however, if you invest, maybe 100 coins and above are good enough.

It is risky ofcourse, top 100 coins too are risky but not as risky as the 100 up ranked coins.Top 100 coins we are sure that their team is working on developing the coin compared to 100+ ranked coins we dont even know if the team is still at the back of the coin or not

I wouldn't advise you to buy alts that are not in top 100, as they are much more volatile than the rest. Most people buy them just because they are very cheap and to speculate eventual temporary price increases on the back of naive investors.

Buy coins with structure, development, and quality, irrelevant of their price per unit. Bitcoin you can buy fractions anyways.

Buying coins with low fractional prices, for that reason alone, is terrilbe..... TERRIBLE advice.

Usually coins that are outside the top 100 are young and promising and sometimes it is very profitable to invest in such coins and get a good profit over time

Most of the alt coins outside the top 100 on CMC, are just pump and dumping scheme that shouldn't be invested in for a long time,  the coins market are usually manipulated.
The conclusion is that we can be very lucky if we buy coins below the 100th rank, only we can lose a lot if we don't succeed on time when we sell them.
so coins below the 100th rank are good enough to buy but not as safe as top-ranking coins.

Yes there are many projects that much more good than some from top 100, for example, look at DeepOnion GitHub activity and check others ,if coins isnt there it dont means anything there are coins with hug total supply so if they have some price it means they will be in top.

to tell that I buy - difficult, I trade rather and a coin with the large volume of the auctions is safer, but if to speak about professional trade, then it is possible to trade on a set of strategy which bring пpыбыль as instantly (skalping) and a medium-term, and long-term perespektiva

I don't give weight to ranking I always check the potential of the project and how industrious the developers and how they market their project, every coin that just starting out start in the bottom and they work their way up to the top of the market.

I am agree, every person have their own analysis. My analysis before make investment on where that coin listed and how many daily transaction volume. If the coin have big daily transaction constantly, i think its good coin and many investor interest to invest

Coin position in the market is very important. But I think this position is not all, because there are many coins which position are not top 100, yet they are profitable. So it would not be possible to think that the position of this coin is not in top 100, so it will not be profitable. The coins that will be profitable will be to buy the coins.

It's risky. This is a little better than buying a lottery ticket. But it will be possible to earn more, there is a choice of a project with a small capitalization and a good news background. Such projects have very good pumps.

Depends, if you do your own research and find a really good project sure you can buy. Every big coin grows big from a small coin. Like some coins NULS, Newton, Historia, Storj, LEND, I invested some on these coins which are all not top 100

Im not an investor therfor i dont buy any coins but i do like to join airdrop and bounties therfor i still fully support those unrated coins  . Yes they arent on the top 100 list but that does not mean that they are now useless or shitcoins  because some are still useful and have a unique usage . Unrated coins are also the ones that can pump too much when compare to the top coins  .  That happen to me once on the past  ( year 2017 to be specific ) where i earn more than 1k to 2k usd from my unrated coins. .

I personally buy altcoins not based on ranking I prefer to buy a new altcoin but have a clear prospect going forward because the new altcoin has a large potential to provide profits in a short time

Investing with a problem that is on the coincoincap must have a proposal from people who already know how to invest things that are about to be risked about the altcoin

The coins not on top 100 can sometimes lead to very good ROI yes they are risky but if you did your research on the project properly than they are not that risky. Some of my best returns were from the coins that were not in the top 100.
If you say these things in 2017, I will agree very much because projects in the past are quite good and stable, if we have a careful analysis and information search, altcoin that is not in the top 100 will still give us a good profit without too much risk. The situation right now is not so much changed, the biggest change is the risk, the risk for these altcoin has become too big when the collapse time is too long, and the rate of successful recovery is too low, all just collapses and never comes back, continuing to invest in this direction is really no longer profitable

Certainly promising if we buy coins that are not 100, most coins that are not top 100 are cheap and promising to be traded daily, I choose coins that are potentially profitable in the short term (less than a month)

the ranking is only temporary. i am more concerned about the project itself. the long bear market has just ended. many excellent projects are still in a state of contraction. They are worthy of your gold rush.
