I almost pick those altcoins in top10 because this coins have a big potential than compare it to other coins not perfectly pump up until now.

Yes if you want a high profit with a high risk then go to low cap coins, this will make you rich. However if you want lesser risk then invest in top 100 in coinmarketcap but dont expect a huge return as they not pumps a lot because of high liquidity. As for my decision, I dont invest in top 100 coins, I invest in startups and low cap coins because it gives you huge returns.

Most at times when buying altcoins I don't buy because they are among the top 100 or not on coinmarket cap but rather because they have value and I can actually make enough profit from themIf you make a research prior to buying, you will see the potential of the coin you are buying, not necessarily because it's the top 100 it's already a good coins, sometimes the good coins are not even in the top 500 in the market, they are like a hidden gem that only few will find.
There are also bad coins in the top 100, which are overvalued and can dump anytime when the team leaves the project.
Let's be smart in choosing, don't buy only based on its high ranking, but on its real value.

Actually buying not top 100 is a good opportunity to get big profits in a short time, as we know that not top 100 can go up to hundreds of percent per day so that if we can analyze well then it will make us get rich quick.
There is no point in buying such coins. Since you will spend a lot of your nerves and time. For such coins need constant monitoring and you should be lucky that you were able to sell them at the right time.
It all depends on the team behind the project if you have Confidence in the project why not you can invest in them may be some days their become among the top 100 after all the cryptocurrency industry is still developing. But if you can invest in the top 10 or 100 it still OK it all depends on your believe.

I invest some of them not in top 100 of coin marketcap and it is very risky when you invest with them but you to be more vigilant of doing investing because some of them are not quite profitable because of slow in development.

I made mistake of buying some of those useless coin last year with the hope they are going yo yield good return, it was a very costly mistake because their price keep falling nonstop, i will never in those shit coin again is such a hard way of learning my lessons. 
I bought these coins, but now I am very sorry. In general, it is enough to buy Bitcoin and do nothing else, history shows that this is the most reliable way to make money.
As long as I can be sure of the team then I will buy coins or tokens even though not top 100 rankings, I always think that the higher the risk the opportunity for profit is also high so buying top 100 notes is a promising thing.
Honestly most of my holdings are not in the top 100 or even 200 or never listed in cmc but I buy those that I think will do good in my view they are just not given the attention that they deserve, I find projects with great teams, most of my coins I can say is undervalued but I am expecting to make profits from them by the right time.
Usually coins that are outside the top 100 are young and promising and sometimes it is very profitable to invest in such coins and get a good profit over time
Most of the alt coins outside the top 100 on CMC, are just pump and dumping scheme that shouldn't be invested in for a long time, the coins market are usually manipulated.
Well, not all times that happens, because it is the case of some currencies that come out with their project and that for reasons that are so new are not listed even in CMC and when they are listed, they are very far away and in the Exchanges that achieve They can not even be lucky enough to be pump and dump.
Some currencies manage to remain with good indexes of futures, but when not reaching a good Exchange the investors do not manage to know them, they are able to know when they are accompanied of having a large community and of being with a great marketing, nevertheless this does not help, and if it enters the top 100 of CMC does not guarantee that it is a reliable currency, because it can have a single pump but more may never achieve something this big, the similar case was a currency of privacy that reached almost 20usd with bitcoin bullish trend and today is less than 1USD simply because they did not have the conviction of having it in an Exchange that makes it survive with pump and dump, so many of those currencies and projects are not even lucky to get to pump and constant dump.
Sometimes I buy coins outside top100 but I try to sell them as fast as possible again, most of the altcoins I have are top20 altcoins, you can be lucky to find a good coin project outside top100 but most project will never make it.

There are only several coins in the top 100 that are good to invest in long term and most of them rise only ocassionally. But there are also coins and tokens below the top 100 that are worth-buying because of their non-stop developments causing the price to go up often. So I'm not often looking on the rank of coin but I use technical and fundamental analysis before buying them. Bitcoin also affects the price of these coins when its price is going uptrend.
